He was a great coach but also personable & professional; he contributed greatly to an overall amazing experience; he also knew exactly how to drive the boat and communicate with us. We did a 3 hour charter with 6 people. We first did the Zup board, which was a great introduction & had lots of different things you could do with it. We then did wake surfing, which was challenging but so fun. Then wakeboarding, which was awesome as well. We didn't have time for tubing, but with the experience we had I want to go again and perfect that wake surfing, as well as go tubing. Captain Dre for the win! read more

Called the location in the morning and sent a text asking what the hours of operation were and was told 11am per the website. Upon arrival at 1050am I was informed that they were not allowing anyone in since they had a previously booked camp. That would have been nice to know since I sent the message at 7am. I had to wait around till then when I could have found a different activity since we were leaving town today. The workers just blamed the owner and said oh well sorry. We had 5 kids ages 10-15 for the NEW floating water park! They absolutely loved this it was their favorite activity while we were in Big Bear! I did not book online in advance and they were still able to get our kids into the next timeslot and let me do waivers on the provided iPads. They even gave us tips on where to park for free across the street at the village. Janine was absolutely wonderful and Brian was on top of everything! I would definitely do this again and again it was super reasonable at $20 per person. 10/10 highly recommend this on your trip this summer. read more

We had 10 people (7 were kids 8-18) and rented 2 boats for 2 hours. We had a blast! Our driver was James and taught our boys how to wake board and wake surf- they all got up! He took us all tubing. We booked a 4-6pm July 1 charter tour and landed with owner Brian as our captain. He was a great host on the lake. He took care of giving our three different kiddos the patience or push they deserved on the ZUP board, surf board and tube. The tube got the most white knuckled smiles out of the boys. We booked a 3 hr reservation for a group of 4 people at 8am. We had so much fun, Eva was our captain and she made the whole entire trip beyond fun!!! She took care of everything from driving, instructing and was awesome on putting together all the toys we wanted to do. We did the zup board (everyone in our group loved it), the wakeboard was really hard for all of us so we didn't get to enjoy it and only 1 person was willing to even try because it looked so difficult. The last hour, we did the tubing & that was so much fun!! Eva really showed us how to have a hell of a time on the lake. We already plan to go again in the next couple of weeks and will book every summer. 10/10 epic experience!!!! Tips for when you go, you can't bring food or drinks except water on the boat. You can put your food/drink items in a cooler but you'll have to leave it at the dock, we were able to bring on a bag of our towels however. read more

My family and I had an AMAZING time here. Just about all of us were beginners to water sports, and Eva was the perfect guide and captain for this experience. She gave great coaching for using the Zup and we all had a blast, especially the 4 year old who had the time of her life. Since we also had an infant on the dock, we were even able to switch people on and off the boat so we could all take turns babysitting. Long story short, Brian is a very patient teacher and his staffs are friendly, but beware of cancellation without notice. Here's the long story: Brain helped our group to fully enjoy water skiing and zup board on our first visit. We really enjoyed the first trip so a week later we came back from the first big bear trip in early August, we booked another session for 7:00-8:30 AM on 9/2 (labor day weekend). Got my confirmation email and even a text on the day of the event date. Since we must arrive 30 mins before our time, I arrived at the front of the Pine Knot Marina gate at 6:30 AM. The gate was closed. I called the office if they are in their office yet, but no one picked up the phone. Hmm... I guess you don't come 30 mins early for the first session of the day? The gate wasn't open until 7 AM. Anyways, at 7 AM, the gate was opened so I went in, but their door was closed. Huh...? So I talked to a man at the gate and he said the last time he talked to Brian, a week ago from 9/2/18, Brain said the boat is down and the man added unless he has another boat to run he probably will not show up today. At this point, I was very confused because this time, I came to Big Bear solely for this. I called the office again because no one knew any other number to call, still got no answer so I left a voice message at little past 7. We waited in our car until 7:30 AM hoping Brain or whoever would come to the office. No one showed up. No one called us back. Very disappointed at the fact that they didn't notify their clients of any changes they had. I spent my time and money to go to Big Bear Lake for nothing. I would've really appreciated notice of cancellation prior to the reserved date. read more
