Very discombobulated merchandise that is literally thrown all in these bins for cheap prices. It felt almost like dumpster diving. Some things were opened. Good luck finding shoe with matching pairs. Things were broken. Boxes were opened. It was random. Checked out the shelves away from the bins, expecting to be surprised at the bargains. Didn't really see any bargains. Their manager, Paige yelled at me in front of everyone, including my 7 year old granddaughter. Their systems were down to print out my winnings. Another associate showed me on my phone how to find my items. I asked him do I just go get them or do I need the paper like normal? He told me to go get them and when I come back up to give them the invoice number and they would get me checked out. I did this but before I was even out of the aisle when I was done, Paige was yelling at me because I went down "her" aisle in "her" store without a sale print out. I tried to explain to her that another associate told me to do that. She didn't want to hear it. She was very unprofessional and belittling. My granddaughter even asked why that lady was yelling at me. Everytime I tried to explain she just kept interupting and telling me policy. I understand that. I asked her if she would ask the other associate to come up so he could tell her. No she wouldn't do that. I asked if I could speak to her manager, no she said I couldn't and would not give me the information. I have spent thousands at that store and have been doing the auctions since they started. I could understand being treated like I was if I stole something or broke something but I literally did what I was told. She reprimanded me like I did something wrong. I tried to explain and stand up for myself and I was told she was going to blacklist me for it, which she did after I told her to do what she felt she needed to do. I understand policy. I understand the need to follow it. There is a way to treat customers and a way not to, especially when your associate directed them wrong. Reprimanding, yelling and chastising them in front of their family and the entire store is not it.

The items are discounted and most things are really good quality. Last time I was there we got a 25 lb kettlebell for $20, some named brand face cream that was $4, and my husband got some Monster headphones he was really excited about for $40. Unfortunately when we got back to our family's house only one headphone worked. We took it back and I was pleasantly surprised that the return process was seamless. We will continue to go back when we are in town and see what deals we can find.

I think some prices are good but others aren't that great so you have to be ready to spend some time looking. It's just not very organized. Maybe they try but it's not. But when you run across something you really want, that's fun! One huge issue is no dressing rooms. They say you can return but it's about a 40 minute drive for me each way so it would be much better if I could try on before I buy. The last time I was there, I literally got in the corner of the store and tried on everything over my clothes and my partner took a photo so I could get an idea of what it looked like on me even with my clothes underneath. I got paranoid at one point because they have a lot of plain clothed security in there and I was worried they might think I was up to something but I was rather conspicuous so I'd be a really stupid criminal. Lol BUT, I liked everything I tried on so that's a positive for Cargo Largo! I also had an item in my cart with a red sticker on it as a markdown. The item was still about $30 but it rang up for over almost at $50. The guy ringing me up looked it up by the date they received it (May of 2025) and said the price on the ticket was wrong so he called over the manager. At first she told me she wouldn't honor the price on the ticket but then she said she would. I thanked her and I got the idea she really had to go by this date system but that's not cool. If you make an error, you should honor the price. And you've had the item in your store for 5 months so reducing it $15 to sell it isn't crazy. Again, in the end I got it for that price and I appreciate the manager's help, but it was a bit embarrassing having to feel like I'm haggling when the tag clearly stated that price. If it weren't for that incident, the lack of dressing rooms, and the intimidating presence of the security (you can definitely spot them even in plain clothes), I would rate them higher. I'll still go back because I do find cute things there.

I agreed to buy the tile near $250 worth with Store clerk stating that I can return any unused tile for a refund NOT A STORE CREDIT A REFUND. Because there was signs on the door, counter, receipt, & throughout the store I kept questioning the policy he said no no you can bring it back with no worries any unused portion. Okay I decided to buy choose not to use any of it next day took the tile back because we changed our minds. The owner refused a refund although the kid that was working there told me otherwise the kid said I may get into trouble for this but, I will honor it. Why would he say it if he'd get into trouble? Anyways in the mist of refunding the store owner stopped the refund. NO REFUND AS PROMISED INSTEAD A STORE CREDIT! What is this?
