I've heard of Big AL's when I bowl at Orleans and finally had a chance to try it. I had the cioppino and it was a big bowl of seafood deliciousness. My friends ordered the pan roast, the Manhattan chowder, seafood chowder and steam clams. Big portions. Please come and create your own adventure. We have hookers and strippers and our group.

I had the pan roast, and it was a bit underwhelming. It wasn't as bold and creamy as other pan roasts that I've tried. I had to ask two different servers if the shrimp was fresh or frozen because I couldn't tell. Also, one server said there was no lobster in the pan roast, and another server said there was. The fact that I couldn't tell says it all. For $30, I was expecting better execution, since other establishments offer the same price for pan roast. I don't think I will go out of my way to come back and try it again.

I came here with my coworker for our last day dinner while we were staying at The Orleans Hotel. One of my coworker heard great things about this place and their oyster so we were fine with eating here as long as they had the college basketball game on. We asked the host and she said the game is on so we decided to dine here and got seated in the middle to be able to watch the game. They will give you regular bread and pita bread to start you off. Two of my coworkers went with the lobster roll and the coworker got the oysters and Cioppino. I got the blacken salmon and asked for corn relish to be on the side. The oyster and Cioppino came out first, my worker liked it. The lobster roll came out next and only one of my coworker who ordered it enjoyed it. My other coworker did not like it and ate the Cioppino instead. My salmon took the longest to come out. The rice was overcooked, the salmon was okay and I did not like the corn relish. Customer service while we were dining here was fine. They weren't that busy so they were attentive to us. The atmosphere dining here is alright, it's not the best place or the worst place. You don't get the cigarette smell when dining here which is a plus.

We had some friends in town staying off strip and when looking for dinner ideas in the area, I was reminded of this place in the Orleans. It had been a few years since we've went, but the recollection was that it was a good meal. Happy to report that this still hold true. This is the Orleans version of the Stations' Oyster Bars. They have steam kettles for cooking and I will say that the portions of seafood seem to be bigger than what I got at Stations. That said, some of the seafood wasn't of the same quality as I recall at Stations, (the crab legs were small and felt overcooked and the scallops in my pasta were plentiful, but the really small ones that don't add much to the dish) so it doesn't get the fifth star. Flavors are good but not memorable. Service is good, but has moments of awkwardness bordering on pushy or rude. Overall, you'll get a good meal for a decent price. But there are other oyster bar concepts that reach that 5th star if that's what you're looking for.

This was my first time trying Big Al's at the Orleans after catching a movie, and I was genuinely looking forward to it. I'm a big fan of the oyster bars at Sunset Station and Santa Fe Station, so I walked in expecting that same lively energy -- big flavors, a fun atmosphere, and a memorable meal. The experience ended up being a bit more low‑key than I anticipated. I ordered the crab cakes, and my boyfriend went with the shrimp scampi. Both dishes were fine, just not as bold or flavorful as we were hoping for. The service was okay -- a little touch‑and‑go at times -- but everyone was polite, and the meal came out in a reasonable amount of time. Even though this visit didn't quite hit the mark for us, I can see how it might be a nice, casual spot if you're already at the Orleans and want something convenient. Maybe we just caught them on an off night. I'm open to giving it another try down the road

Boyd Casinos try so hard to duplicate the magic that Station Casinos has harvested in their Oyster Bars, but they don't even come close. Locals know that Stations should always be your first shot for oyster bars, but I had a free comp for Big Al's and decided to give it a try. Even for free, I probably would not return here. First, service was absolutely abysmal. It took forever for a server to even acknowledge our presence, and we were starving and grateful by the time she brought over a basket of bread. We ordered a shrimp cocktail and lobster stew (the special of the day) and while the shrimp was decent, the stew was pretty gross. The rice was gummy and cold, and the roux was far too thick. The flavor seemed off too, and it was something neither of us enjoyed eating. The atmosphere is typical of a casino oyster bar, and it's located right off the main gaming area. The menu is large but seems to over-promise and under-deliver. The prices are also borderline ridiculous considering what you get. I guess they inflate prices to make comped gamblers feel like they're getting a "deal." There are far, far better oyster bars in town. I'd skip this one.

All I can say is yum! Food, service, the quiet little restaurant is top notch. The cioppino was packed with seafood which I really enjoyed. The mussels were perfect with the white wine and garlic. The chef Teddy Bear was awesome. Since we are here for 4 days, guess who will be back? Come and try this place, you will enjoy it.

First time dining at Big Al's Oyster Bar, and we were pleasantly surprised. We expected it to be busy since it was Christmas Eve, but it wasn't crowded at all. We sat at the bar, which turned out to be a great choice because we got to watch our waiter, Jose, cook the food right in front of us. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he shared that the restaurant has been under new management for about a year with an updated menu. We appreciated the complimentary bread and butter to start. For our meal, we ordered a cup of Manhattan clam chowder and the garlic butter scampi mixed with shrimp, lobster, and crab. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared. Overall, it was a great first experience, and we'll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

Food is EXCELLENT, very Delicious and Flavorful ! The waitress was very friendly and knew her menu (and its ingredients). We tried getting her attention after our food was set at table side and did have to wait awhile to get her to return even after flagging others. Big Al's has its very own charm. I feel it's CLASSY with a sense of being high-end, but not its prices. Rating of 5 is for food choices, its depth of flavor and its quality. Rating of "4" unfortunately is for inattentive service especially when there were less than 4 tables to be waited upon in our section

I love me some oysters! I was pretty excited to find this restaurant and was looking forward to trying it. Sooo... We booked our reservation! Ratings 1-5 (5 being the awesomest) Service 4 Marie was our greeter, and she was so sweet and friendly. Our reservations were for an hour later, but since they were not busy, she got us in. The area was pretty quaint and the space was utilized nicely. It's located in the Orleans Hotel and Casino. The ambiance was casual and quaint. It was a lil hard to hold conversations, but that is expected in a casino! Our waitress was nice and tried her best to be attentive, but I think she was too swamped trying to handle so many patrons. Overall Food 2 The presentation of the food was pretty, but the taste and texture definitely were lacking. Seafood platter 2-3 We ordered the seafood cold plate, which came with oysters, large shrimps and a couple of snow crab legs. The oysters were good, crab legs were still frozen and the shrimp were a lil frozen as well. Chowder 3 Next was the clam chowder. This was the most flavorful dish at the restaurant, but it was definitely salty. Crab cakes 1 The crab cakes were DRY DRY DRY! The sauce was the only thing you can taste. Pan Roast 1 One of my fave dishes are pan roast! I usually order it at any Nawlins restaurant. I definitely would not recommend it here. It literally tasted like a jar of spaghetti sauce with added cream. The rice was completely dry too. I was beyond disappointed. Adult sodas 1 Extra sweet but very watered down I hate giving negative reviews. I always try to focus on the positives and possibilities. The people were great, but the food was too lacking. Unfortunately, the food is a major component when eating out. Thankfully, the hotel has a food court, so we grabbed a Subway sandwich to fill our tummies.

Friday Nights under the Lights in Las Vegas, actually we're off the strip at the Orleans casino being local tonight. The menu is short and to the point, its an oyster bar with a few frills. I started with a half dozen of assorted fresh oysters and followed that up with a seafood Louie Salad. M ordered her go to New England Clam Chowder. A bread basket had a Lavosh cracker and some part of a sourdough baguette. My critique was the bread...Serve excellent bread, something a bit creative. Sure its an obligatory pre cursor here but make it great. We've returned to those few restaurants that started with great bread. Lavosh is for upscale and really a thing of the past (my opinion) The meal was outstanding, just enough, tasty, and served hot or cold in the case of my salad. Service was very good too, prompt and courteous.Dessert well, still on the low sugar ride so perhaps another time... Its a favorite stop of ours and the family too back in the day. foodguy-martin

Great chill hangout spot inside The Orleans casino. Ordered the ciopino with linguini to hit the spot.

This is a very good oyster bar, restaurant. The quality of the seafood is fantastic. We ordered the seafood soup and oysters, which were very well prepared. The service was excellent by Andela. My parents are locals in Vegas and they recommend this place. I've been here twice and been impressed, we bought friends from LA and everyone really liked the food here. What's good is the pricing is great given you're in Vegas and in a hotel. We were also looked after by Madden who took great care of our table given eight people with continuous request to refill drinks and kids wanting different things super attentive and the service was 10 out of 10.

The comedy lineup was amazing and honestly made the whole experience so fun and memorable. Even though they forgot one of our food orders and no water was served to our table or follow-up was made to check if we needed anything afterwards, we still had a really good time because the atmosphere and performances were enjoyable. The reason I removed one star was not because of the comedians or the show itself, but due to an uncomfortable interaction regarding one of the tickets. Another group of BTS fans had an extra ticket they couldn't use, so they kindly gave it to my cousin rather than letting it go to waste. While I completely understand if the policy did not allow the extra ticket to be honored, the situation could have been handled more respectfully. Unfortunately, the Filipino lady working there (possibly a server or owner, though I'm not entirely sure) made us feel as though we were not being truthful about where the ticket came from, even after we explained that it had been given to us by another group who could not use it. A little more understanding and professionalism in that interaction would have made the experience much better overall. Before the show: Love the whole atmosphere and the food options , not to mention they did a remix of food choices so nothing can go wrong. Service was quick in the beginning and they were able to accommodate our group so quickly. I'll update more because we are about to watch the show that came with our bts ticket . It was around $40 for early bird and comes with drink and appetizer which is great deal and a show now that's a deal we can't miss!!

Walked in to a Bob Marley "Waiting in Vain" cover and already knew the atmosphere was gonna be solid. Didn't even realize they had Filipino dishes on the menu so we had to try the pork sisig. As a Filipino, I'd say it was good, just a little sweeter and heavier on the mayo than what I'm used to, but still enjoyable. We got Combo 1 with 1lb shrimp and 1/2lb crab legs in the signature Cajun medium sauce plus a side of the Cajun coconut sauce. The Cajun coconut was easily the winner for me, actually so good. Shrimp was a little overcooked and harder to peel, but overall still hit the spot. Added one of each add-on too. For starters, the chili BBQ seasoned fries instantly reminded me of Potato Corner, so now I know where to fix that craving late night. The ceviche was also surprisingly one of the better ones I've had, super flavorful and a solid portion for 2 people. Drinks were the lychee margarita and passion fruit margarita, both really good. Only downside was the drinks took a while and we had to remind our waitress since our food came out before they did. Overall though, the atmosphere, music, food variety, and late night vibe definitely made this place worth it. Would come back again!

HH is 3-6pm. It features a good sized menu of cocktails (I've enjoyed a few prior to this correspondence) including the IG worthy Berries & Bubbles cocktail. We ordered the dinner menu bread basket, which included some everything crackers, soft bread, and preztel bread + butter ($10). We also had the short rib sliders (2), lamp chop lollipops (3), and a burger. The lamb was the best I've ever had thanks to the seasoning and medium rare cook. The short rib sliders dipped in au jus, were also great. My wife enjoyed her burger. Great place to go on The Strip for literally half the price of any other spot. After all this food and 3 cocktails our bill was $111. James did a great job of checking on us. Everyone was very helpful!
