I have been here with my husband several times and we have had several items from her delicious menu. Today I just had to have her Chicago style dog complete with sport peppers. So fresh with the pop of the hot dog in your mouth. It was sooo freaking yummy! Today they were out at Lehigh Regional Medical Center Hospital in Lehigh Acres. Tee is very mobile. Let me tell you, this is one of the best schnitzels I have had anywhere (including in Germany)...the pork was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside and juiciness on the inside. We wanted to explore Pine Island and came across their excellent Google reviews. As we were driving in, I began to worry that the hours listed on Google for their location were incorrect. But we went all the way to the end of the dark Marina tonight, and there it was! We ordered the Crabby fries, the Smashburger in the Pastrami Reuben. One of the reasons I think their food is so delicious is that they make many items in-house, such as the amazing queso that came with the fries (which might have been the best fries I've ever had- no exaggeration). They prepare the fries in a unique way that doesn't involve deep-frying them, unlike most places. They also smoke their pastrami, and the Pastrami Reuben sandwich was also delicious. We also both enjoyed the Smashburger. An upgrade to bun might be worthwhile, but it was damn tasty. We also had a lovely chat with one of the managers?, Matthew. He was super knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the restaurant. It was dark when we went, but I'm sure it's a beautiful view of the water and the marina during the day. I wanted to get my Street Taco on...which we all know are almost universally open faced, showing off their various savory contents...and are folded & consumed in a handful of little delectable bites. I ordered the tacos de birria...which is a beef stew bathed in a melange of chiles and spices, giving it a deep, red hue. The stew's tender, juicy meat is stuffed into an extra soft corn tortilla stacked under the first, plunged in the thin layer of fat that floats to the top of the Birria, then thrown on the hot griddle...giving them their Yelp-worthy look and addictively crispy exterior. They are served with a juicy lime wedge, flecked with diced onions, a sprinkle of fresh cilantro and ooey gooey oaxaca cheese.
