Finally after months I got to try the infamous Raising Cane's everyone have been raving about. I order the cananic combo which come with 6 pc of tender coleslaw and Texas toast for just $20.45. Like other reviews mention if you aren't going to eat it right away then it eliminates the experience. Anyways after ordering and paying the chicken tender is crispy for most part but lacks flavor, the sauce the famous sauce that everyone would get a cup of to dip, was nothing special it's not worth the hype if we're being honest it just feel like ranch mayo and ketchup + seasoning mix into it nothing really special truth be told. Cole slaw was okay decent. Texas toast could be crispy on both side than one side being soft and the other is crispy. Overall I rate it a 4.5/10 ( and that was because I was high when I ate it ) but I wouldnt say I would want to come back and order again.

Raising Cane's has finally made it to JAX and I was able to try it fairly quickly to it opening since we ordered it for the office. We got a bunch of tenders, Cane's Sauce, toast, and some fries which was probably the best most since they wouldn't last long coming back over the bridge. The tenders and sauce were good. I will say I can't say it was the freshest it could have been because the office is about 20-30 minutes from the new location. I will say it is very similar to Zaxby's tenders and their sauce. I didn't really notice much of a difference. The tender might have been a little thicker but nothing too crazy. Maybe fresh and right next to reach other I could figure out which is actually better but for the time being I will not be traveling all the way to Oakleaf when I have Zaxby's so close. I'm sure I'll make it to the next one once it opens in Towncenter cause I'm sure Ashley will have to try it. I did like the toast but did wish it was grilled/toasted on reach side instead of just one.

Raising Cane's has good chicken. It is not super flavorful. However, it is usually fresh, moist and never has gristle. Some location have bigger tenders and some have smaller, not really sure why. This location does smaller, and sometimes super small which for the price is just wrong. The fries are find. It would be better with seasoned salt. The coleslaw is okay but I usually forgo and get double fries. The canes sauce is pretty good. First few times I had it, I didn't really care for it but it has grown on me, especially with the fries. The toast is the best thing on the menu. I get it BOB (Butter on Both Sides). Once, you do that, you won't go back. The service has been good since the opened. Even after opening with crazy lines, they got through the lines pretty quick. Like I said, it is okay. Chicken is too small for the price. Toast is the way to go.

Nobody can really complain about Cane's except for a customer service issue. The food is always good, the place is always clean, it all runs smoothly. I like to get the sandwich, some people like just the tenders, to each its own.

I figured today's the day! I tried Raising Cane's famous chicken for the first time. The new location offers 2 drive-ins that make your wait doable. The menu is short and sweet: chicken fingers or sandwich. I chose the 3-piece combo with sweet tea. The chicken is definitely tender, the bread was delicious, and the sweet tea was on point. Most important to me custmer service was happy..It is a compliment to Duval/Clay.

Who else is excited to have raising canes in Jacksonville? ‍ raising canes, chicken is always fresh and juicy and crunchy. At the same time. The bread is nice and buttery and the fries are always crisp and fresh. I got the ice tea as a beverage. Their service is always professional and kind and this new location is sparking clean. I am so happy to have this new restaurant in Jacksonville.

As a follow on to my review. I have to give Canes credit for immediate response to my review. Above beyond the fact that I was contacted and asked to call, they were very receptive and hope to see some changes.

I tried Raising Cane's tonight for the first time. The chicken tasted fresh and crispy. The fries were decent and the sauce tastes just like Zaxby's sauce. There was cole slaw and bread on the side, cole slaw was great, bread was okay. The aesthetic of the restaurant was really cute though, definitely a step up from a typical fast food chain. I would visit again if I'm in the area but it's not a destination.

Quick and reliable fried chicken. I have been a fan of raising canes for years now so this Oakleaf location is perfect for me! I went 4x during the opening week and 2x during the second week. Each time the chicken was fresh and the service was quick, especially with the volume of customers. The restaurant feels extremely fast paced but that is to be expected at the moment. Can't wait to see what else is in store for this location!

Finally stopped in for lunch since the hype died down a little. The parking lot setup is strange... feels like they want to funnel you into the drive thru, but I parked up front after sneaking through the next lot. Kept it simple with the Box Combo: four tenders, fries, coleslaw, and their famous "Cane's Sauce." Food came out quick, staff at the counter was friendly, no complaints there. Inside though... man, it feels like a meat locker. Metal tables locking in the cold, crowded space by the fountain machine, and not much room to stand while waiting for food. On the food: Coleslaw was heavy on the sauce, not really my style. Like it could of been a chunky dip. Fries are skinny crinkle-cuts with no seasoning. Had to hit the salt and pepper myself. Chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside, but the texture threw me off... kind of soft and flaky like fish instead of that satisfying snap. Not much seasoning either, so the sauce has to carry it. I don't know if the sauce is worth all the hype. One cup didn't feel like enough for four tenders. Bread is more like a toasted bun than Texas toast. Soft and fluffy, but not sure how you're supposed to work it in with the meal. Glad I tried it, but probably not rushing back. The menu is super limited, which I guess keeps orders fast, but I'd rather go somewhere that seasons their food and gives more variety. 3 stars - checked the box, now I know.

To go order- they can do better than this.

As a creature of habit, I get what I know and like, and VERY RARELY am I left wondering why I spent my money here. So, I guess that is something to say considering the last time I went to Zaxbys (at any location) has been well over two years. On a time crunch, this location was en route as I left Jacksonville to head back home to Orlando, and the service was quick despite there being a line of cars. I didn't go inside the restaurant, so I cannot speak to the overall look, feel, and/or ambiance of the space, but I am sure it is standard. Most fast food restaurants have a standard look and feel, especially if they are chain restaurants, and are usually devoid of any personality beyond that. As for the food, it was good. I got the kids (chicken tender) meal (do not judge me). Haha! It hit the spot and did what I needed it to do, which was to hold me over on my drive back home. As always, I paired it with the special sauce and some water (because I promise I am an adult - haha). And that's that. I cannot recommend whether this location is the best spot or not, as I do not live in Jacksonville to be able to say yay or nay. But my experience the day I visited was good.

The place is usually packed, but since it was Sunday before noon I managed to beat the post-church crowd. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had a steady stream of drive thru orders coming in, so it was louder in the kitchen than the dining room. The lady at the counter was patient and leaned in to catch my order clearly, which I appreciated. I went with the Wings & Things meal. The lemon pepper wings didn't have that crisp snap I normally expect, though the flavor was solid. The tenders tossed in Tongue Torch sauce hit the right note, but the wings just weren't at their best today. I didn't mention it to the counter since the rush was picking up. On the bright side, the fried pickles were spot on. The wife was happy, so that part was a win.

I am not sure of titles or positions, but I am guessing Troy is in management. If he is responsible for the hiring, he has done a great job! In my few visits to this store, I have always been treated like they are actually happy I showed up. This is so rare in the restaurant business these days. On my first visit, I met JJ, an energetic and enthusiastic bundle of energy. On my subsequent visits, she introduced me to Vanessa and Alexis, who were just as effervescent. I really like going to this store! Troy, while a bit more reserved, demonstrated confident professionalism. It is also clear that the team that works with him respects his leadership.
