I met up with a friend one morning to have breakfast and have a girls morning! I got there a little early before they opened, so I waiting in the car. When they opened the chef too our order and she was such a delight! I had just gotten blood drawn and needed coffee lol but she also gave me an orange juice to help with my sugars. So super sweet other! I ordered the breakfast bowl with fruit and drip coffee. Delicious! I enjoyed all of it very much! The ambiance is so cute and bright! The gold accents had to be one of my favs! We went here for afternoon tea on Sunday, 6/01. The house and surrounding garden/yard are beautiful. The staff was welcoming and attentive without being pushy. The owner was lovely and personable. The food was beautifully presented and tasty. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious and the pastries were plentiful. Even the gluten free options were delicious and moist. I came into this place with my daughter, on a whim, thinking maybe we could get a cookie treat to go. We had no idea we would be walking into such a beautiful treasure. The atmosphere is like stepping back in time to simpler, yet sophisticated days. Downstairs there is a sweet little shop, incredible baked goods, and delicious breakfast & lunch items. We started with an Oreo cinnamon roll and a berry compote croissant. My daughter said it was heaven on earth. Then we went ahead and ordered an omelette, a salad, the best sweet tea you'll ever taste, and a mocktail. Everything was perfect. Behind the scenes, a pianist played wonderfully. Upstairs they have a gorgeous tea room, an ice cream shop, and a balloon bouquet shop. There are modern touches mixed with southern charm and you will ooh and ahh like we did!!!! Loved the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and great. Had the strawberry pancakes and bacon. Pancakes were some of the best I've had in town. Really didn't require much syrup which is a plus. Bacon was thick and cooked nicely. Loved the presentation on the fine dishes for sure. Coffee came with an actual stirring spoon and on an actual saucer. Def. whole experience had the Southern charm they were looking for. One negative is timing, they bring the beverages right before the meal comes. It does take a min. For the food to come out. I have been searching for a place to have a High Tea/Afternoon Tea in the area, and when my out-of-state relatives who got me into High Teas said they were coming into town, I knew we had to try this place out. It did not disappoint and was such a friendly and beautiful place with great pastries, sandwiches, desserts, and appetizers to go along with our tea! The ambiance was perfect and it had the friendliest service! We had a couple of different staff members offer to take our pictures to capture our special memories together, and I know I will cherish the memories that we made today. The Afternoon Tea came with a choice of tea, crackers and a variety of dips, cheeses, and fruit. It also came with a platter of sandwiches and quiche, and then a dessert tier with cakes, brownies, and pastries. Everything was delicious, and we had a lot of food to take home afterwards! Wow, this restaurant and bakery is amazing! They have something for everyone. Their salads are delicious, their sandwiches are served warm or cold and the pastries are the best pastries I have ever had in the USA! They rival those I enjoyed when living in France. . Everything is so good it makes it hard to choose what to try first! They have excellent customer service and aren't afraid of special request. It has that southern belle charm and each room is setup to make you want to relax, enjoy some high tea and stay a while. This is my new favorite meeting spot and where I plan to take all my clients from now on! They even have two upstairs small private event rooms for parties or 8-15. You can get much better croissants at Costco. Try Whole Foods for better food offerings. They are pleasant and it's clean.

We had the distinct privilege of visiting this not so hidden jewel today and my wife and I were highly impressed with everything they have to offer. I had the spinach & feta pastry and my wife the cinnamon roll and when I tell you it they both were excellent. You can't beat the charm of this house. My first visit was solo. Had a breakfast croissant that reminded me of a Starbucks sandwich. It was good, a little pricey. I brought my mom back a few weeks later, it was a bit busier with some homeschool kids doing lessons which made it a bit louder in the small rooms. I had to send a cinnamon roll back, but they got me another, no problem and it was definitely better. The gift shop is cute. read more

Pancakes are a light luscious treat. Syrup offered but didn't need anything to add to the deliciousness. Eggs any way in an omelet, biscuit or croissant are savory and filling. May want to opt out of the dill spread if that is not a flavor you may choose. Bacon crisp but not overdone. Ended with an apple turnover that has a taste I could enjoy everyday. Sweet but not too sweet, flaky crispy crust and a little caramel on top just enough. Chocolate muffin cake to share later. Almost forgot the incredible fruit cup. Cute atmosphere. Went when they first opened, very hesitant to go back. The food was okay. The portions were small and the prices were too high. It is not a bakery. They buy their baked items somewhere else. The coffee is plain coffee, and it was very hard to get a refill. That was my experience. I have not gone back because of it. The employee gets irritated because you are asking for prices as do customers in line. Are you in business to sell or merely a showroom? Price your items. Red flag - you walk into a bakery and don't smell anything The spinach feta cheese "croissant" was heavy, oily, bland and microwave heated which made it more heavy, oily, etc. A bakery needs to have an oven on full-stop in order reheat thinks such as pastries. More signage needed - couldn't figure out if the entrance was front, back, side - actually entered through the wrong door. Trying to support local business, but will not return. read more
