This is one of two tire chains in town. I have been to either. Today I stopped in to get a tire patched. My rear passenger tire had a slow leak due to a screw stuck in it. I ended up getting a whole new tire as the old tire was already five years old and the tread was down to a rating of 2. I was waited on promptly and professuonally. Went here to get a tire replaced and we ended up replacing the two rear ones since they only had two. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got our service figured out pretty quickly but it was busy so we waited a while (45 min maybe) to get the service done. They also recommended getting the front two tires replaced as well since the tread depth from the old ones were different from the new ones and that would cause issues. They helped me find which stores nearby had the tires I needed in stock which was very helpful so I didn't have to call each one. read more

Was told it would only take 1.5 hours to change two TPMS that weren't responding. We came back in 1.5 hours and my vehicle hadn't moved. When I asked them about how much longer he said 30 minutes. We sat there for another 1.5 hours and still hadn't moved. When I asked to get my keys back and cancel it the guy didn't say sorry or anything just that it's been busy. I said if you would have told me it was going to take that long I'm the first place I would have made other arrangements. He didn't care. Will I go back?? Nope! read more

This is an update to my 9 June 2026 review in which I was blatantly lied to that the requested work on my Ram 3500 dually had been completed when in fact, no work whatsoever was done on my truck. After posting my review I received notice that the Discount Tire shop owner had replied to my review, and his reply was extremely disingenuous as he requested my contact info in order to make the situation correct. What was pathetic is that Discount Tire has my telephone number as its on the receipt for the work which was not done. I had a similar experience as Samuel's review of March 2023. Went in for a tire rotation and refused saying I needed new tires as they were down to the wear bars. Asking for a quote....I got some numbers written on scrap paper. After leaving and figuring the mileage on the other discount tires that came with the used car I purchased 1.5 years ago) I saw that these 50,000 mi tires only lasted less then 30,000 miles. Returned to talk to a manager (Jon) 2 days later to explain they conveniently forgot to apply a prorate discount. Jon then when looking at the spare (Never used) stated that it need replacing and that I would require 4 new tires. These guys are scam artists just trying to sell tires no matter what. I feel that I was not treated fairly and pressured to purchase today. Afterwards, I went to a different tire shop (more reputable) and was told I had 5,000 more miles left on the tires AND there was absolutely nothing wrong with the spare. Discount Tire blatantly lied to my face! Earlier today I took four loose trailer tires and my RAM 3500 dually into the Discount Tire Sierra Vista shop. I had telephoned the shop yesterday to get a price for the new trailer tires and to explain that I believed my dually had an unbalanced or un-round tire on the duals due to vibration I was experiencing. When I took the dually and tires in I reexplained the dually tire issue clearly stating that the rear dual tires needed to be removed and re-balanced. Roughly one hour later, a different employee brought me my key fob and said the work was done. I specifically asked if they had rebalanced the rear dual tires as requested, and he told me that they had and that there was some minor re-balancing accomplished. On my 35 mile drive home I noticed no difference with the vibration issue, and at home I crawled under the dually to see if in fact they had actually even removed the dual rear wheels. Under inspection I can clearly see hard caked mud on the inside of one of the dual rears clearly indicating that they had not removed and rebalanced the tires as requested and as they said they did. The employee clearly and blatantly lied to my face. Evidently, if there is no significant financial benefit to this Discount Tire shop, such as purchasing new tires, they will simply lie to you to get you on your way. I'm thinking that I may file a lawsuit against the shop as tires are a safety issue, and the employee and the shop are certainly exhibiting negligent actions. Today was the second time I have had to inquire about the status of my car at this location only to find out after over an hour that they haven't actually even pulled it in the bay. It was blamed on the them being busy but it wasn't mentioned when I dropped it off for my appointment and didn't appear busy at the time. Yesterday, when I went in to make my purchase and scheduled my appointment, a gentleman came up to the counter and said that they had not rotated his tires as requested and that he had already been there for a couple of hours. read more

Scheduled an appt on Thursday for Saturday to replace two sensors - oxygen and TPMS. When I arrived the customer service rep said they only replace the TPMS. She confirmed that it would only take an hour. After an hour my car had not even been moved. I asked how much longer it would be and she told me there were 4 cars in front of mine and would be another 1/2 hour. It ended up taking two hours from the time of my appt. This is the second time this has happened with Discount Tire. When I went to the local store, I specifically asked the employee who was assisting me, if I went through the app, would there be any rebates on Michelin tires? He assured me there were no rebates. When I told a relative of mine that I had purchased Michelin tires, they asked me if I had gotten the 80 dollar rebate that was on their app. I went to the app, and sure enough there was a rebate for 80 dollars on the exact tires I had just purchased. I emailed the corporate office letting them know how unhappy I was. They emailed me back stating that they would contact management at the local store, and someone would contact me in two business days. Of course that never happened, and I was ignored. How could they treat a loyal customer of almost 40 years and a veteran in this poor manner? I'm done with Discount Tire, they could care less about their loyal customers in my opinion. read more

I had to give feedback on my experience today with Discount tires on Fry Blvd, in Sierra vista AZ. I had a warranty in the system from when I purchased two tires about 1yr ago, and I only wanted a tire rotation, but much to my surprise I was denied the rotation, because one of my other tires were still good but didn't meet the quota for a rotation. This is the bad experience I have had with Discount tire & it's called America tires in CA. So I was told by the sales guy in order for me to get a tire rotation I had to buy a new tire which is BS, because I already had a free tire rotation in the system. They do everything & anything to sell you tires or any other services they offer even though you already purchased it & have a warranty or free tire rotation due you. They find every excuse & then they bust out a book with pics to explain their lies of why you need new tires or whatever services, I have had way better service & prices at Big O Tires, & I will never buy anything from Discount tires/America Tires. That said, if you decide to take a chance you have been warned about service, excuses & not following through with the warranty and tire rotation scam, but never again. read more

Today I had an appointment to get one new tire right after they opened and was told that it was going to take about 45 minutes. 45 minutes later, they finally brought my truck into the bay to start and I was told that they were already running behind!?!? According to their "Journey Tracker", my truck was "in bay" with an estimated completion time of 9:16. At 10:04, the "Journey Tracker" said that it was bayed out, service completed, while still sitting in the bay. 15-20 minutes later, I asked what the status was and was told that they were just tightening up a few little things. It was not until 10:48 that they actually pulled my truck out of the bay and after 10:50 before they called for me, sitting in the waiting area the entire time (because it was only going to be 45 minutes!!!). I have locking lug nuts and a special key that I provided along with a card warning not to use power tools, only hand tools in order to not damage or break the lugs and/or the key. When I got in my truck, I found the key but not the warning card. The technician that says he worked on my truck didn't remember seeing it. It was in the same bag as the key. I totally believe that they didn't use power tools on it because they have been so completely honest about everything else so far today. read more

I stopped just to have my tire pressure checked and filled to 33lbs per sq inch. The so called tech insisted on 35psi i told him 33 all the way around, this is according to the car and Tire manufacturer, the sticker on the car door even shows 33psi but discount tire tech still insisted on 35psi, told him NO, he said they recommend 35psi I told him again the owner manual, the sticker on door and even the tires themselves say 33psi. He walked away saying 35pdi so I just left without tire check of any kind. Very disappointed since I had gone to them for all tire issues even the purchase of the tires. I was misrepresented. I went in on a rainy day, had one tire that was low checked. I knew I probably needed a new tire because it did not hold pressure. When the rep came out, he said I needed four new tires, but they didn't even keep this low end brand in stock. I paid with a card approximately $1500 for four tires , Michelin. . The next day I decided to drive to Tucson where I still have warranty on my car and thought maybe I had warranty on my tires . I realized with their assistance my last check up was in August I definitely needed two tires , but absolutely not four. I replaced the two tires and it cost me less than half. My car decided to grab a screw or nail from somewhere and had a slow leak. That is to say it was fine yesterday , but this morning I wake up to find a flat. The tire wouldn't take air, so I put on a spare. The spare wasn't full size , so it's temporary. Having to take kids to school but not wanting to risk issues driving on a donut I made it to discount tires. I was early and they don't open till 8AM. After waiting around till then they quickly processed the 4 that were ahead of me and got around to working on my car. Tire pressure indicator came on in my vehicle and I noticed a small piece of metal at the top of one of my tires and could feel air coming out. Came into discount tire and waited in the check-in lane. One of their staff eventually came up and asked what was wrong. I explained what was happening and he took a look at the tire. Told me there was a piece of metal on the side of the tire and it couldn't be repaired. told me to find a parking space and he would meet me inside and to discuss options. I go inside and question the metal on the side of the tire and he pointed to a sign that had a picture of a tire with red on the sides and green on the top. He tried to sell me a tire that didn't match my other tires and suggested I get four new tires for $800. I went back out to my vehicle and had my older son double check the leak and he said he could feel it coming out on top and we could clearly see a small piece of metal right in the center of the tire not the side. We double-checked the side of the tire just to make sure and couldn't see anything. Went down the road to Jack Furrier, they had my tire fixed and I was back on the road in 20 minutes. No charge. They confirmed the metal piece was on the actual tread in the middle of the tire, not the side. Been a Discount Tire customer for a long time. This just seemed like a blatant scam quite honestly. I do not know anything about tire shops, but I do know that when we had an unexpected flat, irreparable tire, this shop took care of us quickly and with great customer service. Our vehicle was towed to the shop around 10:15 a.m. After selecting a replacement tire, we were told the car would be ready around noon. Instead, we were driving away with our new tire by 11:20 after spending a short time in the clean, spacious waiting room. Our tow truck driver suggested coming to this business rather than the Toyota dealership because it would save us some money and we are glad we did. read more

Let me first Xpress that I have been a customer of discount tire in Sierra Vista Arizona every since they open which is quite of a number of years I even brought more customers to discount tire. In the past service was always great never a problem. However my recent experience has been very disappointing Somewhere around the 12th or 15th of this month I took my car in to have a flat fixed. The gentleman that helped me initially asked for the keys and I told him They were in the car, he went out to get the mileage from the car. after waiting for more than an hour someone went out to start the car and bring it into the bay, the car battery was dead or discharge so much that they could not start the car, they tried to jump it with a portable jumper which did not work. They left me stranded with a non running car. I had to call an Uber to get home, I came back with my pick up truck my jumping cables and started the car. I drove the car home let it run until it was charged when I shut the car off I noticed that the headlights were on, I do not run my car during the day with headlights on. It is my suspicion that the man that went out to check the mileage simply turn the headlights on which also Turns on the dash lights to read the mileage and left the car headlights on which discharge the battery. When I noticed an hour later someone was trying to jumpstart my car I went out to see What was wrong. The young man that was trying to jumpstart the car accused me of leaving the key on or something like that, I proceeded to tell him that I did not leave a key on and the car was working just fine when I stopped. I also started to tell him about the man that went out to check for the mileage, but the second young man I was talking to was talking to me in an Condescending and disrespectful manner and demanded that I not be aggressive with him, which means I should not be trying to start a war with him. I told the young man I was not being aggressive I was simply trying to find out what was wrong with my car. I believe that because I got the car to charge up and with the headlights not draining the power, I never had any more issues I have started and driven and stop the car at least 20 times with no issues. I walked back to discount tire a distance of about a mile to retrieve my truck. The second problem occurred yesterday when I went in to ask about the cost of TPMs for the tires, I ask how much they would be and I was told they were $60 apiece plus installation. Just seemed a bit high to me so I went on Marketplace and check them out and I bought four of them for less than $10 apiece, I was not aware that discount tire has such a huge markup, That markup represents 600%. read more

Prices are great too. They're almost always pretty busy so if you're waiting, expect it to be long. Customer service is usually great and everybody there takes you seriously. I purchased all six of my tires for my Dodge 3500 dually from Discount Tire. The truck started responding oddly on the highway into Sierra Vista, Arizona. I checked the truck's TPMS and discovered all the tires were low by about 20psi per tire. I stopped into the local dealer who had set up an express tire pressure and inflation lane. I was directed to the line of vehicles. When I reached the front of the line, the tech told me he couldn't check nor fill any of the four dually tires. At 12:30 pm on a Saturday, D & M Tire was closed for the day. I needed a tire repair after coming back to town. It's been years since I've been to Discount Tire; thought I would give them another shot as we wanted to use the vehicle again Sunday morning. I called in to see if they had time to fix a flat. The guy on the other end of the phone (I didn't understand when he said his name) told me sure, it'll be about 45 minutes. Since I live only a few minutes away, I asked if I could wait about 40 minutes and then bring my vehicle so I didn't have to sit around. The answer was an immediate (and very well practiced) "no", as "it would only get worse." Since I want to use that vehicle again tomorrow, I put air in the tire accepting my fate as an unimportant person to Discount Tire. I noticed the light truck tire was leaking from the sidewall at that point, so I knew it couldn't be fixed. I also knew from past experience, that no one in town would carry that particular sized light truck tire. To me, Discount Tire had a chance to get some of my business back and maybe sell me a pair of light truck tires.
