Funny observation after sitting here for over an hour -- all the Black customers were seated on the outside instead of in the middle. Customer service was disappointing. Cold oysters should come out before the hot food, not at the same time. The sauce they served in the cup was not good at all. All I can say is Freaking SPECTACULAR!!! I am a huge seafood boil person and the flavors are amazing! I went with the WHOLE SHABANG it was a mix of all 3 flavors that they have. The service was great, our server Brayden was very attentive! My wife doesn't eat seafood and they also had options for her. She got the chicken tenders with fries. This is a busy place but we got a table pretty quickly . We ordered and all the food arrived pretty quickly. Service was good food was delicious! You can never go wrong with crab legs and shrimp with sausage , potatoes and corn . Large parking lot and plenty of seating to sit while you're waiting for a table . My only complaint is they need to clean their restrooms . I would come here again though !!! read more

Great food, great price. It was my first time to visit the Boiling Crab and we had an amazing server who explained everything well enough that I was completely satisfied with my decisions! I choose the shrimp and garlic butter with corn on the cob! No spice. (Salt isn't participating at the moment or I would have went with spicy!) I enjoyed it even though the shrimp are served with the head and crawlers attached. It was an adventure! A delicious adventure! It's an open dining room so make it fun. Dare I say best seafood boil in the 702!? This place is nonstop packed so reservations through google is a must. I love hot n juicy too don't get me wrong but boiling crab has a special place in my heart. When you get the choose the seasoning there is an option to get it an everything at once and I'd say that is a must for all the food. Shrimp and crab was fire. Then the deep fried oysters took me out. The only note I'd made is to step it up with the micheladas but I feel like it's honestly whoever makes them lol no biggie tho. Interior is fun. They have sharks hanging from the ceiling. We went to the boiling crab for my brother 34th dinner. It was amazing!! Our server was Edgar! He was very sociable and even knew his basketball. Which my brother enjoyed! The crab legs were so juicy and the sauce was on point!!! My Nana had the fried catfish and she said it tasted like ya momma made it. Very good balance of cornmeal, seasoning and fried goodness. My sister did not enjoy the sausage flavor but the crab legs were easy to pull apart. The start of the show was Edgar! He fulfilled every request and ensured our 3 check party was assisted correctly. I've been going to boiling crab for years and it's one of my go to! I always get the whole shabang for the sauce, but the other sauces are just as good. Their cajun fries is amazing. It's the perfect seasoning and crispness! No other seafood boil place has come close. Service is great a majority of the time. There were a few visits that wasn't so great. Only reason why I rated it a 4 is because their shrimp quality is a hit or miss. It's either you get those jumbo shrimps or the really mushy ones where the skin is hard to peel off. read more

I think the server forgot us a time even though we sat in the center of the restaurant. They ran out of crawfish so we ordered other additional items to make up. If you've ever tried to go to this place, you know that the line is long we learned our lesson after visiting the one in Rosemead. We checked in with Yelp 45 minutes ahead of time I think that's the only way to get into this restaurant at a reasonable amount of time. The seafood boil was delicious. My only complaint is that the shrimp is not deveined and when you get the shell off, it's pretty mushy other than that...Everything else was great for a family of seven. We spent just over $200 but we only needed to make one bag for the family. The kids that didn't eat seafood ate chicken nuggets and fries. Boiling crab does not sell snow crab legs by the pound I asked the waiter for a pound of snow crab legs and they brought me one cluster and charged us $45 me and my mother so we literally paid $90 for two crab clusters. this makes me sad. i've been coming since they first opened. I like boiling crab, but I feel completely robbed. We could've went to crabnspice and gotten their largest crab boil for 2 to 4 people with a pound of snow, crab legs, lobsters muscles, shrimp corn potatoes for $90.
