A long time in coming but better late than never. What can I say, These people are one of the hidden gems in Sutherlin, OR. Ron and his crew treat everyone like family. I broke down on a 650 mile round trip "banzai" run from the Seattle area to just south of Sutherlin. Not only did they fix my vehicle in superb time, but they checked local parts stores to find the part needed and all this without an appointment , not a peep or a grumble. Without them I was destitute. Because of them I was able make the return trip with no issues. The only regret that I have, is that I do not live in Sutherlin, or that they are not closer to me here in WA. These people would be my GO-TO guys for all my auto service work. Definately a recommend. Headed home from WA taking I-5. I have a diesel jetta TDI and the fuel system threw the car into "limp mode" where essentially the car will not inject fuel and you are coasting along with no pedal. Pulled over to reboot the car and it died. Wouldn't start back up. OSP got a tow out to us quickly and to Sutherlin AutoCare. They were on it first thing in the morning (pretty amazing if you ask me) and ruled out battery and altenator. Thankfully in my case, the repairs needed were warranty related and spent a cool 250 in towing to the dealership in Eugene. I can't say enough about my brief experience with Sutherlin AutoCare. They were on my car's troubles before I could reasonably expect, communicated with me throughout and overall were just what you hope to have when you are broken down 500 miles away from home. read more

I was traveling with my family and 2 dogs from California to Washington for Thanksgiving and we had the misfortune of breaking down (Fuel Pump) at 5:30 in the morning. Being 500 miles from home in an unfamiliar area you feel pretty helpless. So AAA recommended this place and dropped us there and wished us luck. The shop opened at 8 am and got us right in. After confirming it was the fuel pump, they went right to work. I believe the shop manager was Don? He put everyone on it and they had us back on the road by 10 am! It wasn't cheap but the quality of work, speed, service and professionalism was worth it. Plus they use NAPA products. Thanks to the guys at Sutherlin Auto Care we were able to make it to my daughters in Washington and enjoy a fantastic Thanksgiving with our family. read more

These folks were so Helpful and Friendly! Our van blew a sparkplug just north of the exit to Sutherlin. We crawled into town and pulled into the Chevron gas station. The service person told us about Auto care, called for us at 5:05pm and we crawled up the road. The owner knew immediately what was wrong. He called to Napa to make sure they had the part. One of the employees droved my husband and I and our two small dogs to the Best Western. The next morning at 10am Megan called and said the van was ready. My car club was in Sutherlin Friday Afternoon for part of the Roseburg Graffiti weekend when one of the cars had a problem. We stopped into the Napa Autocrat Center where the Shop Foreman Heath quickly diagnosed the problem - a broken header! Since it was a special part for a hot rod we had to have one sent overnight from California. Heath kept the car safe overnight and when the part arrived quickly got us on the road again. The amount that was charged was extremely reasonable, so much so we all were looking for another zero on the bill. Great job, great service, and great folks! Thanks. read more

I broke down on I-5 on a two day road trip, heading to CA. Marshall's Towing recommended Sutherlin AutoCare and said they had a great reputation. I ended up needing a new engine (under warranty with dealer) so they didn't actually work on my car. They didn't charge me a penny for the diagnostics. They went out of their way to help me get a rental and arranged a long distance tow for my car so I could get back on the road again. Our camper van broke down in Roseburg and we were towed to Sutherlin Auto. we were not sure what to think, however Sutherlin Auto went above and beyond to not only get our van repaired, but to call a local hotel on our behalf to ask for a discount due to our emergency situation. additionally, we were given a ride to the hotel and the cost of the repair was about 1/2 of what we expected. During the repair there was some damage done to the rear airbag and they replaced it with a brand new airbag. We are very grateful to them for getting us back in the road. read more

In July our motorhome broke down as we were on our way home. Had it towed to our house. We had 2 repair companies give us the run around because the charges needed to be approved by our Warranty Insurance Company. We called this company who sent someone out, he told us it was a simple job and could repair it in a few hours. He did a great job and we paid only $181.00. The other 2 shops were going to charge way more. One gave us an estimate of $550.50. YIKES! We recommend this shop! They tell you what it's going to cost and do a good job. read more

My son and I were traveling from Washington to California and my car broke down in Surherlin. These guys had a full schedule and still were nice enough to look at my car and squeeze us in. They were able to diagnose and repair my car very quickly so that we were able to get back on the road. Was driving from northwest WA to Phoenix, AZ when i felt and heard something break on my vehicle on the freewa. Limped to Sutherlin Auto Car with grinding noises and rapidly fading brakes. I cannot express how great everyone was. I had an oil change but the dipstick was broke off in the tube. I showed the mechanic the youtube video if one being blown out with an air hose. He did it and it worked. All the while thinking I'd tapped record and only took a picture..... Anyway, Megan and Skip are great I'm sure along with the rest of the crew. Bring your car, you won't regret it. After getting a really bad oil change at a different place in Washington, I ended up here. They totally took care of me, got my car up and running, basically did a new oil change and cleaned the bottom of my car which was covered in oil. I have had the pleasure of letting these nice folks take care of my older van a few times. Once, I kept losing power and I could smell wires burning. I had it towed and they found out it was the AC drawing too much power and they fixed it FOR FREE!! I am about to have them replace a radiator and I have complete faith they will get it right. After breaking down on the road, the tow company called ahead for us to Sutherlin. They had the needed part with minutes of us arriving and were all ready checking out our vehicle. We caught them minutes before closing, our trailer tires bearings had basically disinigrated and they went above and beyond pressing new ones into the hub and packing it with grease.
