They had to drop some off at a south hill location and then drive out to our rural home to drop off the rest. They were great guys, on time and worked hard to get everything moved. Everything began with Audrey who was able to work us in for today 9-12. The two young men SJ AND ROD were respectful and courteous. I felt as if they were family. My son had lots of computer equipment, gaming systems and drones that were handled with care. Worst $4000.00 local move ever! Absolute ZERO Stars! They destroyed so many items out of anger because of the heat and lack of help, their other half employee had to go to court 1 hour into the start of the move I was told without warning. So many items were scratched, destroyed, irreplaceable items, absolutely the worst experience of my life with this company. And to boot their insurance was useless!! If only I could go back in time! I hired Ace after they told me how great they were, would wrap everything, and on and on they assured me my packing would be stellar. They didn't wrap anything, it was the worst truck packing I have ever seen and I have moved A LOT! My sofa is off white, but now brown, it was not wrapped (I have to have it professionally cleaned). I saw them loading my solid wood table onto the sofa and had to tell them it will break my sofa. I asked them to tape my end table as it had keepsakes inside, they taped the actual end table without wrap! They tried to fill a three-hour window with an 800 sq ft apartment, so instead they drug out an entire hour then realized they wouldn't fill three, so they threw in the rest to fill two hours. I've never seen a packing job like this. They were to use my blankets to cover then to wrap as I was told was their normal practice, they sloppily used my blankets without wrap. Do not use this company. The owners excuse was they are new. read more

We have used Ace moving 4 different times and I would not use any other. They are the best, we had an emergency with refrigerator being to big to get out of kitchen after remodeling, The appliance store delivered new refrigerator but couldn't remove old one . I said well I know who can. I called Ace Moving and Josh said I will have guys there in 30 minutes. He set Brandon , Quinton, Eli , These 3 guys worked together so good , knew what to do and removed old refrigerator and put in the new one. What a great team and company. Jesse and his crew were excellent. His employees handle our belongings as if they were their own. They packed our 1800sqft home and garage. They also loaded two vehicles all in about 10 hours. They took our belongings from North Idaho to the Tampa Florida area and unloaded it at our storage unit. It took almost a year to have our house completed so that's the lag in rating. I hired Ace Moving Company and storage while I was still in California to help me unload my UPACK storage pods. I had to call them on several occasions to make changes to the date and time that my cubes were to be delivered, Jesse was always very helpful and not annoyed at all that I had to make several changes. Once my pods were delivered, Jesse made arrangements for his men to come a day before the scheduled date. I couldn't be happier with their courtesy and service. read more

We used Ace moving to move my 81-year-old mother recently. The two young gentleman were kind, courteous and were very good at moving all of her items. There was a little incident with her TV and the owner of ace moving took care of it immediately !!actually showing up at my mothers door to check on her and the TV and then returning with a brand new TV ! needless to say my mother was thrilled with the customer service and I would use Ace over and over again truly they are the best moving company in Coeur d Alene!!! They showed up on time and did get me moved but assured me all my stuff would fit in a 26' van, which it did not so I had to rent and additional trailer. There was one experienced mover and a new worker on the two man team. They unfortunately broke the door off of a large expensive armoire. I have contacted them several times to get it fixed and they have not responded. They also failed to use the mattress covers I specifically showed them to use so my mattresses were dirty. My white leather sofa had dirty scuff marks where they didn't protect it in the van. I would not recommend them. read more

Hired Ace for my move. Gave them very specific details - barn full, shop full, need extra help unpacking to rafters when arrive, need car towed/moved, house full of furniture and boxes, etc. very detailed. Jessie quoted me $1800 over the phone. I told him by top budget was $2000. He said that was no problem. After they unpacked the truck (broke two of my favorite pieces of furniture and dumped a box of liquids all over my electronics and art) I was handed a bill for almost $5000. His response was "well it just took longer than we thought" I was told it was $250 an hour. It was a 12 hour job. Max should have been $3000. We settled on $4000 but IT WAS NOT WORTH IT. ACE Moving moved my household goods from Coeur d'Alene to Hayden. They started the day poised and composed, but as the day wore on they became irritated, impatient, and impolilte. When moving my elliptical trainer they damaged the hardwood floors in the house I was moving from. ACE Moving was unwilling to take responsibility. The cost was $2076 to me. Had they used good judgement in moving this item the problem could easily have been avoided, but they were in a rush to get the job done. read more

Ace Moving was contracted to move furniture from one residence to another. An itemized, detailed list of furniture to be moved was provided to them via email. Specifically mentioned was 5' HON office desk. This desk was in excellent condition and being used in an office environment at home. During moving process the desk required disassembly to go through doorway which is easily accomplished via "cam lock fasteners". The personnel struggled with these fasteners and eventually ceased disassembly stating "I hate cam locks" and proceeded to try to carry desk out partially disassembled at which time undue force was applied and and the end of desk was broken away from desk. The personnel stated "I'm sorry, don't worry, this will be repaired or replaced" then volunteered "we have a good repair facility". This exchange was witnessed by both of us and we felt they would take care of us. This company was chosen because of advertised "we are a full service professional moving company, licensed, bonded and insured". Ace Moving and Storage has since refused to replace the furniture after stating "they could not repair piece". They stated "is not repairable and we will not cover that furniture piece", then proceeded to dispose of furniture so it could not be returned to us for repair. Now we are out of any office desk to perform our work. Would not recommend for any reason. read more

They showed up on time, used runners to protect our floor, and made sure our furniture and door jams were covered with blankets so they wouldn't get any damage. They removed the glass from our tables and loaded them separately so they wouldn't get broken. They even moved our pool table and hot tub. When we got to the new house they asked where we wanted everything and put it where we wanted it. These guys were very professional and very nice. They went above and beyond what I expected and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs movers. read more

It was a total blind hire based on the only review on Yelp.com for loading our PODS for our move to out of state. Jesse and Travis were on time, hard-working and very professional (matching T-shirts with company logo and all), and VERY patient with my husband who can be difficult to work with (sorry honey).
