I had a very frustrating experience with Sportsman's Warehouse in Rohnert Park…read more I placed an online order that showed an estimated delivery date of June 11, 2026. The next day, I checked the website and saw the exact item was available in store. I called the Rohnert Park location and asked if they could simply switch my online order to the inventory they had in store so I could start my 10 day waiting period sooner without having to cancel and reorder. I was told that would not be a problem and that I could come into the store and begin the paperwork. After driving to the store and waiting about 45 minutes, I was told something completely different. They said I would have to cancel my online order and place a brand new order for the one they had in stock. That was not what I was told on the phone. I declined because my original online order included a $120 Sezzle promotion that reduced my total cost. Canceling and reordering would have meant losing that discount. I left the store disappointed and decided I would just wait for my original order to arrive. What really made this situation unacceptable was what happened afterward. The same day, someone from the store contacted customer service regarding my order. Then today, I received confirmation that my online order had been canceled even though I never authorized anyone to cancel it. WTF? Why would anyone cancel a customer's order without their permission, especially when they did not even process the in store purchase I originally came in for? I specifically chose to keep my online order because I did not want to lose the $120 promotion. I wasted time driving to the store, waited nearly an hour, was given conflicting information, and now my order has been canceled without my consent. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and reflects a serious lack of communication and customer service.

Make an appointment and he'll walk you through your options and get you sized and carefully fitted expertly. He's got better in stock selection of balls and shoes than any shop I've found so far and can order anything he doesn't have. His pricing is very competitive with online stores once you factor in drilling. I paid 5% more than I would have if I had ordered my Storm ball online and brought it in for drilling, which is more than fair. His pricing on drilling only might be a little steeper than others, but he really does do an expert job, and frankly is an incentive to order a ball through him and support your local small business. Nick was happy to answer questions on accessories and shoes, but he didn't try to get me to add-on anything to my purchase. I came back on my own to get a ball for my girlfriend, ball cleaner and a new pair of shoes because we need more good, local small businesses like Classic Sports. The only thing I'll add is that if you call and Nick seems rushed on the phone it's only because he probably has an appointment customer in front of him, along with 1-2 other store customers waiting. You'll see when you go in for your fitting, he really is busy.

I find them more stylish than Arcteryx (which specialized in cold weather) and Mountain Hardware, and less pretentious and simply better fitting than The North Face. My particular faves are their Precip and Oracle jackets. You can really only get these at higher end stores like Any Mountain, REI, or a speciality snow sports/outdoor store. Personally REI has great deals at end of season and honestly I don't care if it's last year's style.

I've had the Aeolos 2P for almost three years now, and it's my go-to tent for backcountry camping, car camping, and rock climbing trips. One of the door zippers stopped working and the teeth wouldn't catch fully. I washed it (for the first time), set it up in my living room to dry, and sent it in for repair. A few weeks later, it was good as new and free of charge! Similar zipper issue with my Eos 1P, except this time for the rainfly. I bought this tent for my sabbatical trips to Patagonia and New Zealand and have probably spent more than 25 nights in it so far. Got it cleaned up, sent it in, and today I just got it back from FedEx. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more Marmot gear as they really stand behind their products.

So this is more for management because they allow it and managers should be the ones to address this since they get paid more... Apparently this is a pet friendly Walmart so feel free to bring all your untrained dogs and place them in shopping carts and roll them around at this Walmart. While you're there, make sure they lick the bananas and rub their filthy fur on the clothes and sniff people's legs and pee on stuff too. Apparently Walmart doesn't care. I was in here a couple of hours ago with my trained Service Dog in Training (legitimate, not fake) that works and trains daily. As we walked up to the register to pay, viscous barking started coming from the cart the woman in front of me had. Did they leave with the obviously NOT A SERVICE DOG? No. No one at Walmart told this stupid woman and her daughter and untrained POS white fluffy lap dog in the cage of a cart (thankfully) to get out. The dog just kept barking viciously at my Service Dog who sat quietly ignoring the garbage dog. If that dog had gotten free of the cart and injured my dog while he was working I would have dragged that stupid woman through court so fast and had her dog put down immediately. My dog is protected by law while he's working and her dog is violating health and safety codes and ADA and CA disability laws. Walmart allows dogs in carts, barking, regularly as I've seen it multiple times and tonight just went over the top. Not only did this woman allow her dog to bark at us uncontrollably, she never apologized and she triggered my disability to where I've now been suffering from elevated heart rate, anxiety, etc. for the past 4 hours. Take note Walmart and fake Service Dog owners: if a real Service Dog gets injured because Walmart is too lazy to ask people with dogs two legal questions and too scared to legally ask people with obviously fake SDs to leave then someone will eventually get hurt and sued. And for the fake SD owners...you're not sly or fooling anyone. And you're making it hard for people that actually need the dog. I hope you get mauled by your own dog. There are no bad dogs...just bad owners and she was one that deserves a good bite.
