Second time here - booked 2 hours and was the perfect amount of time - amazing service and experience. Expert boat captain Colin who was also a coach. Rented two Sea-Doos for the five of us. We split up three and two. The youngest was 12 and oldest 76. It was the first time for most. The sea doos have geo-location devices that slow the sea-doos when they are too close together and when at the "out of boundary" area. I think that's a good thing to prevent or minimize any safety issues. The staff was very friendly encouraging. My two young daughters and I decided to book an hour lesson for wake surfing via Jaden. She booked us on their 2024 Mastercraft XT23 which we loved! Very roomy, comfortable and it produced customizable waves for a young girl up to adults. Our Captain was Ryan and he proved to be an excellent wake surfing instructor. Laid back with excellent tips which allowed all of us to get up on the 1st day. We had such a great time that we booked another hour the following day on their older (and cheaper boat). Just as nice of a wave. Girls and I were able to get up once again and get our groove. Ryan encouraged me to experiment while being on the wave. At one point he suggested I pull myself in closer to the boat which allowed me to surf the wake. Seeing I was not relying on the rope to be pulled, he and my daughter encouraged me to "toss the rope" and surprisingly I was surfing the wake unassisted by the rope. What a thrill as it was my first time being on a wave like this. I'd say think of how you skateboard or snowboard and apply the same concepts to maneuver once you manage to get up. Designated Watersports is ahead of the pack with business gained by word of mouth. This is the only rental on the lake that is first come first served. Staff here are SUPER upbeat, pleasant and offer awesome customer service! Communication was beyond EXCELLENT! Great place to rent anything that goes on the water. We rented a Sea-Doo for 3 of us for 1hr and it was super fun. The guys at DW were helpful and the process of watching the video, completing waiver and then a quick recap by them was quick and easy. Follow the rules and you'll be safe and have fun.
