Came in for a 10am appt. TWO peop e came in after me and they got service first. Had to wait extra long. The system where they intercept before you walk in is flawed. No one was there when I walked in...then they got the next two coming in while I waited. Only one guy at desk on phone while trying to assist someone prior. When the directional snow tires were mounted at the beginning of winter, they got one backwards that I noticed a month later, so I had to come back. Went there yesterday and waited 30 minutes to get my tired filled up and to see if I had a nail in my tire , which I did cause I had to go somewhere else to get it checked out . She's out there putting on tires doing the job herself. I was coming from Trinidad to Pueblo ( roughly 1 1/2 hours ) long story short I was almost 1 hour late for my appointment due to a wreck on I-25 & there was construction going on the road that leads to them so I couldn't even figure out how to get in parking lot once I finally got to Pueblo ... I was frustrated for being late to begin with & was going to just have tired balanced & rotated.. They were very busy but as I was getting ready to leave decided I wanted to get a full size spare since all I have is a donut & I live hour & half away & wouldn't be comfortable driving that far on donut.. Thanks to Marlon I'm giving them 5 stars instead of 4. I made an appointment to get new tires and pressure sensors on all 4 wheels of my truck. Due to some miscommunication they forgot to install the new sensors. Could be due to me being fairly deaf. Anyway, I ended up talking to a very polite young man named Marlon instead of the first people. Despite them being very busy Marlon got my truck right back in and solved the problem for me, taking his time from the sales counter and jumping right in and changing the sensors out himself. I certainly would have left a bit unhappy if it hadn't been for him going the extra mile. He even put in extra effort to accommodate my piss poor hear in a noisy environment. We bought tires for our truck and our Jeep. We took the truck in because the tire had a slow leak. They told us they couldn't repair it so we asked them to put it back on. The man said they couldn't because they had destroyed it looking for the leak. Yes, he said "they destroyed it". But they refused to do anything about it other than put the spare on. Now I am without a tire and all I had was a slow leak. Really?!?! They admitted they destroyed the tire. I have to buy a new tire at my own expense because they destroyed mine. Came to Colorado to see property we bought sight unseen and the roads to the property were wet and muddy, more than our Subaru could handle...almost got stuck but our amazing Subaru came through for us once again; tour off all the wheel balancing weights on all the tires which made driving at any speed over 50 almost dangerous. We walked in and these guys had to scrape mud from the tires before they could balance them and never drowned or complained. The balancing was completed quickly and we were again on our way on smooth wheels. No matter where you travel there is always a Discount Tire there to help when needed!! I came in the day afterThanksgiving because I thought they might have Black Friday specials. I bought a car with low profile tires on it. I wanted to put regular stock tires back on the car. I was told I needed a lift kit. And was quoted a price of over $700 just for tires. I contacted the former owner of my car and also extensively researched my car. No modification were made to put low profile tires on my car. So all I really needed was 225/55R17's. Well I could not be happier, Walmart quoted a price of $509 for Goodyear All season radials. Thanks guys for doing nothing. Please don't think all women are stupid. I used to emission cars for the state. Your actions speak for themselves. I recommend going anywhere else, especially after reading the rest of the reviews. Just because you are busy does not mean you need to put off prospective customers. read more

Terrible experience. I bought tires from discount tire and got a nail in one. So I brought it to them to have it patched but they said they couldn't patch it and I had to warranty the tire out. So I leave my tire there, pay for the warranty and go back to work and wait for their call. No call. So I called an hour later and of course the tire was finished. They just didn't bother to let me know. I get there to find out they patched my tire after they stated they "couldn't" and tried to tell me it was a new tire. I'm so unbelievably irritated with this experience that I will no longer do business with this specific discount tire. read more

I went to Discount Tire today to drop off my SUV for a 10am appointment. Just the usual rotation and rebalance. I stood in a very short line for just over 30 minutes. I cannot imagine why any customer should wait for that long to drop off a vehicle for an appointment. They were very busy and were understaffed. (They had a "Hiring now" sign out). I am generally patient and understanding but on this day, I had a ride waiting outside for me and he also had an appointment to make. I shared my experience with a man whomI believed to be the manager. He apologized and said he was dealing with an employee. My reason for sharing my experience is I'm wondering if this an acceptable waiting time for customers? I came in today to get two new tires for my car. I tend to drive A LOT and in all types of weather. I wasn't sure what tires I should get but Michael helped me with that. When I told him how much I drive, he recommended a more expensive tire that has better ratings for safety and whatnot. It was more than I had anticipated spending but I'd rather spend a little more and have a reliable tire that will last longer. The set that came with my car have lasted 41,000+ miles so I'm hoping to get similar or better mileage from these ones. read more

I went to Discount Tire for a balance and rotation on 10/18/14. It was my first time at Discount Tire, (I usually go to Les Schwab, but there isn't one in my area), and they were really helpful! No charge for the balance & rotation, which was great. There was a bit of a wait, but I was just happy to get an appointment on a busy Saturday! Discount Tire Pueblo is all happy to sell you tires and extended warranty, and all the bells and whistles. BUT.. I have been her twice since spending $2500.00 for new tires. Once to get lug nuts re- torqued , which after standing in line for 30 min to talk about it the guy told me That aftermarket wheels didn't require it??? Then today to get my free rotate and balance, I Again stood in line to talk to on of their distinguished representatives for another 30 minutes, ask how long a wait time it was for service, guy told me 2 hours, to come back in 1 1/2 hrs and he would get me in. So my wife and i went and did some of our shopping, and came back to store 20 minutes early. Stood in line to talk to distinguished representative again for 20 minutes, went and sit in chair for another 45 minutes till they pulled truck in garage, distinguished representative was kind of pissy. A VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER OF 25 years will never buy tires from Discount Tire again. Customer service at every location has become a complete joke!! Just scheduling an appointment with Discount Tire is like trying to communicate with someone who doesn't speak English. The last time I went there it took 2 hours - even with an appointment. If your time means nothing to you, by all means go to Discount Tire. Big O has much better customer service and actually tries to help you. With Discount Tire, I feel like THEY'RE doing ME a favor by taking my money and wasting hours waiting for people who act like it's their first day on the job. The employees stroll around like they're paid by their idle time. I saw three employees go out to a customer's car to look at his tires.
