First heard of Big Blue Sprinklers a couple years ago, but didn't need their service at that time. About a month ago we had a plumber come out and during general conversation he mentioned using Big Blue and how it was a great experience. Ironically within the next couple of days one of our sprinklers turned into a splash pad, so we made an appointment with Desiree at Big Blue. She was very pleasant to speak with. On the day of the appointment, Anthony and Brandon arrived on time and got right to work after inquiring about what issues we were having. They checked all the zones to see what was happening in each. Within an hour they had not only fixed what we called them for, but also some additional things they uncovered while testing out the system. During the process, they explained everything along the way to ensure there was an understanding of what was being done. Anthony even told me how much time each zone needed watering and why. They were also efficient in cleaning off the dirt that got onto the sidewalk and driveway. Sprinkler heads were adjusted, one head was changed out and all damaged drip lines were repaired. We definitely got our money's worth with their service. Big Blue is a company with integrity which is greatly appreciated! 5 stars doesn't even come close to the experience I had with Anthony and Brandon. Fit me in the next morning. Very thankful I called as it was certainly out of my depth going under the sidewalk. I spent the time chatting with them while they worked and showed me everything. Very informative and all about fixing the main issue and any remaining after fix. I stumbled across them about 2 years back when I googled sprinkler companies near me. I called one other right before them and was brushed off with a "well, maybe" response. When I called Big Blue Sprinkler, they replied, "We can sure come out and check out what you have going on." When they showed up, they looked at my situation, assessed it, they quoted me a fair price. They were super professional and very nice, but there was not a great conversation about the work they were doing. I like them so much that when I had to have my sprinkler backflow certified for Round Rock they came the same day I called to help me out again at a super fair price. Repair a broker irrigation line and find a cut off point for a torn up sprinkler head under a large oak tree root. Anthony and Brandon were great. This is a dirty messy type job and take a good sense of knowing irrigation systems. Finding the dead end line under roots is very difficult. But Anthony assured me he would find it and fix in a timely manner. In an hour they had both repairs done, tested the results for leaks. There were none. And they restored all the digging and trenches with care and repairs the yard. They are my go to irrigation guys from now on. And their charge was very reasonable. I can't say enough about Anthony, he is the guy you want to call for your irrigation needs! From start to finish I had a great experience, including the early work with his wife to schedule and bid the work. He followed up the day before to confirm the appointment, and then arrived on time. Rates were excellent, and he was able to service my property just a couple of days after I called. He just completed a wide range of work on my system, including replacing several broken heads, lowering a handful of others, and repairing a pipe leak at a valve (all things that we try to do ourselves and screw up, or rationalize they aren't problems and let them go). He also assessed the whole system and inspected the control box and made sure the settings and zones were correctly mapped. I asked him to repair the rain sensor that had not been working, and he quickly told me that no rain sensor was installed and gave me a solution/price if I wanted to install one. Not only was the work professional and high quality, but Anthony is dedicated to his business and was hustling the entire time. I highly recommend Big Blue Sprinklers. Anthony, Desiree and their entire crew were absolutely terrific. They installed a complete sprinkler system in the pouring rain and even finished ahead of schedule. They also accommodated periodic breaks so our dogs could go outside which was above and beyond and saved us from walking three dogs during the thunderstorms. The new system is working beautifully.
