Breakfast bowl with eggs, sausage, and potatoes

I met up with a friend one morning to have breakfast and have a girls morning! I got there a little early before they opened, so I waiting in the car. When they opened the chef too our order and she was such a delight! I had just gotten blood drawn and needed coffee lol but she also gave me an orange juice to help with my sugars. So super sweet other! I ordered the breakfast bowl with fruit and drip coffee. Delicious! I enjoyed all of it very much! The ambiance is so cute and bright! The gold accents had to be one of my favs! I fully recommend The Southern Baking!!

If you're anywhere near Spring Hill, Tennessee, do yourself a favor and visit The Southern Bakery & Co.! This place is a true gem -- from the moment you walk in, you're met with cozy elegance, friendly service, and the irresistible scent of freshly baked goodness. We tried a variety of their sandwiches and let me just say -- *WOW*. The croissant breakfast sandwich was buttery, flaky perfection with just the right amount of egg and cheese. The turkey sandwich was warm, melty, and full of flavor, and the grilled chicken panini ? Out. Of. This. World. Packed with juicy chicken, gooey cheese just like i like it, and perfectly crisped bread, it was the star of the table -- and the side of fresh fruit with whipped cream was the cherry on top. Each plate was presented beautifully, and the space itself is charming with elegant. It had a peaceful southern vibe that makes you want to stay a while. Whether you're stopping in for a cozy brunch or a quick bite with a friend, Erinn and her team at The Southern Bakery & Co. will absolutely take care of you. Can't wait to come back!

Wow, this restaurant and bakery is amazing! They have something for everyone. Their salads are delicious, their sandwiches are served warm or cold and the pastries are the best pastries I have ever had in the USA! They rival those I enjoyed when living in France. . Everything is so good it makes it hard to choose what to try first! They have excellent customer service and aren't afraid of special request. It has that southern belle charm and each room is setup to make you want to relax, enjoy some high tea and stay a while. This is my new favorite meeting spot and where I plan to take all my clients from now on! They even have two upstairs small private event rooms for parties or 8-15. I can't wait for you to try it and give me feedback.

You can get much better croissants at Costco. Try Whole Foods for better food offerings. They are pleasant and it's clean.

We tried the egg salad, chicken salad, the viral hot cocoa with the peppermint marshmallow, plus a few bakery treats because obviously we have no self-control. That cocoa??? Unreasonably good. I LOVE a good bakery and I am kinda spoiled by over 30 years in San Francisco, where there is a great one every few blocks. I just found all the photos on my phone and realized I had not reviewed this place from last month's mini vacation. And honestly I know we got like 4 things for 4 of us to take home and snack on for the next day or so, but I don;t recall all the things we got EXCEPT for the white almond frosted cake(slice, but in a round shape). Everyone agree it was the one to beat, and not to take the crown, but it was the one that I chose. This reminds me that I need to find all the bakeries near me now that do "cake tasting" boxes and just treat myself every once in a while!!

Even while pregnant I would I order or go to Crumbl weekly (the one in Franklin). However, this location has let me down since it opened when ordering via food service apps such as DoorDash. Tonight was the last straw as my last three orders have either missed cookies or completely replaced cookies without my knowledge. I ordered 2 honey bun, 1 chocolate crumb, 1 chocolate chip, 1 cowboy cookie, and 1 raspberry donut. I received 3 correct cookies out of the 6 i ordered. They replaced the cookies (cowboy cookie, 1 honey bun, and the chocolate chip) that were missing with two classic pink sugar and one chocolate crumb. I contacted my Doordash driver and asked if he was aware of the change of cookies or if they told him they were low on certain types and he said no. So, this means Crumbl gave me the incorrect cookies just for the fun of it which is frustrating. As I can't leave the house often, I think this location has lost my business for a while - or until I can go in person and make sure I get what I order.

It looks great! Upon arrival, we spotted a case of about 4-5 different pies. Some were whole pies and others had slices cut out. There was nobody at the counter and there was not really a sign explaining how they sale. A lady sitting at the window behind the kitchen asked "Do you need something? Are you getting a pie?" oddly, and didn't seem eager to help. Once she came around, we each (a family of three), got a single slice of pie and bottled drink. The total was $35. It felt a little steep for the size of pie and quality of service. Since we were out shopping and it was raining outside, it was also disappointing they only had one table inside to eat at-- which was occupied. I feel they could add another table or two near the front window-- or even a counter against the wall with stools. Service could also be better. I got the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup pie. It was a traditional fudge pie with peanut butter drizzle across the top. It tasted very fresh and yummy. The pie crust had a great taste and the peanut butter was a nice addition to the rich and creamy fudge pie. I would return!

Realistically, I think it ranks somewhere in between, hence the four stars. At $8.78 per slice. including tax, the quality matches the price considering the cost of ingredients these days. Pie Sensations has quite the reputation in Middle Tennessee. It's located on the southwest corner of the adorable, vibrant square in Columbia, sandwiched between A Balloon Shop and Daniel's Barber Shop. You won't see the sign until you walk right up to the store. Delicious smells of baking pies fill this charming, deceivingly roomy space with a counter in front of the tiny kitchen, a display case, and a few tables. Personally, I'm a pie crust hater as it's often brittle and flavorless. But the crust at Pie Sensations is really good, perfectly flaky and complementary to the pies. I actually at the entire crust which is rare! There are two types of pecan pie in this world. Some prefer the rigid, thicker filling. Others like a gooey, almost liquid interior. While I prefer the thicker version, the very runny pecan pie at Pie Sensations was admittedly tasty, although not my preferred texture. It's properly sweet but not overly done with high quality and very fresh ingredients. The chess pie has that quintessential flavor of a southern classic, maybe not sweet enough for my taste but delicately balanced flavor for all palates. Their top seller, the chocolate turtle pie, was a bit too chocolatey for my personal preference. But again, the quality is obvious with a thick chocolate filling topped with caramel and pecans. While I wouldn't drive the hour from Nashville to Columbia again just to eat a slice of pie at Pie Sensations - unlike other remarkable destinations to which I'll eagerly drive three or four hours - I would encourage anyone near Columbia to sample this delicious and expertly made product! If you're in the area, it's a nice stop for dessert.
