The staff is friendly and helpful without being overbearing. They give you your space while you shop and are always happy to answer questions. The last time I went in the fall they had free hot tea waiting for you just inside the door. I always end up finding something to take home, and can circle the store 3 or 4 times and still find something that I had previously overlooked. I've popped in and out of this store for years, and it never disappoints. It's Berkeley Springs, so you are dealing with older buildings that are often large converted Victorian homes. They creak, they lean and they make for small stores packed floor to ceiling with goods. If that's not your thing; do yourself a favor and stop looking at things to do in Berkeley Springs. This is a store full of Himalayan wares. You know how the pizza place smells like pizza, the indo - spice mart smells like curry, the Mexican joint smells like Mexican food, and the head shop smells like incense? Well this store has its own aroma that your schnoz isn't used to suckin' down its breathin' hole. So if you're THAT person; you know the one who gags walking by a Yankee Candle and performs covert ninja operations to pass thru the perfume section of a department store undetected; then this is not the store for you. It's not overwhelming, and it's certainly not bad, it's simply different, and not everyone likes different. Parking is limited since this is on a side street, but hey this is in a walkin' town anyway. It's such a fun little store to explore with a pretty cool staff. If you dig the other specialty shops in Berkeley Springs, you'll definitely dig this place.

I was in the Walmart Pharmacy today and I had my first prescriptions filled Unfortunately with…read moreall new year prescriptions changes, some of my current medications were not going through correctly. I had explained to the lady pharmacy clerk that I shouldn't be billed no more than $4.00 for each of my prescription except for 1 prescription. So she resubmitted the prescriptions that weren't going through correctly again and she was able to get my prescriptions covered. If she had not tried to resubmit my prescriptions I would not have been able to pay for the prescriptions and would have to go without them. I am so very thankful that the employee was not a computer or automated system because I would have not been helped. I will keep using the Walmart Pharmacy and recommending them.

Everett is not a very big place to begin with and to build this here might have been a bit of overkill. Don't let what I just said make you think that this place is huge in any part, actually quite the opposite. It is a condensed super center. Maybe that's the best way to describe this place. They were attempting to give you this false sense that this place is big and will have everything you can imagine. Well if that is what you are thinking all I can say is take a trip here and see if you can get everything on your shopping list. All the aisles are narrow and shorter than all other super centers you will come across. You will have to either wait to make it through an aisle or walk forever until you find one that you can go down. As for the merchandise, you will find the most popular items on the shelf, but not the one you want. I couldn't find a single item that I was looking for, but I found a lot of the Walmart branded items for those items. Only good side, self checkouts.

In its current state, Family Dollar has a lot of aisles and shelves. Not at on of clothing, but a little bit of everything. Candy, food, toys, home goods, socks/underwear, hats, pools in the summer, sunscreen, beauty/shower products, batteries, etc. Usually if I am looking for something in particular, I will find it. Always friendly service with 1-2 people working up front.

The departments are defined and easy to find/navigate. Pricing seems to be about the same as competitors. Selection, at least to me, appears to be limited. I really did not see much that caught my eye. Before long, I found myself back to the mall entrance and out of the store.

I have been lucky and found some good deals on nearly perfect clothing but I know that is not the case with everyone. Also, it is not organized so be prepared to dig around a bit. As a result the company just moved to Clarksburg to build a new outlet center closer to DC , Gaithersburg, ... Now with fewer shops, that means fewer shoppers browsing and buying, so difficult for remaining stores to sell enough and they will slowly move on.
