One of my favorite Mexican dishes is Birria. Birria is traditionally cooked with goat or beef meat,…read moreseasoned with a blend of chilies, spices and herbs. It is slow-cooked until tender and served with a side of consome. Birria, in Spanish was originally meant as "Something of little value". The origin was probably developed because the original recipe was using tougher, less desirable cut of meat, like goat. I ordered a Marucha Birria Ramen from Taqueria Las Amiguis for lunch! It came with a bowl of Birria consome with ramen noodle. 3 Birria Tacos with cheese, cilantro, onions and lime with hot sauces. First, take a sip of Birria consome with Ramen as a savory prelude. Next take the Birria taco with cheese, dip the tortilla into the consome for extra flavor. They are topped with lime, cilantro and onions. Some time I paired with a cold beer or aqua fresca. For me, the combination of savory consome, tender meat, crispy tortillas, Ramen and vibrant toppings is also an experience I enjoyed! The Birria Ramen from Taqueria Las Amiguis is excellent and will order this again and again! By the way, I make quick Birria Ramen lunch with many variations at home. For the last Birria Ramen, I used a Trader Joe's Beef Birria, Ramen with lime, cilantro and onions. I simply slurp the noodles like nobody's watching. Dunk the tender birria into the consome. Repeat until the bowl is empty!

Y'all. This food truck is a gem in Leigh Acres and the fort Myers area. I found them on Instagram…read moreand dang am I glad I did. I love tacos and could probably eat them daily. But these birria tacos are hands down the best tacos I've ever had. The flavor was so savory and rich. The quality of the meat was top notch. And the portion was excellent as well for the price. Service was good as well. There were a few tables where the truck wt the location of the day I was there, not sure if that is a normal thing or not. I understand why they sell out often because truly these are incredible. Don't miss this whenever they are in your area.

First, I have to say the customer service needs serious improvement. I called ahead to place an order, but instead of being properly assisted, I was left on the line while the staff continued to take other in-person orders. There was no courtesy hold or communication, which felt unprofessional and frustrating. In total we had to call MULTIPLE times and was on "hold" for more then 10 minutes. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I understand how busy things can get -- but basic customer service goes a long way in keeping guests satisfied. Secondly, the pricing is a bit extreme, especially when it comes to something as simple as the Hot Cheeto bag. You are paying $6 for a 1oz bag. You can get a whole party size bag of hot Cheetos for less. I get that food costs are rising, but for what you're getting, it feels overpriced. Also, to add that I have tried this food truck multiple times and this occurs every time. The food is wonderful but it is going to lose business if there is not a change. If you are going to offer a phone service then please have it functioning properly. Overall, there's potential here, but unless they improve how they treat their customers and take a second look at their pricing structure, it's hard to justify coming back or recommending the place to others. In today's competitive food scene, service and value are just as important as flavor.

I didn't drink but service seemed fast and the staff were very nice. There were 2 food trucks that were there, which was nice. A lot of covered/indoor seating as well. I tried this place twice. The burger tasted like it was shipped in precooked from New Jersey. I had no choice but to give it another shot. I told the waitress about my previous burger experience. She said that she never had any complaints about it. Maybe she thought I said Compliments. They have very few items to choose from. We all ordered some form of chicken; a salad, two Sandwiches, and a quesadilla. They were all horrible. The chicken was dry AF! The bill was hundreds of dollars as we found out the Margaritas were $25 each! The waitress was less than enthusiastic about being there and told us later that they she was making them doubles w/top shelf liquor- to pump up the bill I assume. Airport food has improved dramatically everywhere except RSW. Next time I will just grab a Pub Sub from Publix! They obviously do not actually cook anything here -just reheat dry tasteless frozen food that will have you regretting not asking for a refund on the long flight home. We landed in Boston where you can find Prime Steaks, fish at Legal Seafood, a Lobster Roll from Kelly's, or a legit top 3 Boston pizza from Santarpio's. Step up RSW! Also avoid Dewer's restaurant- same bad food. I don't know how the new Shula's hamburger stand is but the previous Shula's Steakhouse did not even offer steaks. I was served raw steak tips my first visit and a dried out tasteless Philly Cheese steak on my second and last visit.
