Went there today 15 April 26. I ordered a single with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapenos and mayo. After a half hour wait, because they were out of hotdog buns, which my wife ordered, while the other worker ran to the store to get buns, they brought out my order, A single with no cheese with catsup pickles onions. Really big disappointment. First of they don't use American cheese they use velveta on their hamburgers, that was my biggest no no. Then when I got the food it all came in a really small bag and it cost me $37 and some change for 2 burgers 2 fries and onion rings and cheese curds. There were 4 onion rings in the container 4 that's all. The fries maybe 10 in each container and the single burger was the size of a child's burger and the triple burger was small too. The price was crazy and they didn't take credit card over the phone only in person, but yet the main street pizza that is owned by the same person can take my card over them phone. Makes no sense what do ever. I won't order from the burger joint anymore way too much and too greasy and not big enough portion for the price read more

This place is amazing! Certainly not the choice if you're counting calories but holy cow is it worth it! The burgers and fries are better than five guys in my opinion. They season them generously and burgers always dressed up and not skimped on. I highly suggest getting valveeta cheese on your burger, it's life changing haha. This is probably the best burger in the Marquette "metro" area. Admittedly, I haven't tried out the burger at Marq or the Delft, but dollar for dollar I would put BBG against any burger in the area. The meat is fresh, there's a nice selection of toppings and it's made well. It actually reminds me quite a bit of 5 Guys but I think I prefer this one. If you are a fan of Five Guys, then this is a place for you. Both the burgers and hand cut fries seem almost identical between here and five guys. Make sure before ordering and going up to the register that you know what size you want, and exactly how you want it. The person at the register (may have been the owner?) wasn't rude about it, but kindly told us that if you don't tell him exactly what you want, it will come with just meat and the cheese choice (so include your ketchup and mustard too if you want it!). Thought we'd take the drive to Harvey to try this place out after having the new place in Marquette. My husband loves his burgers. It wasn't horrible but we didn't love it either. I had a grilled cheese. It was something like $4.50. Two pieces of thin white bread and what I'm sure was a single piece of American cheese. Kinda dry. Hubs got a double cheeseburger and we both also go fries and a pop. Skip's burger was way over cooked. I said it was burnt he said it was just really well done. Fries were hand cut but those were burnt and dried out to. Over all the food was a C- and we found ourselves wishing we'd just have ordered a pizza from the Main Street pizza that is next door. We were told it's the same owners. The whole place was pretty messy and dirty and the workers looked a little rough. It took a bit for our order to come out but I think the staff was outside smoking. They were gone for a bit and left the door cracked and we could smell cigarettes. If we lived out there and needed something quick I guess this place would do in a pinch but we won't make the drive there for burgers again. Maybe the Main Street though. Today was my first time eating here. The staff was very helpful and patient while we decided what we wanted. They even went as far when we came back to pick up the food to explain that the bag needed to remain open for a few minutes to avoid soggy fries. My boyfriend and I agreed it was the best burger we ate in a long time. We both finished within minutes of receiving it. My daughter didn't like hers, but she tends to be picky. Food was great, customer service was awful. Just some kids behind the counter acting like kids. I asked for a couple different things and was blatantly ignored. It was rude. Since we ate in you could see everything that goes on and it was just incessant immature behavior.
