We've been wanting to try Raising Cane's Chicken since we heard they were opening this location. Today I ordered The Box Combo. * The chicken fingers were good and very tender. The flavor was just ok. The fries were good and great flavor. The coleslaw and great flavor. Everything was super clean. The staff were very friendly. * The negatives in our opinion; they called out the orders over the intercom system VERY loud!!! One of the girls would yell the person's order over the intercom. Everyone around us would hold their ears. When the guy would call out the order it was fine. We sat outside in the patio area. There were teenage kids at the table next to us that was being sooo loud and yelling back and forth and would even throw things and each other. After about 10 minutes when we sat down to eat thank goodness they left!!!! In our opinion (my wife and I) we felt Cane's was OK. Don't think it's the best chicken in town but definitely not the worst. We will definitely be back some time. read more

This was our first ever experience with Raising Cane's and I've got to say it was a pretty good experience. For a fast casual dining restaurant, off the bat, the exterior of this location is very inviting with its contemporary style. The aesthetics of this location continues inside with it's decor and the various seating arrangements which include the standard height, booths and bar height tables. As for the food, I appreciate that there's not a crazy amount of options. It's mainly Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Texas Toast, Coleslaw and their Cane's sauce. Their drink options include: fountain dinks, iced tea, and lemonade. We learned that the lemonade is made in-house and freshly squeezed each day, which was actually pretty delicious. We got The Box combo so we could try a little of everything. The toast was nicely buttered and toasty. The chicken fingers and coleslaw were just average tasting. The chicken was fried well and juicy on the inside but it felt like it lacked a bit of flavor. It wasn't bland but I guess if you dipped in into the sauce, it's their saving grace. The Cane's Sauce is really good, by the way. The coleslaw tasted as I expected so nothing really stood out to me. There are 2 family restrooms with changing tables. It was nice, clean and well stocked with paper products. High chairs are available outside the restrooms. And the service we received was great! read more

Finally after months I got to try the infamous Raising Cane's everyone have been raving about. I order the cananic combo which come with 6 pc of tender coleslaw and Texas toast for just $20.45. Like other reviews mention if you aren't going to eat it right away then it eliminates the experience. Anyways after ordering and paying the chicken tender is crispy for most part but lacks flavor, the sauce the famous sauce that everyone would get a cup of to dip, was nothing special it's not worth the hype if we're being honest it just feel like ranch mayo and ketchup + seasoning mix into it nothing really special truth be told. Cole slaw was okay decent. Texas toast could be crispy on both side than one side being soft and the other is crispy. Overall I rate it a 4.5/10 ( and that was because I was high when I ate it ) but I wouldnt say I would want to come back and order again. read more

Raising Cane's has finally made it to JAX and I was able to try it fairly quickly to it opening since we ordered it for the office. We got a bunch of tenders, Cane's Sauce, toast, and some fries which was probably the best most since they wouldn't last long coming back over the bridge. The tenders and sauce were good. I will say I can't say it was the freshest it could have been because the office is about 20-30 minutes from the new location. I will say it is very similar to Zaxby's tenders and their sauce. I didn't really notice much of a difference. The tender might have been a little thicker but nothing too crazy. Maybe fresh and right next to reach other I could figure out which is actually better but for the time being I will not be traveling all the way to Oakleaf when I have Zaxby's so close. I'm sure I'll make it to the next one once it opens in Towncenter cause I'm sure Ashley will have to try it. The atmosphere is cool a lot of nodes and "A Christmas Story" references. The service was fast, friendly and staff energetic. Now to the food, oh boy. The real options are chicken tenders or chicken tenders on a bun (chicken sandwich). A very lightly bread, lightly seasoned, soft chicken tender. The crinkle fries were soft, no crunch. The cole slaw was good. Now that bread , that Texas toast, A-1 give me a 5 slice meal deal! I would give my total experience 3 stars, so why am I giving it 2 stars? I ordered 5 meals to-go, inside and only got 4 meals, 5 drinks. Didn't realize it til I got home. Customer service was friendly and compensated mistake fairly. Customer service recovered this experience from a 1 star to a 2 star. Overall, service is 4/5 stars, friendly and energetic. Food quality, to me, is 3 stars. The mistake, 1 star. Customer service was 5 star but made overall experience a 2. Will I return and spend my money, no. If I'm invited, keep the Texas toast coming! Raising Cane's has good chicken. It is not super flavorful. However, it is usually fresh, moist and never has gristle. Some location have bigger tenders and some have smaller, not really sure why. This location does smaller, and sometimes super small which for the price is just wrong. The fries are find. It would be better with seasoned salt. The coleslaw is okay but I usually forgo and get double fries. The canes sauce is pretty good. First few times I had it, I didn't really care for it but it has grown on me, especially with the fries. The toast is the best thing on the menu. I get it BOB (Butter on Both Sides). Once, you do that, you won't go back. The service has been good since the opened. Even after opening with crazy lines, they got through the lines pretty quick. Like I said, it is okay. Chicken is too small for the price. Toast is the way to go. read more

Finally after letting the grand opening chaos pass, we decided to give it a shot. And boy did it suck. Fingers: dull, small, poorly seasoned. Fries: soggy, overly salty. Toast: super dense with a weird aftertaste. Slaw: in the words of my wife, "the worst coleslaw I've had in my life". The sauce: certainly doesn't live up to the internet hype. Finally stopped in for lunch since the hype died down a little. The parking lot setup is strange... feels like they want to funnel you into the drive thru, but I parked up front after sneaking through the next lot. Kept it simple with the Box Combo: four tenders, fries, coleslaw, and their famous "Cane's Sauce." Food came out quick, staff at the counter was friendly, no complaints there. Inside though... man, it feels like a meat locker. Metal tables locking in the cold, crowded space by the fountain machine, and not much room to stand while waiting for food. On the food: Coleslaw was heavy on the sauce, not really my style. Like it could of been a chunky dip. Fries are skinny crinkle-cuts with no seasoning. Had to hit the salt and pepper myself. Chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside, but the texture threw me off... kind of soft and flaky like fish instead of that satisfying snap. Not much seasoning either, so the sauce has to carry it. I don't know if the sauce is worth all the hype. One cup didn't feel like enough for four tenders. Bread is more like a toasted bun than Texas toast. Soft and fluffy, but not sure how you're supposed to work it in with the meal. Glad I tried it, but probably not rushing back. I went at 1050-ish and happy it was not busy. I ordered two big box combos. I suggest if you're not going to eat it right away don't get it. I live about 10 minutes away.
