I just had my car there and Chris the technician and the entire staff were very professional and courteous. They were able to assist me with a CV axle issue a radiator issue and an AC issue. They went out of their way to go get parts and make sure that everything was completed in a timely manner. I really appreciate all their hard work and efforts. read more

They should rename the store to "Bait and Switch"! Quoted one price on the phone by Lisa of $89.00 but when I went to pay the bill was $114.00 When they pulled up my previous work record and agreed with me on the price I was charged, they simply did not give a damn but gave plenty of excuses about how taxes and California disposal fees were not included in the price. It's not the $25 difference but the principle. They definitely do not know how to take care of this customer (last time) as when Tony was running the shop! To add insult to injury, they promised the car to be ready in an hour. Closer to two hours! Tony's replacements are pathetic when it comes to customer relations. Condescending. Had to persuade the skinny guy at the front to look at my issue with my brakes and his first response was no I can't look at it because someone else already worked on it. Who cares?!? In the end, it was a brake line which was loose as I took it to another shop and they fixed the issue at no charge. Never liked this place in the beginning when I had to pick up my friend who had her car done there once and today's visit confirmed it. The Midas on Ramon in Cat city has so much better customer service and they are always busy. This is my run around Audi. I was searching around a few weeks ago, just to have a brake inspection and went to Pep Boys on Hwy. 111. The guy at the front desk could care less of getting my business. So rude. You would think during Covid, that people would be a little nicer, and want your business, I guess not. So I went to Midas again just to check it out, found out it was under new ownership. I recently purchased 4 new tires at America's Tire Co. off Hwy 111 and they recommended me to Midas in Indio for a wheel alignment. I had to make an appointment - no problem for me, I actually prefer scheduling an appointment. I can't remember the gentleman's name but he was so helpful! And honest! I thought I might need some service done on my A/C but he asked me some questions and turns out it's something that should be covered under my car's warranty. He could've easily charged me the $100+ but instead told me I should take it to my dealership where they could fix it at no cost. I really appreciated his honesty as well as his excellent customer service.
