This is not New York style pizza

It's in a gas station, and he doesn't answer the phone. Probably back in the day Willie's Pizza was something...that was then and this is now. As for New York style, never would this Brooklyn girl approve. Pros: he's a nice guy with a NY attitude who doesn't give a f*** Cons: the guy made my pizza with his bare hands without washing his hands first. The pizza is pretty small The crust is very thin The pizza was burnt The sauce is overly salty He drizzled his garlic pesto oil which I didn't care for $42 was pretty expensive for a pie w 1.5 toppings and a spinach roll Sorry Willie ... I am one and done.

Another trip to see the legend Willie at the She'll station. 49 years he's been making pizza. It's his passion and you know it when you take one bite. Honor and privilege to buy a couple pies made by Willie!

Half cheese. Half pep. Bananas peppers. Willie's pesto oil. (PS: There were 8 slices, but each ate one while talked with him.) $22.

Pizza = Great! No flop! Great crust! We like a crispy hot crust. Good "undercarriage". (If you don't, tell him.) Check out Dave Portnoy's "One Slice. Everyone knows the rules" review. Ambiance = Don't let the pizza gas station fool ya. There is a lot of pizza love here. No tables. Just a few old chairs to sit on while ya wait. (Brought a small picnic basket with plates, napkins, bevs and accoutrements to enhance our fine dining feast...for our dashboard on New Year's Eve at the beach! It was perfect!) Service = Owner and Pizzaiolo, Willie, is a hoot. He is the only employee. He works hard to support his daughter. Worked in NYC Little Italy pizza scene for 37 years. Uses a water filtration system to convert FL water to NYC water quality. (That's why NYC bagel, pizza and bread are the best!) Mind you, Willie is a character from a movie. (He needs an agent!) He may be a lot for some. Take his hospitality with a grain of salt. But we love him! Get there early. He only has so many rounds of pizza dough a day. When he sells out, he sells out.

Great food and great pizza! This is actually located inside a gas station by Juno Beach so it's an interesting ambiance but good service. Support a local business and check out this pizza spot!

Drove up from Miami after seeing Dave Portnoy's review and it definitely delivered! Being from NY I'm always on the hunt for good pizza down here. The pizzeria is located inside the Shell gas station. I cannot tell you how many times I've stopped at this gas station the past without even knowing what was inside. I guess you miss things when you pay at the pump. And don't let it being in a gas station deter you, it would be your loss. From the minute you walk in you're hit in the face with delicious pizza smells. We were met by Frank who was a super cool dude. After placing our order we were told it would be a 1.5 hour wait. I figured there would be a wait so that didn't bother me. We knocked out some errands and went to the beach for a little. Willie himself makes all the pizzas and you can tell he really cares about his craft. The pizza was fresh out of the oven hot and was perfect. It was crispy on the bottom and that garlic sauce is godly. For a reasonable priced pizza that hits the spot this is your place. Not only is the pizza delicious but the guys that work there including Willie are super humble good people. A little tip is you can take your pizza and eat it on the beach across the street which is a plus for me.

Who would think you would get such good pizza at a gas station. Is it as good as some of the better NYC/ NJ, no , but it is the best I've had around Jupiter/ Juno Beach area. Plus Willie is about as entertaining as they get and makes it worth the trip and the wait. You can't order over phone, only at counter and must wait your turn just to order. Expect to wait a least an half hour.

I'm not sure what all to say other than this man is the rudest man ever and I would never buy anything from his little piece of shit store! He told me he didn't sell slices of pizza obviously he does because it's on the menu on Facebook page! He told me he takes food stamps or whatever I had ..... I would give his ad a 0 star if I could!!!!! Just recently, March 2023 health apartment violations !

Willie showing the ropes!

We kept hearing from Jupiter locals about gas station pizza. Lived up to the hype! One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Willie is a trip.

We sat down at the bar where there were eight or so patrons. The dining room was sparse. No concerns. It's a Tuesday night. Probably just slow. Sarah noted the place didn't smell like an Italian restaurant. Bar tender asked what we'd like. Said it was our first visit and we'd like a dinner menu and a drink menu. I was quickly scolded: they didn't have a cocktail menu but they did have a full bar and to just order what we wanted. Got it. I'll have a mezcal old fashioned. 'We're an Italian restaurant, we don't have mezcal' she explained, going on to say they don't have tequilas either. 'How about a regular old fashioned?' Fair enough. An old fashioned, please. As soon as she grabbed a pack of sugar, ripped it open and dumped it into the glass, I knew we were in trouble. On top the sugar, she added a maraschino cherry and half an orange. After a scoop of ice, my drink was served. $15. Okay. I guess. Expectations falling. Sarah ordered a gin and tonic. Bartender complained about their limes, calling them trash as she was squeezing them into Sarah's drink. Right in front of us. We were sitting next to the service bar and an espresso martini was sent back. 'Strong' was the best description Sarah could apply to her drink. Maybe the food is great. We didn't stick around to find out. Between the cocktails and the vibe, I can't imagine us going back. Ended up at Thirsty Turtle instead.

I will only eat their pizza from now on .. and I've tried every pizza place in the area .. they all SUCK compared to them. I'm just upset at myself for not finding them 4 years ago!! Save yourself the grief and just order from Anthony's. And FYi .. I'm a retired Disabled Combat Veteran .. I have no ties or connections with Anthony's .. Upon walking inside, I was warmly greeted by the chef. He asked if I was dining in or takeout. The chef then called someone to come and take my order. The gentleman came to the register, apologized as the system does not allow orders to be made until 11. It was a short wait of two minutes, and I happily waited. The few minutes allowed me to look at the menu and also see what Yelpers had to say about the restaurant. Based on the reviews, it was not promising. I thought, I am getting the simplest thing on the menu, how can anyone possibly mess that up? I proceeded and ordered a cheese pizza. Less than 10 minutes, the pizza was ready. I was asked if I wanted plates and napkins, and happily accepted the napkins. After driving off, I realized that I should have taking a plate. The pizza looked good. The crust was thin, and light. The pizza had the right amount of salt and flavor. Hot, the dough was crisp. It was a really good pizza. My husband ate his pizza after it cooled down. I ate a slice while it was still hot. When I arrived home, my son had a cold slice and liked it. The next day, we warmed up the remaining slices in the air fryer, and enjoyed the warm pizza. Staff were nice. The restaurant looked clean. The cheese pizza was delicious.
