I was the first person in right at 8:01. There was at least three people working two in the bays and one inside the customer area. The gentleman upfront was very helpful. Getting me started. I was there for a simple patch because I had a screw. After an hour of sitting there and watching three more employees come in. No one had called my name or come to look for me so I went up front and I could see my car was parked out front already if I hadn't gone up there, how long would it have been before they notified me? They were already helping the lady who came in after me for a new tires and were ringing her out. Mind you she came in about 15 minutes after me. I understand different processes take different amounts of time, but it shouldn't take an hour for a patch. read more

I had posted about this on Facebook, but realizing that I don't live in the Pueblo area, it was probably not hitting my target audience. I decided to go to YELP, the options were a profanity filled rant versus a concise and to the point review of this outfit. I opted for the second, even though I've seen plenty of the first option out there. Earlier in the year, a young lady was in for an oil change on a Subaru. She was told in no short order that within a month or so she would need brakes, to the tune of $2,000. Having own Subaru's I knew that they came with the indicator tabs that would start making noise prior to the brakes rubbing on the rotors. I was nursing a back injury and was unable at the time to do much of anything as far as even take the wheels off of the car to look at them. After my full recovery I loaded up my car; floor jack, jack stands, impact wrench, brake working tools, a new set of front brakes and all the necessary materials to install and clean up. Drove 75 miles, and proceeded to prep the vehicle for the brake job. Once the vehicle was safely lifted in the air I removed both front wheels, proceeded to remove the passenger side brake pads. Much to my surprise, comparing them to the brand new ones they were almost identical. I did not have calipers with me but in my estimation 1/32nd of an inch had been worn from the original brakes compared to the brand new set sitting next to them. Checked the driver side same thing, check both rear brakes, same thing. I returned the brakes to a store in Pueblo of the same name where I purchased them, where I was told in no uncertain terms that this Big-O is not part of the Nationwide chain but individually owned franchise as is the other one in Pueblo and the one in Trinidad. All owned by one family, kind of like the Jiffy Lube & Screw's were up in Denver in the early to mid-2000s. As you can see in the picture the brand new brakes are on the left the ones taken off of the vehicle are on the right yes this vehicle needed a $2,000 brake job like I need a hole in my head. My guess is this poor lady would have brought her vehicle in, handed then the keys, they would have parked it in the back for about 4 hours, gave her a call and said "it's ready to go, come and get it". $$$$ ! The owners of this not so fine automotive repair establishment are more than welcome to retort, whether they retort with some form of a good reason, or a blatant lie is up to them. I don't expect much especially this day and age, I have practically given up on any form of real customer service or morals when it comes to most businesses. I installed new struts on my 2017 Caravan and needed an alignment. I have used this Big O in the past and have been satisfied with their service. I also rotated my tires myself before taking it in for the alignment. After the alignment my car was pulling to the left. I would have to hold the steering wheel 3 or 4 degrees to the right to keep it from drifting left. I went back and made an appointment to have it redone and have the wheels balanced as well. After another 3 or 4 hours, I picked up my car and noticed they rotated my wheels even though I specifically told them not to, just balance. It was clear by the wear that they rotated the tires. Drew (the apparent manager) said I would have to come back to have them moved back. Driving home I noticed there was no change to the alignment and the car continued to drive left. When I looked at my invoice I noticed that they recommended I get the struts replaced as well. I went back in a few days and Drew said it would be a few hours for them to rotate my tires back and look at the alignment for the 3rd time. I asked him why they quoted me to replace the struts and he said it's based on mileage. I'm here for an alignment because the struts are brand new, but you're going to recommend I get new ones?! He said its just a recommendation and that I don't have to get them done. Why would I get them done, they're new. Do you understand how that makes you look when you recommend unnecessary services?! I told him I just wanted the tires put back and he said it would be 5 hours or more before they could get to it. Oh, now it's 5 hours, I see how it is. I took my keys and left. Bottom line, I made three trips there, wasted 6 to 7 hours and paid for services that weren't performed or were incorrect. Drew's customer service was horrible, not just to me but other customers as well; no eye contact, no questions, looking at phone instead of listening, no wonder they can't get things right. UPDATE: the manager at the store called me and clarified that the 3 year warranty only offers a prorated amount on the tires, not replacement, within the 3 year time period. I'm still really upset that they didn't honor the road hazard warranty when my tire popped (the road hazard warranty was apparently void because my tire was so bald.) Still, it's ridiculous that the tire was bald after 2 years and 8 months! Just proves how junky their tires are in the first place. While I appreciate the manager calling to explain the warranty and offering the prorated amount on the tires, I still will NEVER buy tires from Big O again and do not recommend. Original review: Worst, worthless tires I have EVER owned AND most terrible customer service I have ever experienced anywhere! I drove over 100k miles on my old tires without EVER getting a flat. I bought 4 Big O brand new tires and two of the tires had to be replaced due to flats (they repaired them as many times as they could) within the first 2 years. Then, I was under the impression that the warranty was for 3 years (says so right on the receipt) but when a 3rd tire went flat recently, they said they wouldn't replace it because now the tread is below 3/32nd of an inch. Yes, the two tires that haven't been replaced yet are darn-near bald after only 2 years and 8 months. They said that they wouldn't honor the three year warranty because they said I missed one tire rotation last year though I have been faithfully getting the tires rotated every 5k miles since I bought the tires! I SWEAR they forgot to print a ticket or something because that would be the ONLY rotation that I would have missed. I went to another tire store to see if I could get just two new tires, and they said that since my car is AWD all 4 tires have to be replaced, and in fact, Big O should have never put two new tires on my car with the other two being as bald as they were since my car is AWD. They said driving my car like that is probably damaging my drivetrain, and they recommended that I sue Big O tires for the potential damage that's doing to my car!! Every single time I went to get my tires rotated (every 5k miles) I had to sit for at least 2-3 hours in the waiting room because they are so freaking slow. Now, I have wasted ALL that time (like ~25ish hours of my life over the past 2 1/2 years) just to now have to buy four brand new tires from somewhere else! I have never been more furious, upset, disappointed with a product or a company in my entire life!!!! read more

Went to have a small nail hole repaired. Nail was in the tread area and repairable. Big O in Eagleridge first said it would be a half hour to get in. Two hours later I insisted the tire be fixed, after two hours they said it was in the shoulder and irreparable. I would have to buy anew tire, but they didnt offer anything, they put on the spare tire and said theres your car, goodbye. Took the tire with the 1 inch finish nail in to another tire store and guess what it was repaired. They also stole a special loud whistle off the key ring. When I called Jason about the 2 hour wait and missing whistle he said he would call me back with solutions in 15 to 20 minutes. Thats was 6 days ago. No response to complaint read more

I have been there on occasions that are usually stressful and the employees there have been outstanding. I don't know what "secret sauce" they use to train their employees but they are on it. Went in for a tire rotation and wheel alignment, was given my quote and estimated turn around time (1.5 -2. Hrs) Made my appt for the following day. I dropped off my vehicle in the AM and called in for a status update about 3 hours in and they stated they'd call back, a call I never received. Had to show up at the shop to continue to wait another 2 hours. When my keys were about to be handed over I asked what kind of rotation was done because I can physically see the tired were all on the same spot. (Scuffs and tire marks that were there helped me identify this) after they explained it I stated it wasn't completed on my truck. After a brief discussion amongst themselves they agreed they had forgotten to do my wheel rotation, all they did was replace a bad stem on the tire I had mentioned to them that needed replacement. They said they'd get a hand full of guys to get it all done asap. Since I was already late for work I hung around to get that done. Rushed to work and on the way noticed the tire pressure was different on all 4 wheels, then my tire pressure was dropping on one wheel. I arrived at work to realize the bad stem I had told them about was never replaced. Steering wheel at the moment is a bit too far to the left. Would not recommend to anyone. Check to ensure what you paid for was completed. Now I gotta go to another shop to get all this corrected. Waste of my time & money. Look elsewhere for your services. read more

As part of their 52 point inspection, they checked all tires. When unloading back area to get to wheel well, they were attentive to put paper on ground for our belongings. They also work as a team. Do not go to Big O tire on Eagleridge in Pueblo,co. I went in for a basic oil change and to get new tires. I left the vehicle there. I drive a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek. I was called when the car was ready to come get it. I go in the store and the manager Geoff let me know after the alignment (which we did not ask for) the car was running weird. It was shaking and acting like something in the transmission is messed up. The car has never ever had a problem. So, my husband drove it one block, and it was bad. We took it right back in and they found out what was wrong. They drained the CVT transmission fluid instead of the oil and topped off the oil and left the transmission fluid empty. It's a mechanics daily job to do a basic oil change. Do not trust this place or their mechanics. read more

I called Big O to order tires. Over the phone they quoted me $348 per tire. When I arrived to get them installed, they said I was misquoted and the tires were $513 each. Thankfully they were willing to negotiate the price down to $429.99, which was the average price of the tire online. After picking up my truck, the tire pressure sensors no longer worked. I took my vehicle back and they fixed the issue. I got home and noticed the pressures were 42, 33, 33, 36 psi. I would hope a tire shop understands they need to be at equal and appropriate tire pressure levels. Versus driving all the way back to the Big O, I filled up the tires at home. Upon filling, I noticed the sensors didn't correspond to the correct tire on the dash. They didn't change the tire sensor order so we're correct on the dash. Complete and utterly terrible experience and I would advise anyone to go anywhere else. Worst quality of work and customer experience. This use to be my go-to tire shop but I wouldn't visit this place again if my life depended on it. Terrible. read more

Simply wanted my oil checked and tires checked to make sure everything was good, they got me in and out and were very helpful even though I didn't end up spending any money with them because I didn't need any service or products. I hit a huge water filled pothole and it poked a hole through my front tire into the cords. Tire was ruined, we all knew it. These guys were great!! I dealt with Charlie. He spent over an hour trying to find a tire for me! Each of the salesmen tried to help. They all seem to work very well together! Ended up putting my "donut" on my back, switched my back to the front. Bam!! Back on the road!!!! And the cost??!!?! For all their time, effort and work???? $0000. I had an appointment for 9:30 am. Sure enough.. 10:30am rolls around and my vehicle hadn't even been taken back yet. I ask hey how much longer until you pull it back? They say oh just another five or ten minutes... twenty minutes later I'm still sitting there, no service. SOOO needless to say my car wasn't serviced because they decided to lie about time quotes. I called them to set it aside, they said they would, and when I came to get it, it was gone. the short of it is they gave me a new tire for my spare, since they mistakenly disposed of the other one. I brought my car in due to a tire pressure light on my dash. I was told by an associate that my tires were at "4" and would not make it up any mountain terrain. It was suggested I purchase new tires. I was called later explaining that I needed an alignment. After I picked up my car, I read the report sent from the techs. The report shows pictures of each tire.On every picture it states, "the vehicle does not need tires!". I was in shock after reading the report. I was scammed out of $1,000. I called the corporate office to file a formal complaint. The next day the manager "Jeff" contacts me. I was gaslit by him. I explained what the report states. He says, "The report states the vehicle does not need tires because we replaced the tires." I told him that made zero sense. Jeff then replied, "It makes sense to most people." Horrible customer service. He also suggested i come back so he can show me my old tires. read more

I confess, when I get bad service from a vendor, I crucify them with scathing reviews. ON THE OTHER HAND, when I get excellent service from a vendor I make sure I write a glowing review. In this day and age, I write many more scathing reviews than glowing reviews. It brings me great pleasure to be able to write one of those glowing reviews for Big O Tire in Pueblo. Last week I ordered four new Continental Terrain Contac tires for my Honda Ridgeline from the Big O Tire website. I was contacted by the dealer, who informed me it would take a few days to get the tires, and that they would contact me when the tires came in. Within a few days, and within the time span promised by the dealer, the tires came in, and I made an appointment to have them mounted. It took the dealership no more than 1 hour to get the tires mounted and I was on my way. They also checked my alignment and informed me my tires were out of alignment but there was no pressure to have them do the alignment. Nor was there any pressure to buy any of their other add-ons offered, nitrogen, warranty or other. I will say, when you drop your car off for mounting, make sure you ask them to show you what they are going to do. In my case, when I asked what the total price would be, they showed me in detail, and the plan was to fill the tires with nitrogen, add the warranty cost, etc.. Had I not asked I may have ended up paying for items I did not want. Just make sure you clarify what you want on the front end. I did have a small issue with a $70 rebate the website indicated as available on the tires, and that a week after installation I could not figure out how to submit. I went back to Big O and, without blinking an eye, the manager/staff made sure I got the benefit of the $70 rebate immediately. Amazing customer service! I can't say enough good about these guys. When I read some of the negative reviews, I can't help but believe the fault lies more with the customer than Big O. If you live in Pueblo, and need tires, do yourself a favor and buy them here. This is also a positive review for the Continental Terrain Contac tires. If you have a truck or SUV, and need good year-round tires, check these out. They ride extremely well for a pretty aggressive tread tire, and were killer in the ice and snow in Breckenridge this week. read more

Turns out, a piece of her car broke off at some point in time and it just needed to be screwed in at a new spot. I unfortunately write this comment not to talk down Big O in Pueblo on 430 Eagleridge Blvd. I called and spoke to Pete on Friday 1/10/18. I explained my front driver's tire was wearing tread off inside of new tires installed first of year. They took me in and rotated tires to my knowledge in a 4x4 pattern and my truck is a 2x4 pickup. Anyway I'm not complaining about the rotation or balance. My issue is that I had to leave for Roswell New Mexico's for relative visit with aunt. We made it to Santa Fe and spent nite in motel. The truck was pulling so bad to the left it was unreal. They showed me that according to alignment readout front end finished result was correct. Well with this said I took truck to Big O shop in Santa Fe. They inspected and gave me print out of problem. According to this Big O in Santa Fe front end was way out of alignment. This comment is not to destroy BigO in anywhere but to be a learning sequence to have Technicn better trained or have alignment machine recalibrated. I still use BigO because no matter where your at most likely problem can be resolved. read more

I have used this location for three years and had them do the regular rotation for all my cars. I was in there this past weekend and saw that they were lifting my truck using floor jacks on the transfer case and rear end housings. This is specifically mentioned in my owners manual as a forbidden practice. I told the service guys to stop and they all got mad at me and started openly badmouthing me. They called the mgr out and he had them use the lift. I thought the problem was solved, but I was wrong. The tech who tool the center caps off my wheels just popped them off and dropped them on the concrete. Then he made a point to kick them across the floor. As a result, two of them are all scratched up now. This will be my last visit to this location. read more

Ladies and gentlemen do not take your vehicle to this location. They lifted my vehicle wrong bending up my ground effect kit on both sides of my vehicle. Took 4 hours to change out 2 tires. Plus had a excuse of why they shouldn't have to buy me another kit to replace the one they bent up on my vehicle. Big O Tire is a good company just not at this location. read more

We've worked with Big O a lot over the years and I would continue to go back. Things to know: expect to pay about 75% more than the price of the tires. Nitrogen is added to the tires, I wasn't given the option to refuse it. Balancing the tires, expect an additional fee for this. Alignment, again additional fees. Big O Tires is Terrible!!! Had a nail in tire, went to Big O and after 2 hours they came out and said "did you know you have a lug broken?" REALLY Big O?? YOU BROKE IT!!!! I asked if I lost a lug nut and they said "nope, it's here." Quite a coincidence don't you think? The left front tire had a nail in it and lucky us, Big o also found a broken lug but wait....not even a lug nut was lost???!!! You are fools if you think we'll be back!!!!! Amazing service, fast, friendly and extremely reasonable. We had a slow leak in our tire on a long road trip. We weren't sure if we needed to get it fixed to cover the next few hours of driving. They did a quick check for leaks, pulled out a non puncturing nail and topped off our tires, at no cost. Given how busy the store was, this was truly impressive customer service. Brought an RV I had just bought in to get rotation and balance and to fix a problem getting to the air stems on the back tires. Guys that worked on it were complete sculls (empty pieces of bone). They were cussing about having to work on an RV until I stepped out of it. They tried to jam the back tires on with the stems against the brake drums until I called em on it and told them that was one of the reasons I had brought the RV in. When they were supposedly finished, the tire pressure ranged from 40 to 60 psi with no two of the tires having the same pressure. No one checked the spare, or the brakes as I had plainly asked them to do. One of the rims had a coating of mud up to 1/4 inch in places so that's probably not balanced. To top it off one tire was flat when I got home due to the stem coming unscrewed from the rim. These stems aren't like the ones on regular autos that pop into the rim. I can count 6 sets of tires I've bought from big O over the past 15 years but never again. Have probably spent 3,000.00 on shocks alignments and ball joints and brakes as well. I even have a Big O credit card but will be chopping that up as soon as I get the overpay credit off it. read more

Used to be a regular customer here, but attitudes there changed over the years. Took my car there for an oil change with a coupon they mailed to my home. As always, they found something else that they suggested I take care of then, but I declined. They did take my car in at my appointment time, but at checkout I was informed that they no longer accept checks. I explained that I was not informed of that policy when I made my appointment, so I needed to write a check. The customer service gentleman agreed to take a check "this time", and I agreed that in the future I would be aware. Then he told me the total and I questioned why the total was $5 higher than the coupon price. When he said it was"taxes", I questioned why there would be $5 in tax on a $30 purchase. He muttered something about "Oh, your oil change is different" and next thing I knew I was charged an appropriate amount of tax. Like others who have posted here, had I not questioned the bill, they would have gotten away with the excess charge. Just two or three dollars, yes - but between the deteriorating customer service over the years and then this . . .I doubt that I'll return. UPDATE - I appreciate that owner Chad followed up with me by telephone, and explained his plan to move forward. His pleasant attitude made me want to try them again, so after a couple of months passed I called for a price on a possible replacement tire. Without knowing who I was on the phone, the service tech encouraged me to come in and have the tire repaired at no charge if it was repairable. I did that the next day, and was not charged. The tire will need to be replaced soon, and I plan to make that purchase at Big O Tires based upon their ready willingness to help out. read more

We took our vehicle here to have our breaks checked. Before they looked at it our breaks, they had a slight grinding feeling when you pushed the break peddle and otherwise worked fine, however, we knew we needed something fixed. After they "checked" our breaks our vehicle was undrivable. They told us it would cost near 1000$ and we wanted a second oppinion. When we backed out of the parking spot our breaks poped, seezed, and were in no driving condition. I have no idea what they did to make the issue this much worse, but we had to drive it back to our city (30 mins away) like this and our breaks actually gave out on the freeway! My husband had to drive it to firestone using only an emergency break. When firestone put it up on racks they said a break pad poped off! Please don't take your vehicles here! In my experience I beleive they tried to force us to pay their outrageous prices and further damaged our truck. I'm just so glad we didn't get into a freeway accident and that our 3 and 4 year old were not in the truck. read more
