Anyway, I went in this afternoon to make a purchase. And the employee was kind enough to allow me to have a purchase discount in the same amount of the expired gift card. This store is always clean and has so much merchandise. In the very back of the store , there is a clearance rack , so be sure to check that out. All of the employees that I have had contact with have been professional and very friendly and accommodating. We will be back here for sure.

The shoe associate couldn't answer 1 of my questions, seems to know nothing about their products, and kept looking up on a handheld stock on shoes "I" asked about telling me every time they were out of my size, a woman's 9??! So I went back to REI because they've never let me down. "Abel" was freaking amazing. I ended up trying the "Alta Sand W Olympus 6", zero drop shoes. Tried them today on a shorter walk-6miles uphill. No pain and my toes could spread out like they were designed to do. Thank you Abel and thank you as always REI-Abq location

They answered a lot of my…read morequestions and gave me some sound advice; being a beginner in the fishing world is very overwhelming since there were so many choices of rods, baits, etc to pick from. It was fun walking around this store looking at all the different things they had compared to what is available at my own local Bass Pros. Super good value on the fishing rod pack and left the store feeling excited and a little more confident about my fishing trip.

Yelp reviews confirm it And i lived it this morning Required a training dog collar, items like that require a trip to Cabelas in my book Now expensive items like my collar are locked up. Ok. Makes it hard to spin the box to read up on the items but ok. Found the one i wanted Went up to customer service desk and asked for help in dog collars since they are locked up Went back to the collars and waited. And waited Went back to customer service again and asked for help to unlock the dog collars Went back to collars and waited and waited Almost ready to give up. Shelf stocker walked by in green cabelas shirt and i asked him to unlock the dog collars. He did what i asked begrudgingly then asked if i had completed my shopping so he could take the collar to the cash register Oh boy. You bet i'm done shopping! Dropped almost $300 and this visit really put a bad taste in my mouth Really enjoyed all my visits and products i have purchased in the past If this is the future of cabelas/bass pro you won't last I don't ask for a red carpet but don't make me regret spending money at your store either I did get my collar Really need it But my years of trust and loyalty are shaken How many folks give up and walk Cabelas??

You can probably find some items cheaper online, but I would gladly pay a bit more here to see things in person and get the quality products they offer. Staff experience was mixed. Some staff members were very attentive and friendly, while others felt unapproachable and seemed to completely ignore customers which was a bit off-putting. The security guard was very friendly. It was an okay experience, but I am not sure I would choose them over REI or a generic online product next time.

It's worth signing up for their emails because you can stay ahead of the specials that way - however this can be injurious to your wallet. I just visited to select, buy and pick up a new heater and I want to make a point to thank both Lance and Ray at the gun counter - they were friendly in addition to being professional and their spirit made these visits nice. Sportsman's Warehouse doesn't get five stars only because they are so brutally understaffed at the gun counter - it simply takes a long time to get anything done because there aren't enough staff there to handle the amount of business they have going on. I'm sort of surprised that management doesn't address this, as I see people getting tired of waiting and walking out of the store every single time that I visit. Management, you're leaving money in their wallets: they came to spend it, and you don't have enough staff to take it - get with the program!

As I walked up I asked if they had cleats and the one talking could not stop for a second but another employee told me "they are back by the stairs". Didn't offer to help and just pointed. After looking around I left the store completely disgusted with their service. I was forced to return due to 2 other stores not having any in stock. I chose a pair of cleats and asked for football gloves. An employee tried to point in another direction and only agreed to show me when I asked if I could interrupt their conversation and have someone show me what gloves they had. Teen (or early 20s) employees should not be managed by another teen (or early 20s) individual. Learn what customer service is if you are going to be working retail. You are not paid to socialize! I would have rather spent my hard earned money elsewhere!

As we walked in he asked the lady at the register where the restroom was, rudely, she replied, we do not have public restrooms, so we walked right back out, loaded the baby, and went home. We will never buy from Big 5 again. When we told our family members my son said he stopped shopping there for the exact same reason. To us it was more about not having a restroom accessible to customers but to get the rudeness as well was just that much more disappointing and upsetting. I will be sure to spread the experience.

But, the store is full of an impressive stock of inventory for your sporting needs. Today, I stopped by the shop to get a water bottle cage. I had a remaining balance on a gift card to use. I found the cage. I also looked at a pair of biking glasses as I am in the market for some. The glasses where right next to the register with a few employees. I asked if I could take the transition lenses outside to try them. The took off the security device so I could do so. I opted not to get the glasses today, but I might get them in the near future. There was some trouble getting my gift card balance applied, but that was resolved and my purchased was complete. I read several Yelp reviews from customers complaining about the employees ignoring customers. I have to address this. Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel the need to be acknowledged when I'm in a store. If I need someone, I will flag them down. I came in today with a budget of around $3k and wanted help as Im looking to enter into the big boy bike world after only owning "cheapy" Walmart bikes. The thing that irks me the most is there were 2 other customers in the store and about 4 swinging dick employees just sitting around chatting. I don't know if it was just the way I looked but they asked the other customers if they needed help and not me. I had read from other reviews about this issue.... Should have listened. It's their loss. I'll take my money where people actually care to help.
