So after seeing the reviews we were excited to come try it. The place is located along a strip mall off 14th Street and offers plenty of parking. Very clean inside and the decor fits the theme. I got the Big Bird Chicken Sandwich w/ fries and my wife got the 3 piece chicken strip meal. The presentation of the meal was great. Huge sandwich with 2 strips of chicken inside. Comes with their own sauce mix, had a honey mustard theme. My first impression on taste was the chicken wasn't seasoned well and the chicken was slightly overcooked. On the chewy side. The fries were hot and fresh. My wife's strips where the same overcooked and not seasoned well. I can taste the seasoning on the batter but nothing on the chicken. I had to salt my chicken between bites. She also got the collard greens and Mac n cheese as her sides, also comes with a homemade biscuit. The collards were overly salted beyond eatable and the Mac n cheese was drowning in cheese sauce. Like a cheesy soup. Biscuit tasted great. I'm sorry to say Zaxby's won't be losing my business and I'll be hard pressed to come back. I was hoping for a local wow factor. So disappointed. Season the chicken before cooking people. Gordon Ramsey would be yelling at you.

The chicken tenders were a hit. So so good. The service was great and the attendant was kind. He was always attentive. It felt sort of like a dinner with the vibe but you go up to the counter to order.

Little hole in the wall chicken eating establishment which also serves breakfast and the prices are pretty reasonable considering the supply chain issues that everyone in business is having at this time. The good: The onion rings are in house made not frozen The chicken tastes fresh - I had the original wings with BBQ sauce and Garlic Parmesan sauce The staff is friendly and the evening manager was very nice Decor is nice and interesting and wow they have TV's all over this place. The restaurant is very bright and clean, booths and tables available along with outside seating. The eh, they could do better The sides serving portion is moderately small - I asked if when you order a regular side would the portion be bigger and there was a not so clear answer. My portion was part of the daily special and seemed small ish. The onion ring coating was not sticking to the onion. The original wings were juicy inside but not exceptionally hot, more like kinda hot, but they were cooked thoroughly but probably kept warm, thus the kinda hot. As you can see from the photos, the wings still have feather hairs, especially one wing which looked like feathers be gone, but the hairs remained. Eww. I did bring this to manager attention and was told they do their best to pluck what the supplier sends but some does get missed. We all know buy buying poultry at the supermarket that even there you will find left overs from when processing does not fully do their job and we as purchasers take care of that at home as hair/feather left behinds are not appetizing. The BBQ sauce was standard and could be anyone of the type you can pick up at the grocery. The Garlic Parmesan sauce tasted like Italian dressing with extra garlic and a little Parmesan cheese added in. The Honey Mustard sauce was more mustard than honey and tangy The Teriyaki Sauce tastes like Oy Vey In fairness and because the restaurant is fairly new, I am giving it 4 stars because of the growing pains of opening a new restaurant, that being said, I personally would not serve food to a guest that I would not eat and Chicken with remaining hairs is an issue. I did let the manager know that all those extras can easily be burned off with an open flame versus plucking them by hand which is a waste of time. Would I come back here to give them another try, probably for a sandwich, but probably not for the wings. Chicken needs seasoning because it's naturally bland and even some extra marinating might have helped the flavor.

The flavor was just ok. The fries were good and great flavor. The coleslaw and great flavor. Everything was super clean. The staff were very friendly. * The negatives in our opinion; they called out the orders over the intercom system VERY loud!!! One of the girls would yell the person's order over the intercom. Everyone around us would hold their ears. When the guy would call out the order it was fine. We sat outside in the patio area. There were teenage kids at the table next to us that was being sooo loud and yelling back and forth and would even throw things and each other. After about 10 minutes when we sat down to eat thank goodness they left!!!! In our opinion (my wife and I) we felt Cane's was OK. For a fast casual dining restaurant, off the bat, the exterior of this location is very inviting with its contemporary style. The aesthetics of this location continues inside with it's decor and the various seating arrangements which include the standard height, booths and bar height tables. As for the food, I appreciate that there's not a crazy amount of options. It's mainly Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Texas Toast, Coleslaw and their Cane's sauce. Their drink options include: fountain dinks, iced tea, and lemonade. We learned that the lemonade is made in-house and freshly squeezed each day, which was actually pretty delicious. We got The Box combo so we could try a little of everything. The toast was nicely buttered and toasty. The chicken fingers and coleslaw were just average tasting. The chicken was fried well and juicy on the inside but it felt like it lacked a bit of flavor. It wasn't bland but I guess if you dipped in into the sauce, it's their saving grace. The Cane's Sauce is really good, by the way. The coleslaw tasted as I expected so nothing really stood out to me. There are 2 family restrooms with changing tables. It was nice, clean and well stocked with paper products. High chairs are available outside the restrooms. And the service we received was great!

I believe this location may be cursed. pollo Tropical had a great product at greta pricing, but they couldn't manage staff well. This building is a redesigned Pollo Tropical. The decor is trendy and utilitarian and the space was clean. Employees were friendly and professional. Our food was ready on time and was hot. the French fries were crispy and very heavily seasoned. The real travesty here is the chicken. Form the very first bite I had a mouth of dry spices, with the gritty texture to go alone with it. The taste of cumin is so overwhelming that it is making me gag and I use cumin regularly in cooking. I don't get it. Quite literally the worst chicken I have ever had. Like eating chicken that someone dropped in the garden and just shook off. Truly awful. Sorry, Dave's, but what we got was a joke right? I just wanted to add that I did try to reach out to Dave's. If you call the restaurant, it won't let you talk to anyone there and instead you get a message that recommends sending a message through their website. So that's what I did. Days later, and I still have no response from the incompetent leadership at Dave's Hot Chicken. I would very much like to speak to someone that is either an area or corporate leader. How do I reach them since I'm having to file a Better Business Bureau complaint and a chargeback with my credit card just from this experience where apparently you don't give a damn about your customers. Congratulations on the cursed location. Out of all the bad experiences we had at Pollo Tropical, none were this bad and clearly this location is operating without any training or leadership.

Inside, the vibe is half sports bar, half carnival ride. Bright colors, loud music, and TVs everywhere showing either skateboarding fails or chicken-themed commercials. Employees: The staff are hyped up like they just ate a whole basket themselves. They greet you with, "Welcome to the EXTREME!" and somehow make you believe this isn't just lunch, it's an event. Service is quick, friendly, and a little chaotic -- like your food might arrive with someone ringing a cowbell. Food: The chicken strips are the main event, and they are absurd. Each one is the size of your forearm, battered so heavily that the crunch echoes across the room. Flavor levels go from "Original Crunch" to "Atomic Blast." Sides include fries, onion rings, and something called Extreme Slaw (which tastes like normal slaw but comes in a black-and-red container). Sauces are plentiful, ranging from ranch to a Carolina Reaper dip that feels like a dare. Bathrooms: Surprisingly clean for a place this wild. The stalls are decorated with graffiti-style chicken art, and the soap dispensers say "Wash your hands... EXTREME!" Mirrors have neon frames, which makes you feel like you're in a music video while fixing your hair. Extras: They have arcade machines in the corner (mostly racing and shooting games), and the napkin dispensers shoot napkins at you with way too much force. Seating is sturdy, clearly built for people who plan to eat three baskets and then collapse. Final Verdict: Chicken Strip Extreme isn't just a restaurant -- it's an experience. Loud, wild, and unapologetically over the top. You don't just eat here, you survive it.

You don't see this because the fish is now a filet. The meat has a firm yet flaky texture that is mild, slightly sweet with a clean taste. Think of it like a cross between snapper and mahi mahi. It comes lightly blackened but you can request different when ordering. The garnish is a topper of spiraled fried carrot and a tablespoon of avocado salsa. It has the flavors of guacamole but more of a texture similar to a chunky salsa. I could have used a little (lot) more. It's yummy and a good foil for the blackening spices. The rice is served plain. If you don't care for bare rice, ask for a gravy or a sauce when ordering. All in all, an excellent dish! So, when you come here, do look for UNICORNS! They are delicious! -

I can't rave about this place enough. We ended the meal with homemade strawberry cake, another winner!! The service is wonderful, everyone is attentive and wants to make sure you're taken care of. Waters refilled, which is a rarity these days and food was served prompt. Although small, Birdies is mighty with flavor, service and cute decor!
