Very disapointed. I have been a BigO customer for years and today they tried to scam me, not once but more the 3 times. I had just bouthe new struts at another location so the car was not in there system. I went in for a window washer problem and the service writer called me over and said I need new struts! Only $2500.00 I said there under warranty, only 6 months old. So he comes back with some lame excuse and said there fine. But you need lower control arms. And this and this and of corse, new tires. Don't get scamed! Take you car or truck and get a second opnion. I did and got my washer fluid fixed for $48.00 not the $250 what I was quoted. I took my car in for a new battery since it was over 5 years old. I saw Jake and a few minutes after I dropped off the car he came and showed me on the battery tester, that it was in excellent condition and I didn't need a new battery. These guys are a little rough around the edges, but don't take it personally. They work hard and sell great tires. I've been a loyal customer since they opened in Sierra Vista. The brand was recommended to me 28 years ago by a neighbor, who warned me, I'd be going through a lot of tires out here. Not true with Big O. Recently they mysteriously lost the lug cap on a flat tire at the end of its life. I decided to replace all four when that one got an enormous nail in it. Despite a few side looks and an air of suspicion (I knew 100% it had been sitting next to tire when I dropped its off), without blinking they ordered me a new one. See, honestly and good deeds don't go unrewarded. Please mention this review when you buy your first set of All-terrain (my choice for AZ). read more

I decided to finally try Big O for an oil change. I made an online appointment this morning for 3pm and arrived on time. I dropped off my Honda Ridgeline, then walked down to the mall for a late lunch. I got my call there 30 minutes later saying my truck was ready for pick-up. I paid $74 for "The Best" synthetic oil. The crew had checked all the fluids and pumps, filled up my tires to correct PSI, and noted a small power steering leak. I guess that will be my next car maintenance! I am very happy with the service I got today. I even got a military discount!!! read more

Showed up with my truck, oil, and filter for an oil change. Was told the wait would be an hour to an hour and a half. I gave the vehicle info and keys to the individual at the shop desk. After an hour of patiently waiting, I was informed that they were not going to service my truck due to a recall. There are 0 open recalls on my truck. This caused me to waste about an hour and a half of my only, busy day off for nothing. What a waste. read more

I did not have an appointment and it was 3 people waiting when I got there. 45 minutes later everything was done and they told me my brakes were still good so no need to get them done. Been going to Big O for years for a simple oil change and everything was alright .. until this time. Tues went to get oil changed. Checked oil level yesterday and it was over the top fill line by almost a 1/2 an inch. BTW - the oil fill cap was on at the time. Went this am on Thursday to have them lower the oil level a bit. Checked oil level later same day and it is a hairline above the max fill line. That's when I noticed there is no oil fill cap and the entire engine area is covered in oil. So I called and the manager said they will deliver a new oil cap within less than 45 minutes to my home . I'm going back there tomorrow for a free engine degrease than was offered without me asking. I guess it was the fact that this am was not a routine oil change and tech was outside his comfort zone. Still pissed but also gratified the same time. So glad I didn't go to Parker Lake which is a cell dead zone and have my car go tits up in a catastrophic failure. read more

Scheduled my appointment online the night before, showed up a little early and they helped me right away. I sat for about 45-60 minutes for a tire patching on a completely flat tire, which is the time the guy told me it would take. As I was waiting, I saw workers interact with each other in a playful, helpful, and positive manner, and treat each customer that came in with respect and patience. They were polite to me without me having to bring up my husband (which I have had to do at other auto body shops). My repair was free too, which maybe all tire patches are, but I'm going back with donuts tomorrow to thank them :) read more

I did some custom work and wanted a specific tire for my 2020 F150 recently. They were absolutely willing to work with me plus the benefit of getting an alignment on site after adding a leveling kit. The employees were as excited as I was with the drastic change the combo I picked resulted in. I even brought my own aftermarket wheels with zero pressure to buy from them. They offer nice wheels but none that I personally liked. My family and I will continue to be repeat customers as long as this high level of service is offered. read more

I recently had a nail stuck in my tire and went to Big O Tires. Right as I walked in they greeted me and immediately looked at my car to see what the problem was. Buyer Beware of Big O Tire Sierra Vista ( Prey on the elderly) My father whom is his 80's took his vehicle into Big O to have it looked at. The complaint was after having an alignment by another garage that the car still pulled to the right when going down the road. Big O put it up on the rack and told my father it needed another alignment, the rack & pinion needed to be replaced because it was leaking, and the tie rod needed to be replaced. All at a cost of over $1500. My father agreed to have the alignment and tie rod done. So after paying $400 to have the work done the car still pulled to the right. I ended up making an appointment for the car to be looked at by a shop in Tucson that I trust. After looking over the car the mechanic called me out to look under the car with him. As suspected nothing was wrong with the rack & pinion. The car go an alignment by Big O that it didn't need and more than likely the tie rod probably didn't need to be replaced. What we didn't know was the vehicle had been in an accident and that is what was causing the pull, the only way to fix it was with an auto body shop. Big O Tire in Sierra Vista seen an elderly man walk in the door and preyed on him. Karma will come back and bite you. read more

Husband was having a bad day, brakes went out on him and by the time I got there with new brakes he had also found out he had a flat tire. Took the flat tire to Big O and they found the problem, a hole in his rim. So took this tire back to husband and got his spare which was flat also. They were able to repair this tire and didn't charge me for it. Sitting in the waiting room you not only have a tv to watch but free coffee and sodas and deer heads to look at. read more

The team are very helpful, friendly, genuine, and the price is right. You can't ask for anything else when you go to these types of auto shops. They will give it to you straight and will not hard sell you on any products or services. Once you purchase your tires, you have the warranty, free tire rotation which comes in handy later. Story -- It was 6:30pm and I was about to head out across state lines to California when my tire blew out. Please note that my experience was so bad that if I could provide negative stars, I would do so. In short, the mechanic lied and said I needed over $500 of work or my vehicle would not be able to leave the property let alone start. I had to explain to him that though he said these tuneups were required, I'd been scammed before, and therefore would like a second opinion and would only like an oil change and my spark plugs replaced at that time. It took them an hour and a half to complete the work (I was charged for this so it is documented) and they were rude to boot. When they finally finished, lo and behold that my vehicle did indeed start without the additional work and quite contrary to that mechanics assurtions, I was able to drive off the property without incident. Needless to say if my vehicle does require additional servicing it will not be done by them! read more

I came in January for new tires and I've been twice for an oil change since then. They do good work, and I feel they are trust worthy (not break something just to get you back in) and there place is clean. I just wish the workers could be a bit more friendly and would speak up. When I went in to have one of the tires checked cause it wasn't holding air I was asked what number my account was under. I told them I didn't remember if it was mine or my spouses so I could give them both if needed. The guy helping me rolled his eyes and said he'd just put the license plate number in.
