This is good little pizzeria, burger, and wing shop. They have 4 tables, so mostly a delivery place, but the walls are adorned with fun stuff!! The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. The drinks situation is pathetic, expensive, yet pretty much the norm. The pizza we had was good, a three topping of double cheese and double ground beef. Lance had the hamburger and fries. All the food was good, a bit bland for me but the kids truly enjoyed it. Adding some ground pepper-flakes and parmesan cheese filled the gap. The hamburger was again good with a quality bun, and the fries were well done. The 4-stars are based on where such a place lands on the food hierarchy, this isn't your pinnacle of eateries, but will hit the spot on a cold day, or day you don't want to cook. read more

Best. Calzone. Ever. Second time I got the sausage calzone, and it's official...best calzone in Houston! The crust is thin yet flavorful and the cheese....Ooey and gooey, just as it should be. Big Ben's Pizzeria wasn't bad, but I wasn't impressed with what they call a large cheese pizza I ordered while visiting the Area or the cheese calzone with sauce already in it and the extra stuff on the outside, that was an interesting experience to say the least. I wanted to order garlic knots, but they didn't have any!? What??? When I called my order was ready in 20 minutes, which was awesome because we were hungry. I am working in the area this week. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and fried mushrooms. The pizza was very good. The crust is thinner, similar to a New Jersey style pizza. Topping was plentiful. DO NOT ODER FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! i called to place my order and was told it would be out for delivery within 45 minutes to an hour. i was completely okay with that seeing as it was 630pm on a saturday night so they were probably busy. 730 comes around and nothing so i called to politely ask for an eta on my food and was told it was being boxed up and sent out in the next 5 min. the driver arrived very shortly after and was given a 20%tip. i went inside with my food opened my pizza only to see that underneath the cheese there was NO SAUCE! how do you make a pizza without the sauce??? i checked 3 different slices and seen no sauce so i called back where a female staff member answered the phone and i kindly explained to her that i had just ordered from them and noticed my pizza had no sauce. she tried to reassure me that she personally saw them put sauce on it as they do every pizza and i responded that i understand but i'm looking at it right now and there's no sauce under the cheese. she continued to try to argue with me and i simply said okay ma'am i'm not going to argue with you about pizza sauce. if u don't mind can i please just speak with a manager about getting a new one or possibly a refund. she began to scream at me, cursing and threatening to assault me. when she then told me to "bring back her food" if i wanted a "f**king refund. she called me both a "b*tch" and a "hoe" and that's when my boyfriend took the phone trying to resolve the issue. she continued to scream at him saying that she was going to assault me if i ever ordered from their establishment again. when she hung up in my face i called back hoping a different person would answer and a male staff member did whom told me they weren't going to issue me a refund whether i brought back their food or not. this is insane and i've never seen such unprofessionalism in my life. currently waiting on the police to arrive bc i am 9months pregnant and refuse to allow someone to harm my child over $50 with of pizza, wings, and beverages. read more

I ordered a pizza tonight and decided to go with a deal they had. 3 topping XL pizza for $16.99 with a side salad. I chose pepperoni, Italian sausage, and beef and had it delivered. I did some stuff around the house expecting someone to knock on the door or ring the doorbell to give it to me. Finally, I went to grab my phone to call the pizzeria and saw I had a text notifying me the delivery was completed. I checked outside and there was my pizza....on the ground, cold, and made incorrectly. Instead, of 3 meats, it was 2 meats and onions - which I completely HATE. I called the store and didn't provide any sort customer service - said basically they weren't responsible for delivery because a third party company is used AND the ticket says I chose onions which I know for a fact that I did not. The store didn't provide any assistance. I paid $40 (which included a 20% tip and $5 delivery fee) for dinner salad because I'm allergic to onions and would not put them on my pizza. read more

I was really expecting to love this place based on recommendations I received from friends and yelp reviews, but it makes me question how much pizza places have all you people tried aside from pizza Hut & dominos. I ordered the 16" extreme meat pizza. I opened it up, it looked pretty, snapped my yelp pics before diving in, & I was happy. Then I took my first bite and chewed waiting for flavor to excite me, then my chewing slowed and I realized there was no taste. I thought maybe something was wrong with my taste buds. I sip drink and take another bite, nothing. No salty, cheesy, zesty, NOTHING!! Just texture. So I don't want to ruin it for my friend who eats anything. But he took a bite and then made a weird face and said "this pizza is gross" and threw the slice back into the box. I was like, "ok so it's not just me? It's bland huh?". So we try to doctor it up with parmisian cheese, peppers, ranch, hot sauce, basil, salt, whatever we can find in the house. I finished my one piece and didn't even want to grab another. He picked all the toppings off his and just ate the crust. Then we just looked at it. (Mind you we always stuff ourselfs with pizza until we can't eat any more, even cheap frozen pizza) this was just to Terrible. I literally am not exaggerating, the "take & baked pizzas at the Walmart deli for $8 are far superior to this Big Ben pizza. The topping quality was the cheapest I'd ever seen. It was like the stuff they put on 99c Totino's party pizza. The pepperoni were pale, it was like taco bell chicken, the ham/Canadian bacon was like salad bar meat. The cheese seemed like that fake "pizza topping processed product" not real mozzarella, it didn't seem creamy or stretchy. It was just a congealed greasy blob. Barely any cheese anyway. The topping fall off because there is no cheese holding it together. The crust seemed like Cici's crust and the sauce wasn't even as tasty as Hunts spaghetti sauce in the can. An entire $19 pizza was thrown in the trash. I have NEVER thrown pizza away in my entire life. The left overs are always eaten. This was my first & last time trying this place. If you have never tried this place, I suggest you order something very small to test it before you assume it's delicious and order something huge. The worse service I have ever had. Was told that our order was gonna arrive in 30-40 min, after an hour and a half of waiting my girlfriend called to check and they caught a slight attitude about us waiting so long. Once the order arrived, the pizza literally had no sauce, and barely any toppings. My girlfriend called back and asked for a refund and the lady who answered started calling her a b***h and h*e, calling us stupid. Then claimed that he put a regular amount after I stated what the girl told us. And continued threatening after we stated that my girlfriend is 9 months pregnant. They responded with "we don't give a F**k." This is a horrible establishment.
