We had full hookup with internet. Laundry rooms are conveniently located and we were close to all the amenities of the town. The price was reasonable and we will return.

We rented 6 sites close to each other and informed all our neighbors we would be celebrating that weekend. All neighbors had no problems with my group except the owners of the establishment. We have been going there for years now and did not expect the owners to have such a problem with us. We were told to be quiet two ours before quiet time each night while our neighboring campers had not heard us. We feel we were targeting for no reason. Would never go there again even though we have been going for years prior. A friend of mine posted a review and the owner deleted it. The owner doesn't like people and should not be working this business. If I could do a negative 5 review I would!!!!!!! Never again

There's nothing quite like falling asleep -- or waking up -- to the sound of water rolling over the rocks. It's the kind of peaceful you can't bottle. I'll be honest, I'm disheartened to hear the owners have sold. They poured so much heart into this place, and it shows in every detail. I can only hope the new owners carry that same love forward and keep the spirit of this campground alive. Tom and Missy have been wonderful hosts -- warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. They've made every stay feel like coming home. Still one of my favorite places to be, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the next chapter brings.

I am someone who goes out camping for 6 months at a time…read moreThis year - 2023 - I was supposed to spend the month of June at Cross Creek RV Resort Cost $ 775 for the months stay Which I had paid in Full In February 2023 my van ( vehicle I flat tow behind my motorhome Van caught fire - put out quickly but still a lot of damage I didn't get it back until middle of June In March I called Cross Creek to explain my issue Although Sympathetic my van fire I was told nothing can be done to adjust my reservation into a mother year They also told me no refunds - not even a partial I simply am out the $ 775 I don't feel as if I was treated fairly My warning to fellow campers is If you decide to go to this campground only put down as much of a deposit as you are willing to loose - if for some reason you can go Death in the family Vehicle break downs Major surgery It's worth saying in previous years I have spent month at this campground and enjoyed my stay Now I'll never be back

There is a beautiful rushing creek. And the dog park is the largest and cleanest one I have ever encountered at a campground (we are full time). There is also a "hike" up the mountain on a gravel road. It's a brutal workout. And it ends with a dead end rather than a beautiful lookout so, don't take it unless you want the exercise and are ready for a steady, steep climb all the way up. It's about a mile long. There are no bathrooms or laundry facilities so, this is a place for folks who are fully contained.

The glamping was really nice-- set up in a livestock trailer (yes, you read that right), but this "red roof inn" was very comfortable-- equipped with a regular bed and kept us warm and dry. While there, we also did check the campsites out-- very nice and remote if you want to get away. The property also has a cottage/cabin that we already think about when the weather gets cooler. Sarah and John took great care of us and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location is great to reach the Smoky Mountains NP or to get into Pisgah National Forest, or just relax by the pond!
