    Bibimbap. Definitely worth the hype!

Great ambiance, super friendly service and amazing food! The Bibimbap was very satisfying. Full, but not stuffed.

    Menu is varied!!

First, the overall vibe is great!! Then, the food was equally great!! We had both soups, meatballs, and lettuce wraps. Everything was absolutely delicious. We met the owners and truly enjoyed their company and sharing.

Best restaurant in Northport and surrounding areas in Leelanau county. Brandon is an amazing host and Chef Josh is a super chef! You can expect to get high quality food that is healthy and tasty. Josh is a real chef, not a cook like many surrounding eateries. He always has a few "specials" that delight and surprise us. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant! Lettuce wraps are fun and healthy, and the walleye last night was just amazing! We were even treated to a desert so new, that it is not even named yet!

Yard and Lake has the best food in Northport! The service was absolutely amazing. Eli and Brandon made us feel so welcomed. Chef Josh came out and chatted with us and talked about the specials. We can't wait to go back.

A rainy day with the kids and we decided to go to the porcupine shop in town. There, they gave our kids a treasure map that lead to a small toy shop in the back of Yard and Lake. It was adorable and the kids loved it. After we went to the bar side and enjoyed the beautiful bar area and a wonderful spicy margarita and a mocktail. We will definitely be back, fun for everyone!

New and cool bar and shop in Northport! Bartenders shaking up legit cocktails. My Blueberry Lavender Mojito was lovely, fresh, refreshing, and perfect. Lots to choose from, beer, cider, cocktails, mocktails and more. Light and airy with a couple garage window doors, opened up for beautiful weather days (like today), think California mid century modern meets beach lite. Breezy. The bar staff was wonderful. Helpful, attentive without hovering. Fun watching the main bartender shaking two cocktails at a time. Big spiggoted jar of cool water with slices of cucumbers and limes provided gratis, a very nice and thoughtful touch. Two outdoor seating areas, one with picnic tables by the amazing Taqueria Mosqueda food truck (OMG, Gorditas we're to die for!) and the other covered by a huge pergola strung with lights. The connected gift shop has some cool merch, t-shirts, swim shorts and jewelry, plus more. This place is going to be the hit of the summer! Can't wait to come back and just hang!

With that being said... the service was the downfall. When we walked in, the only other table that was seated was leaving so we were the only group. They were not busy. We had 12 and they cleared an area and seated us. We placed our drink order and then I asked about splitting the bill and I am not exaggerating one bit. She looked at me and rudely said "It literally says in the menu that we do not split bills and that there will be a 20% gratuity". So, since she is already guaranteed the 20% there is no sense in her being a good waitress from that point on. Again, we were the only table. There were times that we had to go to the bar to refill drinks. Another table did come in while we were there and that waitress was super friendly. Wish we had gotten her as our server. So, we each went to the ATM machine and withdrew $ to split the bill on our own. The very next day, we went to Rare Bird Brewery and when we walked in the staff told us right away about their policy to not split bills. Which we praised them for - excellent service. And in the end because they were not busy, they split our bills anyway. So, my suggestion is that Streetside Grill announce their policy when a table that large asks for seating. It costs nothing to be up front.

The pulled pork mac n cheese was 10/10, meatloaf cupcakes and fish & chips were all also enjoyed by several people in the group. Even went back 2x on the trip because of the wide variety of options on the menu and space for a big group. Service was slightly disappointing and unhelpful

It appeared to be a sports bar and restaurant from how it was decorated and the TV sets playing Tennis. Our server seated us, quickly took our drink order and got our breakfast menus. I ordered the Two Egg breakfast (eggs over easy, Sourdough toast) and my wife got the Big Breakfast, (eggs medium) which she wanted for the pancakes. The meals took a while even though the place wasn't busy. We soon found out the eggs had been switched. Her's were easy over and mine were medium. So we switched the eggs. My easy over eggs were not fully cooked before they were flipped. My wife's medium eggs were cooked perfectly. However neither egg dish was salted or peppered while being cooked. The pancakes were perfect however. Light, fluffy, and delicious!' She shares one with me and I agreed, delicious, light and fluffy. Her hash browns were not cooked except on the surface. Mine were cooked nicely. However again the hash browns were not salted or peppered during cooking as far as I could tell. All and all the food was good for a breakfast place and the serving sizes were adequate for what we ordered.

We had wanted to sit on the rooftop to enjoy the views but it wasn't opening until 4PM so we didn't get to experience that. The clam chowder was on special so I ordered that to start with some peel and eat shrimp, cold- you can get them hot or cold and they were perfectly done and the cocktail sauce wasn't so strong that it overpowered the shrimp which was appreciated. My husband and I shared the trout basket and they were very lightly breaded, not greasy at all and well seasoned. My son ordered a cheeseburger and raved about it so much that he told our waitress on the way out that it was 5-star worthy. Note: he orders burgers everywhere we go so I trust his judgement . It was cooked how he asked- medium rare- and was thick and juicy to top it off. If you're looking for a spot with friendly service and delicious food- it's a must try in Sutton's Bay.

The dough tasted homemade, perfectly chewy and flavorful. They offer a variety of sizes and toppings. We ordered the largest (deluxe)one for our group of two adults and three toddlers. It filled us up and we still had slices left over! Prices are very reasonable, especially for families, which makes this spot even better.
