Well, I'm still sitting here waiting to get my car tires put on. When I called got a great quote so I can't complain about the tire price, but the service sucks. They said they have the tires in stock and replace them right away. I'm still waiting for them to take the car in. It's gonna be another 45 minutes so the total time was probably close to an hour and a half. When they tell you one thing and do another that's not a great thing for the customer. read more

My sister went to Big O this morning to have the oil changed in her vehicle. She stood at the counter while two employees discussed whether or not parts they needed would come from the manufacturer or whether they would be told to buy the parts locally from one of the local auto supply stores such as O'reilly's. All the while ignoring my sister standing at the counter directly in front of one of those employees. He didn't look up, didn't nod or in any way acknowledge she was even there. When she finally uttered "customer service" he then acknowledged her and told her she was being rude and that's when I entered the store to hear him tell her her would not service her vehicle. So, as a customer, who do you believe is the one being rude? She later called the store and talked to the employee's supervisor Chad who made excuses for his employee. Chris Boice one of our county commissioners owns this store. I wonder how he feels losing not only my sister as a previous customer for life as well as me and hopefully, after discussing this with all of my children, them as well. I had to replace two front garden tractor tires on my mower. My daughter got the wheels off and dropped off at Big O and was able to get them and put back on before heading back to Eugene. The next day I went out to mow and One of the new tires was flat. My daughter called Big O on Monday and spoke with Chad. He had Mike come out to the house and remove the tire to take back to the shop to fix the problem at no charge! We really appreciated it as I can't do that kind of stuff anymore and my daughter would've had to make a special trip down to fix it. Great customer service! I was pleasantly surprised that you would do this! You guys got it right! I then realized my back mower tires need replacing and Big O offered to come out and remove the rims, take to shop and remove old tires and put the new tires on and then bring them back and install them. What a great service for someone who doesn't have the ability to do it or have family close by who can help. Thanks so much for your help and I am very grateful for the service you provided. I went in to get a tire rotation and sensor replaced, they didnt tighten my lugnut caps on two of my tires and 10 out of 12 of them fell off on my way home. I trust that as a tire supplier and service store that they would see to it that everything was tightened up properly, but they failed. this will cost me time and money now to replace these. I called them in the morning and stated what happened and they said they would look around the shop and see if they could find some to replace the ones I lost, they also said that I should not worry because it's just decorative. i went in with 12 and should respectively still have 12, decorative or not. i shouldn't have to walk around with a wrench and make sure they did their job before I drove away from their store. they have procrastinated calling me back it's been 5 hours. just how long does it take to "I will call you back shortly t replace the caps" they are very UNprofessional at best. I will never recommend or use their products and tire services again. read more

From the moment I walked in to this store, I was horrified by how incompetent the staff was. I had an appointment to have 4 tires installed. They told me about 1.5 hours to do the work. After about 1.5 hours they called to say they didnt have the tires for my car. They then told me they had been selling a whole lot of this particular size of tires for a couple weeks, that was there pathetic excuse. The staff was rude and nobody seemed to know anything. I went to Firestone Tires last week in Eugene because I have a lifetime alliainment policy. I was loosing a few pounds of air a week in one tire. Firestone told me my tire was unrepairable and tried to sell me a tire along with alot of other things I didn't need. I bought my 10-ply truck tires from Big O in Roseburg four years ago and have never had a problem. I was so relieved when Chad informed me that my tire just had a small hole and there was no charge for what I had been told would cost me hundreds of dollars. I discover Big O years ago when I lived in the mountains and went through BF Goodrich all terain tires every 25,000. I bought some Mesa 10-ply tires instead of the ussual 4-ply tires and realized they lasted twice as long as the much more pricey tires I had been buying. I ve have been driving for almost 50 years and have never had a set of tires last me four years and they still have plenty of wear left 29,000 miles later. Of couse I only drive about 5,000 miles a year these days. read more

I love this place. The crew is always hustling and busy and they take great care in making sure the job is done correctly. They get pretty busy on the weekends, so if you are in a hurry...you may want to rethink which day is best for tires. They have a waiting area with a tv, coffee, popcorn. They have a bathroom as well. I like to go over to Sherms and do some shopping. If weekends are your only option...it is WELL WORTH THE WAIT! They beat competitor prices, they have the best quality service, and they stand behind their guarantee. read more

After many years and thousands of dollars spent, just to be talked to and treated like a pay check. Went in for a brake (rear calibers and front and rear pads) job $650. The brakes were very spongy after they did the work (which they weren't prior to them working on the car). So I took the car back to Big O and told them they needed to re-bleed the brakes. and afterward was told that the master cylinder was bad an additional $600 I declined and had the car inspected by another European mechanic as the care was a VW and be hold the master was fine. But they refused to bleed the breaks again and just told me that the master was leaking and they could see the leak in the firewall. Well that was a lie as there was no visible leak and no loss of fluid. Had the car inspected my VW dealership and once again nothing wrong with the master and they stated that the brakes were not bleed correctly. So I bleed the breaks myself and what do you know after having to take a day off of work and run all over the place and finally doing what I asked Big O to do (re-bleed the brakes) since I paid them to do it. Everything works as it should no thanks to them. My trust in them being HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, or doing the job CORRECTLY is gone . I don't give second chances. I will not be burnt again by this business. read more

I wanted winter tires on my truck but I didn't want to get rid of my perfectly good tires for summer so I asked them to save them for me. They said they would but when I picked up the truck, my summer tires had been put in the recycle trailer, or so I was told. They said I could come back later to get them and they would call me when they got them out. Never got a call. read more

I recently had work done on my transmission at big O tires and was extremely happy with the outcome. The customer service was wonderful and they step me through the entire process and found the best price and option that was available. They explain to me what the problem was and how they knew it was the problem and reassured me of any doubts. These guys are skilled, trustworthy, and really GREAT. I didn't arrive here to buy tires originally but I'm SO glad I broke down at their shop, rather than any other. I ran into a serious transmission issue with a large, older camper van very close to closing hours on a Friday night, loaded with tons of expensive gear, my family, and my dogs. I was given their name at a nearby gas station as the closest mechanic and we limped our van to their lot, desperate for help. Their staff was absolutely excellent. They gave us immediate attention, dedicated one of their mechanics to an assessment of what was going on, and sourced out a part for what we all hoped would be the fix in the few minutes before they closed. This was an obscure part for the transmission (a flex plate) that had to come down from Seattle and couldn't be there for several days with the weekend. We ordered the part before closing then their manager, Aaland, helped me find a rental car office that was (barely) still open to get us back home in the meantime...and even gave me a ride there to go pick it up before they closed their doors. They also allowed us to keep our van at the shop while the part came in at no charge. I received a phone call from him on the day they opened it up with bad news that the problem was worse than we initially thought. The transmission was shot and we'd need another. He had already sourced a new one and offered a fair price to install it. They gave me lots of good background technical information on the works and parts that needed repair to help me make a decision on how to handle it. Unfortunately I didn't have the money for the install (even though their price was competitive) and I would have to tow it home to deal with it there. They only charged me a minimal amount for the work they put into opening the transmission and then agreed to allow me to keep the vehicle there until I could arrange the tow without any pressure. When I arrived to do this, they were super helpful with getting staff to facilitate getting the van onto the tow rig, and even prepping and wrapping the transmission as we loaded it inside the cab to keep it from spilling fluid into the interior. They didn't charge me anything aside from the couple of hours of work that we had initially agreed on to open the transmission and wished me luck. These guys obviously are really customer service oriented and take it very seriously. Evidently they warranty everything they do and that's a warranty I would trust. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them for any service that they offer. Thank you, Aaland and crew...you made a potentially nightmare situation as easy as it could be. I had an 8:00 Saturday appointment to have tires mounted for my Corvette. Ordered them from this location. There was another person who also had an appointment to have his tires mounted on his truck. They proceeded to service the truck (why you would schedule two customers at the same time, when you only have a crew to service one vehicle? ). So, I waited an hour for them to get done with the truck. As the guy with the truck is driving out of the garage, the tires are making some loud noises. Turns out, they installed someone else's tires; not the ones he ordered. They were too big for his truck and the tires rubbed when the wheels were turned. They tried to talk him into keeping them them on his truck, no I'm not kidding. That didn't work, so off come the tires as I still waiting. Two hours later, they install my tires. As I'm driving out, I got an alert in the car about a problem with tire pressure. I do a check on my heads up display, the tires are ranging from 13 pounds over inflated to 8 pounds under. I go to the service manager and explain the situation. I have a digital gauge which I use to start checking the tires.He asks if he can borrow mine because his gauge must be broken. He also asked what pressure are the tires supposed to be at? I opened the car door and pointed to the factory sticker. He said oh and looked like this was a new revalation. Then I noticed that only 1 of the valve stem caps was the original factory chrome caps and the others ones were plastic. I asked what happened to my factory chrome caps? He replied they can't use metal ones with TPS because they rust. Incorrect information, and even if that was the case, why did you leave one of the metal ones on? I talked to the sales person later about the ridiculous ordeal I went through, he was unapologetic and wanted to debate about the factory valve caps. So, I guess the factory engineers didn't do a very good job ? Anyway, I haven't bought any tires at Big O since and I have 5 vehicles. read more
