Walking in, everything looked light, clean and inviting. Low top, high top and counter seating. All of the ingredients are delivered directly from Italy. Even the three wood burning pizza ovens were shipped from Italy! Everything is fresh - there is no freezer. Our meals were delicious. We started with a crisp, fresh spinach salad- full of fresh artichokes, onions, mushrooms and cranberries dressed with a nice balsamic dressing. The Capricciosa pizza was perfectly cooked and topped with plenty of mozzarella, garlic, mushrooms, artichoke, prosciutto and Romano cheese. The Diavola pizza was exceptional. The Calabrian Chillies added an unusual flavor profile and some heat. The other toppings are soppresseta, pepperoni, scamorza, buffalo mozzarella and Romano cheese. Although quite full, we couldn't resist trying dessert- the Cannoli was quite nice. A crisp shell, freshly filled with a mild ricotta cream and plenty of chocolate chips. Service was uniformly terrific. Kayla, our hostess and server, was delightful. She stopped by several times to make sure everything was quite good. One of the chefs came out of the kitchen to make sure which flavor cannolis we wanted (they have several). Overall, we had a great dinner - and will be back. Ciao!

The capricciosa pizza,loaded with mozzarella, garlic, mushrooms, artichokes, prosciutto and Romano cheese was calling my name. So glad I answered. Just delicious.We also got the diavola with mozzarella, soppressata,pepperoni, Calabrian chili peppers, garlic and romano cheese. It certainly lived up to its name. Had a cannoli for dessert. Worth the extra calories Our server, Kayla, was attentive and friendly. The fresh salads, pizzas and desserts were all a taste of Italy without the plane fare.

They were take away-only. We stopped in for dinner and to relax after a wild week. The dining room was about 1/3 to 1/2 full, service was good though somewhat slow. We were in no rush so it did not bother us. It's been tough for them to get a full compliment of staff so it was one waiter, one chef, and one busser. The crowd was nice and the dining room refresh looks good. We began with the vegetable spring rolls which were served wonderfully hot and fresh. So crispy and the vegetables were tasty. We had a cocktail as well. The Mrs had chicken pad Thai with extra peanut sauce. She enjoyed the dish and said the flavors were as balanced and wonderful as she recalls from pre-Covid. I had beef rice noodles with one star spice. This was the first time I tried this dish and I am glad I did. It was so tasty and the spice was just right for me. We also got chicken fried rice to go but we tried a taste before we left and gosh it too was very good. In all, we were there just over an hour so it was not truly slow. We were winding down from a week of weeks so the pace was perfect for us. Looking forward to visiting again. Hoping too that more diners stop in to eat in the dining room and they can get back to full staff.

I savor absolutely everything I've ordered from Big Apple pizza - the pasta and meatballs, the lasagna, the Italian wedding soup, the chicken parm, the stromboli's - everything's a home run! In addition, the service is fantastic -and I find it a testimony to their committment that the owner, Anna, and her son, Chris, have personally delivered to our condo unit and have always been most gracious in accommodating our special requests. There is something very comforting about the homey feel and atmosphere that brings this establishment to a level that their competition can not achieve. Good old-fashioned family tradition and a sense of pride is clearly apparent in their food and customer service. Must say the cheesesteak is the most underrated of anywhere in SOFL. The Hobe Sound location is a cut above any of the locations. Place is run by two sisters from Brooklyn and trust me, they give this the closest thing to Brooklyn possible. If you are lucky enough to get the cheesesteak made by Gia, you are in for a treat. Philly has nothing on this sandwich. I walked in and ask if the cheesesteak was good ? She smiled and confidently said, have you tried my cheesesteak ? I said no but I'll give it a try. I would give it a 12 on a 1-10. In conclusion, if anywhere around Hobe Sound, do yourself a favor. Ask for Gia and just say I wanna try your cheesesteak. We were visiting from Houston to watch our World Champion Astros when we found this place from the Best Western next door. The guys here are awesome! We had our Astros gear on so it was fun poking at the Yankees. Made us feel at home and great banter. And the Pizza. Awesome. Thin crust and perfect. The few minutes allowed me to look at the menu and also see what Yelpers had to say about the restaurant. Based on the reviews, it was not promising. I thought, I am getting the simplest thing on the menu, how can anyone possibly mess that up? I proceeded and ordered a cheese pizza. Less than 10 minutes, the pizza was ready. I was asked if I wanted plates and napkins, and happily accepted the napkins. After driving off, I realized that I should have taking a plate. The pizza looked good. The crust was thin, and light. The pizza had the right amount of salt and flavor. Hot, the dough was crisp. It was a really good pizza. My husband ate his pizza after it cooled down. I ate a slice while it was still hot. When I arrived home, my son had a cold slice and liked it. The next day, we warmed up the remaining slices in the air fryer, and enjoyed the warm pizza. Staff were nice. The restaurant looked clean. The cheese pizza was delicious.
