The assortment of apparel on the men's side is good, but I wish they carried a couple more items. The service is great tho. Everyone from the sales associates to the cashiers were friendly and helpful. I ended up buying some socks and underwear which were at a great price. I visited this location which was full of staff and every counter had someone available to help me but I was literally told to go to a different counter after speaking to about 3-4 people until someone told me to go upstairs into the men's section to make the return. I hope they create a better system for returns because I should have been directed to customer service or even just been assisted by anyone to make a return. Needless to say, I have been discouraged on making purchases from Macy's since their return process is so time consuming and difficult.

I picked the item up via curbside, but realized immediately it wasn't right and returned it to the store within minutes of it being brought to my car. While the necklace refund was processed, the jewelry department supervisor refused to refund the protection plan. She told me I had to call an "800 number" found in my email receipt to get my money back. I checked my email thoroughly; neither a company name nor a phone number was listed anywhere. After I insisted multiple times, she finally made a call and gave me a number for the insurance, but not yhr name of the company. When I called the company (Asurion) the next day, they informed me that they cannot process an immediate refund. Instead, I have to send an email request and wait for them to mail me a physical check. This is absolutely unacceptable. A warranty should be automatically cancelled and refunded the moment the product is returned to the store. Save yourself the headache and do not buy their protection plans online. Once they have your money, they make it as difficult as possible to get it back.

Today, there were only a few department stores left. Today, I went to revisit this so-called department store with a high expectation. One big problem I have with this JC Penney is the signage. I was clueless as where they put men's clothes. Unlike Macy's and other department stores, there are signs at the escalator as which floor sells what. But not this one. I walked all over the women's department and decided to try 2nd level. Bummer. Men's department only filled half of floor space. Not much to shop there, except the clearance aisles. After my initial navigation, I think I remember where is what on the 2nd level. I will return when I need something fancy.

She said she had never heard of that brand or a name that sounded similar. I told her I literally just tried it on, and she looked at me like I had two heads and said well if you can find it and stalked off. I found it on the website after questioning my own memory of events. I, myself, and my husband have both worked in retail in the past, so I understand being both an employee and a customer. And now in our professional jobs or in the past would never treat someone like this. In a matter of 15-20 minutes I was so put off by humanity. It's awful that this is the only local off saks store. Walking up to the checkout, the woman was really nice but instantly had a mood change when I said I had a return. One of the items I received in the mail is not what I ordered (I ordered jeans and got a cardigan sweater) but it's still sealed so I requested a return. She just stared at me lol...and the woman next to her mumbled I have to mail it in. I couldn't 100% hear and the woman assisting me still didn't speak so the woman next to her explained that since the items have to match, I can't return in store. I said that's fine, my other item is exactly what I ordered, but didn't fit so I am returning it. I handed over the bag that it came in (delivered last night) and the receipt. The woman then decided to speak and said "we need a receipt"...even though I have handed it to her. I said this is the receipt and she responded "yea that's what we need" and glared. Ok. lol. She glanced at the dress, glanced at me, glanced at the receipt and said the numbers don't match. The numbers do match. I said yes they do match and she said they don't without looking to check her error and at this point I don't feel like dealing with her vibe so I grabbed my items and repeatedly said thanksssss while she tried to tell me they do not match and as I left the store they laugh as if something was funny. If she was confused say that but as soon as I had said a return she didn't want to help. I don't appreciate causing a scene and being rude for nothing and I'll likely drive 15 miles out of my way than to deal with childlike behavior.
