The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked right in front of you. The pan roast is incredible, the oysters are always fresh, and every dish we've tried has been outstanding. The atmosphere is fun and lively, and even if there's a wait, it's absolutely worth it. The staff works hard to keep everything moving while providing excellent service. WORTH THE WAIT! My husband took me there for my birthday and this was such a nice experience. Your in line for x amount of time, but you can get drinks while you're in line. Second time here in nearly five years. Arrived at 5:46AM and was seated less than a minute after arriving in the queue. Despite it being so early in the morning, nearly all seats at the counter were filled. It took several minutes to get my order taken but after placing it, water and bread with butter were served immediately. I ordered the Palace Pan Roast Level 2 spiciness which was also the same dish I got when it was my first time here. Although it took a little over an hour between arriving in the queue and getting my order, you get to enjoy watching the chef make different dishes and sometimes talk with others dining alongside you, even if you're not in the same party. The Palace Pan Roast was as excellent as I remembered. It was hot and spicy. That creamy tomato stew and that hint of brandy work so well together enhancing the chicken and seafood. Having rice with it is a must. I ate the majority of it. It was so filling. The ambiance is great just talking with others, seeing the action in the casino and seeing chef making all the dishes. I would definitely come back. If you have a Station Casinos boarding pass, don't forget to use it when settling your check so you can get your points. $1=10 credits. Had not been here in a very long time and I had forgotten how long the wait was.I was by myself. Everyone was nice but the only problem I had was with was Nora. I had explained that I was diabetic and I saw a few single seats available and if she could seat me as I saw she pulled others out of the line after me. She said with a very rude tone--"if there was an empty seat, I would have seated you already." The food was just as I remembered and very good. Literally my favorite place in Vegas to eat! There will be at least a 45 minute wait to get a seat but once you are seated the food is amazing. We waited 59 mins to sit and that's the only reason they are getting 4, if I could give them a 4.5 I would. Last time it took us 3 hours to be seated but again the food was amazing and we can back knowing the risk. Servers, even though they deal with some crazy customers asking silly questions, are quick and attentive. Had the bowl of clam chowder, only $12.99, that's amazing for the size and the taste. Came back because we loved it so much last time but we brought friends along. My friend does have a shrimp allergy sadly so the only thing he could have is the Cesar salad with chicken. He thought he might be able to eat chicken gumbo but the base uses shellfish. I decided to try the combo gumbo at level 3 and it was very delicious but still doesnt beat the pan roast. Both were made in front of us and came out piping hot! They were delicious! Rich in flavor, lots of meat, and so filling! Price is as expected, especially in that part of Las Vegas, but such a tasty meal. We've tried to eat here a few different times, but the line can get so long and with limited seating, it just didn't seem worthwhile. However, if you can be flexible on your meal time, you can get lucky with a short wait. The flavor had a lot of white pepper flavor whereas GVR is more lemony. GVR is still my all time favorite location. Service: we waited 1.5 hours to be seated. You can't leave this oyster bar without trying their famous Pan Roast Combo. Its this creamy and buttery tomato stew with shrimp, crab and lobster served with steamed rice. Have you ever had a line that took so long to move for a bowl of chowder that you ACTUALLY MADE FRIENDS while waiting in line? This place is open 24 hours, which I found was strange, but aside from an 8 AM semi-line, there's always a line. It's a hyped up soup line that only has 15 seats, and one or two of them always look empty. The signage is very poor. You're only told that you're in the wrong place and the line starts AROUND THE CORNER. Shame on you for thinking you could just walk up to the empty seats and get served! My husband had a great idea - let's get in line at 2 AM, there should be no line by then! Wrong. I could tell he was tired, so I got into line at 12 midnight and I got a seat at around 130 AM then called my husband to come on down. The line was so long I had a fun time yakking it up with a bunch of people in front, and people in the back. The guy behind me pointed to the ground and said "What is that??" and the lady he was with said, "That's someone's t*tty cover!!" (see photo). We were laughing it up. I saved a few people's place in line because they had to go use the toilet. You have an option to make your chowder so spicy that the next morning you're begging for mercy. My husband chose the next level of spiciness down from Demon Level (I made that up). It was very good, but if I wanted spicy, it wouldn't be in a chowder. ALASKAN CHOWDER BOWL $31.99 with chunks of big shrimp and nice sized chunks of lobster, my husband loved his large giant bowl of chowder. NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWER BOWL $12.99, it was good, but my favorite all-time chowder is actually on the North Shore of Oahu, at Haleiwa Beach House, nothing beats their chowder, not even Ivar's. My bowl was smaller than my husband's bowl of chowder. GOOSE IPA bottle $9.00. TOTAL WITHOUT TIP and TAX: $58.50. We had a $50 hotel credit to use, so I used it for this place. Just charge it to your room so the credit can be applied. Would I stand in line again for this place? Maybe if I brought an extra battery pack, some knitting needles and yarn, a headlamp and a folding chair. read more

Oyster Bar never disappoints. This place is always busy for a reason and the pan roast (combo - spice level 8) is hands down my go-to order.
