Then I picked up some knee highs in various colors. The prices were reasonable. I did find a pair of pantyhose in a specific color that I wanted, but I am feeling leery that they will not fit, but for the price I will take the gamble. Then I went to look for some underwear, which was a struggle since the sizes were all over the place. But I did manage to find the size and colors I wanted. Check out was a breeze. Lolita ( I think I spelled it right) was very accommodating since I didn't want to place my clothing onto the conveyor belt. She was very pleasant and made my day.

I got a text notice that my order was ready for pick up so I headed over and checked the online pick-up area but figured the vacuum box was too large, so it was not in the area. I approached Ryan at the cashier counter for assistance, and he immediately offered to help find my order. He soon reappeared with the vacuum and blankets and got me all checked out. He was very friendly and helpful. I love it that I can shop at Kohl's then get Kohl's cash for future orders to save money on purchases. Great store, great location, great customer service.

I brought in a brand-new pair of Badgley Mischka shoes (retail value $139) that I received as a gift but couldn't wear because they were too small. They offered me $9, which I declined--no big deal. I planned to sell them elsewhere. The issue happened when an employee placed a pricing sticker directly on the shoe. When she removed it, it ripped part of the finish and left behind paper and adhesive residue. I pointed it out immediately, but I was told it was "just paper" and that it would come off. When I got home, I realized the residue wasn't coming off, and the sticker had actually damaged the shoe. I returned to the store to explain what happened. The owner looked at them and told me it was "no big deal" because the damage was barely noticeable. She offered me $40 for the shoes instead of taking responsibility for the damage her employee caused. These shoes were brand new, still in the box, and were only damaged because of how they were handled in the store. What disappointed me most wasn't just the damage--it was the complete lack of accountability. There was no apology, no acknowledgment that they had caused the problem, and no real effort to make it right. When I asked if they could offer $50 instead, I was told they would lose money. At that point, it was clear the focus was on protecting their profit rather than taking care of a loyal customer. I'm still shocked by how this situation was handled. A simple apology and an effort to make things right would have gone a long way.
