They were churning through the patrons briskly. All were leaving with smiles on their faces. Ordering was smooth and seamless. As was the service throughout. Our food was sound and tasty. I'm normally not a person that post reviews or reaches out to upper management but I honestly feel, you as a general manager deserve to know what's going on in one of your establishments. I'm sending this directly to you instead of posting it online. In hopes to notify YOU of our experience so you can make any needed adjustments. EDIT: I TRIED TO EMAIL THE GENERAL MANAGER 3 TIMES TO PREVENT FROM POSTING THIS ONLINE BUT THE 3 EMAILS I FOUND DID NOT GO THROUGH AS THEY ARE NOT VALID!!! My family and I visited the Spring Hill, Tennessee location today 5/2, like multiple times in the past but this time was different. The hostess was not only rude but choose to tell my husband she had other things to do when he asked her about my daughter's cappuccino and his bloody mary (which we ordered when we were seated and our food arrived before the drinks). The expectation wasn't for her to perform a miracle but to notify the waitress. I understand wait times considering I've worked in restaurants and understand customer service considering I have spent my whole life working in it and currently still do. There was absolutely no excuses for her attitude or demenor considering the fact the waitress didn't once cheek on our table untill after I made a remark about missing meal items which I'm expected to pay for even if I didn't receive them. Not to mention, said waitress was standing next to the hostess behind our booth the whole time. Truthfully, I'm udderly disappointed I even paid $102 for sub par service because we could of had a better experience at McDonald's for a fraction of the price. I hope this helps you to know what's going on in one of your branches and to possibly prevent another family from having this type of experience! This really bothers me because my daughter and husband really enjoy BBB but after today's experience it's really hard to see me and my family returning to this location. We loved the text waitlist and the kids menu was great. We loved the Skillet, Belgian Waffle, Pancakes and Cinnamon Rolls and the Breakfast wrap. The waitress was nice and service good, except we didn't get our waffles after over 5 minutes we flagged someone down to get them, , and then half way through our meal, she tried taking our plates way way too soon, we we're not done eating and she gave us our check too soon. If I want to eat fast food, I'll go To Jack In The Box. We had only a 3rd of the pancakes eaten and she asked us if we wanted a box? Hmm. Then she kept coming back while I dinking my full drink? We love the Florence location and recently moved to Columbia so when we saw BBB in Spring Hill we had to go! We went this morning and checked in at 950. Was told by the hostess it was a 20-25 minute wait and we sat down at 10:30. The food also took a while to come out... my chicken from the chicken & waffles was overcooked and the ice that was in the iced coffee smelled & tasted like freezer burn (I did not eat the ice but when it starts to melt the whole drink tasted bad). The water had the same issue. We don't usually leave places regretting the entire experience, but today we did. 0/10 would recommend. read more

Both our meals were excellent. My husband had the yard work skillet, which he loved, and I had two eggs (cooked just the way I requested) with bacon, toast, and hash cakes (yum). We have had Ryan be our waiter a few times and he always does phenomenal, he's attentive and always making sure you have what you need. Everything kinda just tastes the same and is overall just meh. Visiting family for socal and they suggested we go here on the way to Nashville. They didn't say it was anything special, and really it was. Just overall meh. I got the breakfast crumble, wife got the cathead biscuit, nice of pancakes + bacon, brother and sister in law got other biscuits. For the first word in the name being "big," nothing was particularly big at all. Portions are ok....filling as it's alot of bread, but big not so much. My breakfast crumble was supposed to come with poached eggs....more like slow hard simmered eggs. Yolk cooked hard and in looking at other diner's plates, seem to be the norm. Shame as the dish itself needed the runny yolk as it was sort of dry. It was also supposed to come with tomato gravy, but I got a white looking gravy...which I'm not sure is even tomato. I mean, wouldn't it be a little pink or red? Either way it needed it for acid to cut the heaviness. Wife's biscuit essentially tasted the same except she had some chicken fingers on hers. Had a bit of my niece's pancakes and they were pretty dry and really meh....like bisquick. Small juices for kids is a small cup filled up half way....like wet? Why is this even an option? I'm not going to say the food wasn't good, it was ok. Just kind of disappointing. I feel as though Hospitality tends to get lost on the world every now and again. But it only takes 1 person to give it back a face. I'll start with the bad to get it out of the way: I walked in and was seated right away. Once seated..I wasn't served until 35min later. They were not busy at all. I almost gave up hope. But then... Redemption! In comes Peyton. She asked if I was served yet. Naturally I said no. She apologized. She was very sweet. Took great care of me. Great conversation. Price: id say...fare...it was $18.72 for the food and coffee. Overall: brutally honest..I could get a hardy version of my dish for a cheaper price at a Dennys if one existed in Tennessee. We took our family of eight to Big Bad for brunch after church and had a great time. Checking in online saved us at least 25 minutes, which was convenient. Even though the place was really busy with the church rush, our wait was only about 15 minutes. Once we were seated, we ordered our food and waited about 45 minutes for it to arrive. Our server was very apologetic, explaining that the kitchen was backed up. She informed us that our check would be heavily discounted due to the wait, which we really appreciated. When the food arrived, it was incredible! Everything was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. After we finished, the server brought our check. Originally, it was $120, but after the discount, it came out to $80. Sometimes in restaurants, things don't go as planned, but it's appreciated when the staff makes an effort to make things right. The French fries had that great crisp to them. The breakfast burrito was alright. It didn't have too much flavor and is more of a healthy breakfast burrito which I don't mind. The coffee was ok. Oh how we wanted to love you! We will give you another chance, BBB, but in the meantime: 1. No grumpy hosts. We are already waiting a long time, so don't act like I'm an inconvenience when I check in with the stand after you go over the estimated wait time by 15 minutes. 2. Fix the coffee situation. Cold brew for $4.25 that is the color of tea? Lattes with barely any coffee that look white? 3. Everyone needs more support. Your wait and bar staff looked ragged after the breakfast rush. No one was smiling. 4. Food. The tomato gravy overwhelmed the pricey skillet dish I had making it one note of acidic flavor. Pancakes, really good, but Cracker Barrel is similar and cheaper. Biscuits have a good flavor, but are gummy in the middle making them heavier than need be. Hope these issues can be worked out. Spring Hill needs you! read more

We were offered quicker seating at the open bar -- glad we did -- cool vibe. Good food quality and portion sizes. The bacon is worth the trip! The three cheese omelette was awesome with goat cheese as one of the flavorful ingredients. Service was excellent -- provided by one of the perky & pleasant bar-tenders.
