I appreciated being able to go online late Sunday night to secure an appointment for Monday morning. Jose pulled up my information right away and saw that I needed a tpc reset, which I had done myself as detailed in the manual, but although I was able to clear the error condition on the display, the psi's were just a little off. So I asked them to redo the reset and do a safety check on my tires. After a short time Jose came to me and handed back my key fob with a big smile on his face, saying every was now ok. Eric and Tony were amazing! We had 6 new tires installed at the SanTanValley, AZ location, 2 had the valve stems installed incorrectly. Needless to say we had the air go out on an inside tire and were stuck for 6 hours on the side of the freeway. I had no faith in Big O after that but needed to get the flat fixed and my spare reinstalled. This store went above and beyond and they were super quick. This store has reasonable prices on tires however I went in to buy one tire only and Jose tried to sell me four tires. Watch these guys !!! My other 3 tires are just fine. Sure, there are minor Desert Cracks which will happen this coming summer as well. They must be working on commission. They also messed with ALL of my control buttons ! They rolled the driver's window up so far that it almost busted the window out of my car when they rolled the window up too far. Made an appt for service, oil change, rotation. I am a woman who has had several cars, trucks and vans. I come from a auto lovers family. And, know alot about automotive vehicles, buying, selling and maintaining. I'm also a bussiness owner for over fifty years and take pride in customer service with our customers. Today, I went to Big O Tires for an appointment for an oil change. The person who checked me in, at first accepted the adverised price of $69.99 for full synthetic oil and then proceeded to increase it to $150.00. When I asked for a detailed quote he started by telling me that he was going to give me a bigger discount. Then quoted me $101.00. At that point, I requested an itemized quote in detail. He insisted on raising his voice and telling me randon nunbers, I asked to speak to a manager. This employee Victor Morgan now said that he was the manager. And then, he told me that I could go to Jiffy Lube or somewhere else for my oil change. In essence, to take my car somewhere else. Wow. This manager, Vincent Morgan got loud and tried to bully me into just saying yes without a clear quote. Clearly, he didn't like my simple questions related to his quotes. (I was just asking what I was expected to pay for.) I have never encountered such bullyness, rudeness, or such a bad attitude from a service oriented bussiness. This is my second time at this location, the next time I need a oil change I'll be going somewhere else. Unnecessary rudeness and poor business practices. Lots of places to choose from who appreciate good customers. Additional Note* Interesting, as I was stepping away from the counter the next customer also asked to speak to the manager. The customer was complaining about charges that were not previously disclosed in his quote. Now I was witnessing another customer being subjected to loud and defensiveness coming from this manager Victor Morgan. The customer wouldn't let up since the work was already done, Vincent then started back stepping and finally reduced the customers bill. I wasn't as lucky. No apologys. I just wanted to get my car and leave. When I walked over to accept my car, I found oil dirtyness on my white leather seats. No protective plastic was provided even though I had requested it and until it was already soiled. After, they did clean off my seat, I then noticed that someone had wiped an area of my outside door panel with something that stained the glossy black section of my driver's door. This was not a good experience. After, verifing the paint damage, Manager Victor Morgan did say to take my car to a detailer and that Big O Tires would pay for it. Will see. read more

Went in for a "free" suspension and steering evaluation plus a roatation (which I was told I'd pay for but never explicitly told the exact amount). After about 45min I was called and told they were finished and that I had a pretty large list of work that needs to be done. I arrived shortly after only only to find out that my tires could not be rotated due to their low tread depth levels and that I had to pay $150 for the evaluation. (which was listed under "LAB" for labor, in the reciept) Instead of paying $150 and throwing away 2 hours, why not take a tread gauge and measure BEFORE service so customers and service techs don't have to waste time? Seriously, comptetition over at America's Tire does it EVERY time PRIOR to getting on their computers and putting anything in. Oh well, time to get some more quotes elsewhere! (also I got quoted $249.00 x4 for 2 separate parts that go for $70-120 each) read more

I do not recommend this tire shop. I dropped off my car for a nail in my tire and they said my tires were too worn. They would not fix it and so I had limited options. When I picked up the car, I asked to see the old tires and found that they were not worn down to the wear bar as was described. They sold me new tires that I did not need at a premium price when my tires had plenty of life remaining. read more

I went there to have my tires rotated. Because I would not buy a new set of tires, THEY MADE AN ADJUSTMENT TO MY ENGINE WHICH CAUSED MY ENGINE TO NOT IDLE AND STALL. Fortunately the mechanic who has done repairs on my car was across the parking lot and was able to simply tighten the hose clamp which had been loosened enough to cause my car to not run properly. read more

If you want to feel taken advantage of and threatened when you question the way they preform work then come here! The "men" working on cars only work hard enough to make you spend more money. Scam artists, con artists, but definitely not mechanics. This place just like the employees working there are a joke. Take your car in for a minor issue, leave with multiple big issues. Oh and they don't like being called out for the issues they caused. It makes them feel "disrespected" THEN they threaten you and THEN try and bash you at your own place of employment. Time to find another tire shop. Accidents happen, so they say. But this is the second set of wheels they've damaged. They did offer to pay for the repairs. I'm sure that won't cover the down time for the vehicle and the wheel to be powder coated? The inconvenience is probably more of a problem than the gouge and scratches. Word of advise for Big O, Make sure the tire personnel can handle the tire machines without damaging the customers wheels. With that said, I appreciate the honesty. I guess they didn't have to say a word? The negligence is just too much to take any of my 10 vehicles back. read more

I brought my SUV into Big O Tires this morning after I discovered a screw imbedded in my back tire. My tire gauge monitor had come on a few times leading me to the problem. I asked to just have the tire plugged. The manager asked if I had purchased my tires there previously, I told him I had. He told me he would check to make sure and took my keys. After waiting almost 45 minutes he brought me out to the garage to my suspended SUV and with the "Tech" told me there was to much "Wear & Tear" on my tires, since I bought them 5 years ago, so he couldn't patch the tire! The tires are far from bald and in those 5 years I have not put that many miles on the car. He told me flat out "The tech said" (as the "Tech" stood there) they couldn't plug the tire as the tires were to worn! Really? Are you kidding me? You're saying it's safer to leave here with a screw in my tire that deflates everyday than plugging it! I mentioned I would come back soon to replace the tires if that were the case as Id bought the last ones there, he said NO! He couldn't plug the tire! This company just lost my business for life! thats well over $1500 just for the tires! Went to Marks Chevron, on Ramon & Landau, $20 and patched in 15 minutes! read more

We were in the desert to visit our son and we're preparing to drive back to Northern California when we noticed our indication light was on for low tire pressure. Before we traveled we had our vehicle serviced at our local Big O so we knew it wasn't just low tire pressure. We called this location and the guy said to come on in and they'll look at it. No guarantee on time however because they had appointments lined up. We arrived at 8am and they found a huge nail and within 30 minutes we were on the road. We were in a bind, our truck had a flat and the spare was also flat, my husband had to go to work and we didn't want to replace all of our tires. We got our truck towed to these guys and I was super surprised at how efficient they were, I expected this to be an all day inconvenience. My truck and I were dropped off and I was helped almost immediately, apparently there was a screw in our tire (like the fourth time) and I also needed the spare to be fixed. The guy was super nice (forgot his name) and tried to give me a deal for all of the tires which was a good price, I just couldn't do it at that time. They started working on it right after finishing with another customer and I was out in an hour or so. Awesome, I had the whole day to do whatever as I was home by 10am or so. A friend was visiting from out of town and rolled over a curb shredding a tire. AAA told us we would have to wait until Monday to get the tire repaired - no one was opened over the weekend. Mohica towing towed the car home but also told us Big O tires was opened on Sunday. Called Big O on Sunday morning and they repalced 2 tires and had us going in less than 3 hours.
