I'm going to be very honest with you. I have been to this restaurant now several times and what was at first a five star experience has in my estimate lost a little bit of its pizzazz.. I don't know whether I've become accustomed to the food and perhaps I'm simply bored with the menu or whether the bar has lost its luster from my very first experience here. The food is precisely what it says, which are chicken wings although I will tell you that the hamburger is actually a very good alternative and frankly because of the name is not necessarily featured, but it was actually quite good. The chicken wings are done well, but you have to understand that I was a Frank and Teresa's Ankur bar chicken wings consumer over 50 years ago and so it is always difficult for me to give the same kind of grade for someone else. The service is reliable the bartenders are very quick and taking order however, their skill is not equivalent which is one reason that I'm not as bullish on this restaurant as I used to be. The ambience is simply a sports bar. Nothing unique or outstanding to be honest. Well kept clean. I go to the other one in Houston now I ordered the 12 tenders for a dollar. My bill came to be 30 something dollars. I honestly wanted to ask for a manager to get my money back because it just didn't add up . The waiter. Told me after I paid that lemonade are $6.50 plus $2 extra. He didn't tell me that you had to pay for refills so when he gave us another lemonade, I spent $14 on two drinks mind you this is non-alcoholic... he said strawberry lemonade is a bar drink so they charge extra. I'm a bartender and I never heard of that ever!!! then we were charged for sauce. $3.75.. No communication skills at all. Probably wont be back. Dry! Dry! Dry! We stopped coming here awhile ago because of the lack of cleanliness and wait times. However, sometime has passed so we decided to give it another shot since it's close to home. We should have just stayed away. We came at 8pm, so it wasn't too busy but the wait time was EXTREMLEY slow and the waitress at the bar was trying to be friendly but what she said came off unprofessional. After waiting awhile, we finally received our wings and they were SMALL AND DRY! For the price, we were extremely dissatisfied. Never been to this establishment before but decided to have wings and beer... walked in and sat at the bar... waited for 10 min or so for service or get a menu or asked if I wanted a drink? I saw a worker just standing there watching tv and asked if he worked here? He said yes. I than proceeded to ask for a menu, and he gave me an attitude and said, well you just sat down. I asked to speak to the manager and turned out, he was the manager. I was so disappointed in the service and the attitude of the manager. We stumbled across this place after getting gas one evening and were pleasantly surprised. They have a good variety of food, and everything was hot, fresh and tasty. Everyone finished their plates which never happens. I ordered the fries with hamburger, cheese, and cilantro on top and the flavors mixed so well together. I think this might be our new favorite spot! Only negative is they don't serve Coke products, but just order beer instead lol. read more

If 3 and a half stars were available I would do that. My biggest hang up was that the wings weren't that good and I feel that should be their specialty. I tried the mango habanero boneless and the buffalo medium boneless. The medium had good flavor but the sauce lacked consistency. The mango habanero wasn't spicy- so disappointed in this one. Now for the great parts...the bacon Mac loaded fries were fantastic! Nice crispy waffle fries that hold in all that delicious gooey cheese- yummm! Super mad. They messed up mine and my coworkers order the first time and instead of a refund they offered us a free meal. So we go back today and use the free meal and my wings are messed up again. Their "mild" wings are just PLAIN wings that are slightly buttered per the conversation I had with whoever answered the phone..... am I the only one who thinks mild is supposed to be mild spicy???? I never ordered mild wings that were plain buttered...... so I call and tell them hey my wings are plain again and the dude said "yea I usually explain that to my customers that order them" but he was literally standing there when I ordered them and said nothing. We will not be going over there again and the wings are crusty and DRY AF! Tastes like they just refry them or something or old grease and overcooked. Excellent service and delicious food! Been wanting to check out this restaurant/bar for a while now. The garlic parm wings were amazing; so much flavor and cooked to perfection. The standout items for me were the ELOTE FRIES (FIRE) and the FRIES OREOS. the fried Oreos were so good we had to order an additional plate of them! I love how they provide a kids menu for families that dine here. My little ones enjoyed their food and my hubby enjoyed watching the game and sipping on a beer! Will definitely come back. read more

Cool lil spot for beer n wings. Came a few times with my wife and it was good enough to hit the spot. Beer is ICE COLD which I love and the wings are a good size. Wings are big and ready to eat! Super big menu and lots to choose from, which means everyone is happy! I've only gone to lunch here therefore I always get the lunch menu items. The prices are pretty steep here, but lunch seems pretty fair. I didn't like the garlic parmesan wings as it felt just slabs of butter. The lemon pepper was pretty tasty! The fries are super fresh. I didn't like their spear fried pickles. The type of pickle they use is so difficult to cut with your teeth or a knife.The texture is also very different , as the only way I can explain it is that the pickle is very plump. Becareful because the roof of my mouth is blistered sore from how hot it was. In all, the food was fair. One thing that I still feel they need improvement, as this is my second time here, is the service. When I initially came here, the service was young and naive, like it was their first job and were being trained. We were very patient. Today, service was more abrasive. Our experience was ok for a new restaurant. They have some things to work out for sure because 85% of our food came out from the kitchen cold. The Spicy Ranch Lemon Pepper and naked tenders were the only hot foods. And the naked tenders only bc we sent them back. The margarita's were too sweet to me and I LOVE a sweet strong drink. They're not very strong either but they were $4. We may come back but it'll be a while once they adjust. We came in on a Friday at 6:45 and it was packed!
