This is how a pub crawl should be done. Fun, energetic, quick witted tour guide leading you through the streets of a city with stops at some great music clubs along the way. This was our second tour of the day - the earlier one being a bike tour. Obviously, one would expect a music and drinking tour to be more fun then a bike tour, but it comes down to more than biking in the heat v. drinking and listening to music. Bike tour guide was a nice enough guy, but had almost no interaction with the group unless someone asked a question, and showed no enthusiasm and there were long portions of the tour where we were just sitting in a location. On the other hand, Christy (pub crawl tour guide) was a riot. She was joking with everyone from the beginning, did her best to get to know a little bit about each person (or at least, each group of people), knew her stuff, and when she decided to park it for a while at a given location, there was music and alcohol there. I have 3 minor complaints, though they aren't enough to deduct a star. First, the meet-up location was very clear but no one met there. We got there on time and waited for 5 minutes and no one showed. Eventually, we walked outside the meet-up place where we saw a group of women for a bachelorette party and asked them if they were with the pub crawl. One of them pointed our Christy for us. According to Christy, the problem was no one but us followed the instructions. Second issue was the size of the group - very difficult to hear everything Christy was saying with such a large group - probably a couple of dozen. On the other hand, we signed up late and if the group wasn't so big, we wouldn't have gotten in. Finally, Christy mentioned we'd spend about 30 minutes at each location, but honestly, it felt like more. Anyway, like I said, these aren't major issues. Besides her enthusiasm and sense of humor, Christy also took us to some great spots we otherwise may not have found or may have skipped entirely. Each location had some drink specials going on - either happy hour or due to being a part of the pub crawl. She really did pick some of the more fun music places - highlight was Bourbon and Blues Bar in Printer's Alley; what a great New Orleans style blues club in the middle of Country Music USA. My girlfriend and I had a blast - this was definitely the highlight of the weekend and I am sure we'll do it again if we're ever back in Nashville. read more

Because of the events occurring in the city the night of our pub crawl, Christy had issues with traffic and arrived 30 min later than planned. Everyone around kept looking at their watch. I must admit I was a little irritable but when she got there... I was in a great mood in no time! She is hilarious, genuine, knowledgable, charismatic... Just a blast! Her knowledge and sense of humor made for a fantastic evening and I would literally do this multiple times over! We visited 5 pubs/bars and even gave us drink recommendations. We had a group of 7 ladies in town for my sisters' 21st birthday party looking for some fun and this tour did not disappoint! Christy provided us with a lot of laughs, backstage knowledge and fabulous memories. The tour lasted about 3 hours but it felt like it flew by! Ours consisted of about 17 people and Christy took the time to have us all introduce ourselves and announce if we were celebrating anything or in town for certain occasions and from where. By the end of our tour, we all felt less like a group of strangers but more like a group of old friends carrying on through the city. There are prearranged drink specials in most of the 4-5 bars we stopped in which helped to keep the trip affordable, to keep it easy I would recommend bringing cash to easily tip the bands that are playing live music. My group booked a pub crawl for my friends birthday and we had heard good things and were excited. We arrived at the meeting place at 2 and the restaurant host told us that the tour had been cancelled due to "inclement weather". By the way, it was only drizzling and had stopped raining completely shortly after. The website says rain or shine also. My friend who booked contacted Christy, who did not give a reason for canceling and was unapologetic. She also did not reach out to us prior to our arrival at the bar, claiming there was no contact info. We booked through an app, so that could have been true. However, more efforts should be made for organization and communication. It is unprofessional to leave your name and number on scrap paper and make the restaurant notify us of the cancellation upon our arrival. We did get our money back promptly from the app and she did offer to go back out hours later. However, we had already planned our day out and were not able to do it. read more
