We paid in full for appliances that were supposedly set aside for us in their warehouse. Instead of delivering what we bought, the company chose to sell those exact items to another customer. Ours were not delivered and the manager and sales associates attempted to rectify the situation by offering us cheaper, lower end items that were in stock. The story I got from everyone I talked to there about the situation was different, and all full of excuses, never attempting to offer a reasonable solution. Be cautious of the good reviews you see. The front end experience can look impressive, but when it counts, after they've taken your money, they fail to honor the sale. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

I gave 4 stars because they only have two consultants at the Ann Arbor location so it's a week or more for an appointment. Aside from that I highly recommend Ferguson.

I was missing a receipt for a return I was making yesterday and the gal there walked me through the process of pulling up my receipt with my debit card on their little kiosks so I could be sure to get the full price of the items on my return. I also had very nice interactions with staff on the floor, both from just checking in to see if I needed any help to pulling a ladder over and climbing up to get a hanging solar lantern I wanted off the top shelf. My biggest nitpick is that I wish they had a garden section cashier and exit. It was such a slog pulling bags of dirt and pea gravel to the registers all the way into the center of the store and then back outside to the parking lot. I like the way their competitors have it structured where you can bypass inside and just get everything you need in the garden center and be on your way. My previous review stated, "I love any store where I can get tulip bulbs, a new bird house, a winter hat shaped like a Christmas tree, a new cookie sheet and a loaf of Zingerman's bread" and all that still rings true. But these days I also add national parks merch, gear for my dogs, holiday decor, kitchen gadgets and cookbooks and, perhaps most exciting for a Polish broad like myself, a variety of Polish pottery pieces. In the spring and summer months I can be found perusing peony bulbs for my garden, hummingbird feeders, bird seed and squirrel proof bird feeders, planters, plants/starters for my veggie garden, pest control and fertilizers, plus a variety of lawn decor and sculpture pieces, etc. Some things can be kind of pricey but you truly get what you pay for. Even after years out in the elements everything I've bought for my yard here is still in amazing condition, my plants from here always yield the most delicious fruits and veggies, and the little birdies are so happy with the snacks we provide them from their bins.
