It's been over a month and I've been able to have one conversation with them and I've received no assistance with the problems with my move. They did send me forms to fill out, after I asked repeatedly for them to email them to me, but considering how I've been treated so far, it wasn't worth my time. I already know they will just ignore me like they've done up to this point Anyways, regarding the move itself, the two men that they sent seemed to be extremely inexperienced. They dented my freezer They broke the leg off my couch They bent the wheels on a craft cart making it unusable. And they broke a wheel off my barbecue cart. Literally cracking the wooden leg of the cart. They had no idea how to properly strap down my treadmill, which surprisingly did not get damaged and they had to call in a supervisor to tell them how to move a glass curio hutch. They were asked to move my furniture first, and then as many boxes as they could fit into the truck They did not do that When they decided they had done enough, they simply got in their truck and left they didn't even tell me they were leaving and there was nobody to meet them at the new house which was of course locked up. I just happened to look out the window and noticed the truck was gone. In my opinion, they should've let us know that they were leaving and asked if there was anything else we wanted packed because there was a lot of stuff that was left behind. This was only 1,000 square-foot condominium, so there was not a lot of furniture to be transported compared to a full-size house The truck wasn't even full and I had so many boxes left behind which put a terrible burden on myself after paying these guys almost $2000. The movers were slow and it felt like they were just trying to fill up that eight hours that they were going to charge me for. This is my third move in two years and this is the first time I've experienced so much damage and incompetence. Idk how they got so many good reviews because my experience was incredibly disappointing.

So in a panic and a ton of humble pie I called them and they not only got me scheduled into their schedule for that day but did an amazing job. Alex and Eli showed up loaded up my apartment and then delivered my furniture and items safely to the new location. I can't say enough about Alex and Eli they didn't complain at all and to show up at an un-scheduled job they were amazing!! I have learned my lesson and will never make this mistake again. My move was cancelled via phone 2 hours before arrival and set for the next day. But what I had booked changed. Instead of 3 men and a big truck, there were only 2 and the smallest truck the company runs. I have at least 3 bedrooms worth of stuff and a full garage. My house is maybe 1/4 moved over and I have to do most of this by myself since the move did not go as planned. I don't think I would book this company again for what happened. This has done nothing but add anxiety to my situation and also my job. I have taken off work to find out my move was cancelled. So, the thing is, that's not time I get back because I used PTO. Absolutely horrendous treatment by the team supervisor. One of his movers was allowed to use the…read morerestroom which resulted in his urine flooding all over my bathroom floor. When the supervisor heard that I was on the phone with his boss he came out hot headed and threatened to throw my property out in the street. When I pointed out he'd just be paying for it because it's insured in the contract I signed with them. He then stormed off and had to have his boss call him to tell him to get back inside to do his job. This kind of blatant disrespect towards a client is unacceptable by any means. Not only did I never raise my voice or swear at him, he actually interrupted a conversation I was already having with my assisted living caseworker to throw this tantrum. I explained that it's common courtesy to clean up any mess you make and that if I had caused the mess I'd go to a dollar store for a mop and clean my urine off his floor. Apparently that's worth quitting and voiding a contract over, and threatening the private property of a client. Great job Ken, keep making your company look good. Honestly, if this is how they move a disabled person assisted by SLP out of HUD housing it's astounding to me they have a positive rating. I imagine it's the labor put in. They took several larger pieces in one go which sped things up. -Disregard owner reply. Literally nobody offered to clean the mess. I was told that they don't carry shammies or towels or mops and Ken explicitly said they would not return to clean the mess, after the super on the phone said the same exact thing. Do not believe the owner replies for a moment, I am the one who had to go get a mop and return to the previous property to clean it. The only reason I did it, is because if I didn't my caseworker would have had to. It's one thing to make a mess and then threaten the client and throw an actual storm-off tantrum, it's another to go into yelp and try to lie about what happened. Even worse every party involved mutually agreed that if you got urine all over someone's floor, accident or not, it's literally just common courtesy to clean it up. They simply refused to do so and asked stupid questions like "what would you do?" Only to have no proper response to "I'd clean it".

The price was reasonable and the movers took great care with our items. Communication was excellent the entire time. They had the insurance needed to unload at our condo (Riverstone) which was a plus as well. They were efficient, picking up, loading and unloading within a 4 hour time frame. Everything was great in the beginning. But, after my belongings arrived. I found rust on things…read moredue to a leak in the roof of the trailer. Also, I was charged $500 for storage. I emailed the day the trailer left to give them my address then as I waited for my belongings to arrive. Day 4, 5, 6....then we called. My trailer had arrived at its destination. No one ever called. I will admit - it was cheap, convenient, and I had such high expectations. But the rust, the extra charges, the inability to call/email/contact me is highly disappointing. Be aware - pack your things with protective coverings! Call them everyday to eliminate the extra charges for storage. Eh...lessons learned. BTW - we have photos of the rust on the protective coverings but at this point does it really matter?
