If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I was having a BBQ for a welcome picnic for my family and friends the day prior to my wedding. I never tasted Big Kev's BBQ before and was relying on yelp reviews. He 100% came through. I'm very critical about BBQ and have tasted BBQ at multiple places down south (my fav being SC BBQ) and his was definitely up to par!! We ordered ribs, brisket, and chicken. My favorite was the chicken, but my guests were raving about the ribs and brisket. We ordered for approximately 150 people and everything came hot and perfect (he delivered about 1 hour away). I wish I was closer (I live 7 hours away) because I would get all my BBQ catered through him for any event. He's very professional and dropped off food on time! read more

Big Kev's BBQ is insanely good!!! I stumbled across this food truck while searching on Yelp after visiting a resort in the area and my god was it good! First of all, the people are very nice, and they have a good amount of picnic tables to sit at and eat while watching the traffic drive by. As for the BBQ , it was amazing. THe baked beans are some of the best I have ever had, the meats (I got the sampler) were all great. The ribs were tender, flavorful and worth the drive alone. Come early as they run out of everything really early. It's a trailer by the side of the road. Food is excellent and worth going out of your way for it. Everything we had was delicious and worth the price. All dining is out doors, maybe not a great spot if it is raining, and they may not be open through the winter as it seemed like a seasonal place so I would call to make sure that they are open before you go. BEST BBQ place that I have ever stumbled upon with my boyfriend on our travels. The meat was perfection melt in your mouth goodness. If I ate that everyday I would be perfectly fine with it. The staff is super friendly and the fact that it's just at a stop on the side of the road just makes it even better. My boyfriend and I split the sampler which is a little of everything from their fall off the bone ribs, succulent brisket, to their smoky pulled pork. We also got a brisket sandwich with the hot BBQ sauce and a side of corn bread which tasted delicious and lastly we got the fresh squeezed lemonade which made it feel like a complete summer BBQ meal. Big Kev's is the best BBQ I have eaten outside of Texas. We rented a lakehouse in Bethel NY for the weekend and ordered Big Kev's BBQ for dinner. We had ribs, chicken, brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, corn bread and Cole slaw. We were all raving about the entire meal. My favorites were the ribs and pulled pork. The corn bread was out of this world. Call a few hours in advance to order for larger parties as he cooks the meat in 3 hour intervals. Some of the best BBQ pork I've ever had - actually might be the BEST. We were on our way back to NYC and saw this on yelp. SO worth the detour. one work HEAVEN!! We rented a place about a mile from here, and we saw this place from the road, it was packed. We went twice in 3 day period lol The first day we went the chicken had sold out! Big Kev's is located at a flea market on Route 17B at the Smallwod traffic light. They are open Thursday's thru Sundays. I've only had their brisket, because its so amazing. The meat is perfectly slow smoked and is delicious. It is juicy with perfect texture Hours later, you can still taste the smoky flavor in your mouth. I've been told that their pulled pork and ribs are fantastic as well. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Its about a two hour ride from New York City and five minutes from the site of the the original Woodstock festival. A great summer drive to pay your respects at the greatest counter cultural event in history and the best BBQ for hundreds of miles around. read more
