They drove me home for those three hours and sent someone to pick me up later. It would have been an inexpensive trip except that I needed new tires. To their credit, they didn't try to upsell me on the tires. They gauged the level of my previous tires and recommended the same range. Quick, honest, and offering shuttle service. Made an appointment from out of town on 8/26/2025 for 2pm had a dentist appointment at 4pm. Arrived a little late 2:10 due to the rain. 8/26/2025 They took some cars ahead of me is the first thing i was told when at the counter The wait for oil change and tire rotation is pretty long even with an appointment... Timeframe below: Patiently waited until got a worried It is 3:30 and they mention another 30 mins.. 3:50pm just heard the guy calling in for a part they don't have and to make it a priority... 3:54pm went up asked the guy what the hold up was and they did not have a drain plug.. 4:01pm my dentist appointment is out the door... Called next appointment is in 2 weeks.. 4:10pm still nothing.... 4:20 i am out and the manager gave me a discount for the wait and apologized read more

This is my husband's go-to shop for work needed on his GMC Yukon Denali. Always able to get a fast appointment and the prices are reasonable. I needed new tires on my BMW 328i and a rotation, which was performed same day. Gus recommended new struts as the originals were shot, so will be taking it in this week for that service. Gus is super easy to work with and didn't require a down payment for the parts. I had trouble with my hood latch working and Luiz offered to fix it before we left for no charge. He got the hood open (no one else at the shop could) and lubricated and wire brushed the connections and voila! The hood opens without any trouble! Really glad to have mechanics we can trust that are so close to our home. read more

A week ago I complained about an incompetent Goodyear tire store. Now let me tell you about a Good Goodyear! I put my old, VW take off tires & wheels up for sale on Marketplace. I don't really need 5 of the wrong size spare tires anyway. Well, those sold within an hour. The spare in the trunk is old but has excellent tread. Only problem is it won't hold air. The tire itself is good, no punctures. It's that the tire leaks around the bead on both sides at the rim. Probably just old & crusty but something has to be done because even if it's the wrong size, I can't take a chance on getting stuck on some dirt back road. Especially with Robin's upcoming knee replacement surgery. I mean, she's only good for pushing maybe 5 miles as it is...6 tops. And a flat tire & fake knee will most certainly diminish her pushing distance that much more. Anyway, I took the tire, at my brother's suggestion, to the nearby Daniel's Goodyear. As I rolled it toward the office, a guy came out and said "Let's see what you've got" I told him I knew it was old but I needed some kind of spare as I'm sure my wife would much rather change a flat that push the car. He understood completely. His wife must not be that great of a pusher either. He said he'd check it out and to come back in a couple hours. So I did. When I got back he met me at the bay door again and said "It's all fixed, it was just dirt & rust around the rim. I cleaned it all up and put in a new valve stem and you're good to go" "That's great!" I replied. I was figuring and new inner tube at least. "How much do I owe you?" ...."How about $10.? Man, I couldn't beat that! I've only been to Daniel's tires twice but so far, as far as great customer service, we're 2 for 2! read more

Was told to come in a 8am for wheel alignment, would get me out 45min to an hour. Got there was quoted an hour to 90 minutes. Ok I had time, 90 min later my car had moved. Question the guy, let me check on it. Came back and said I don't know how long. "Go fine out" He came back and said at least another hour, there having a hard time aligning the car from last night. LAST NIGHT! You got to be kidding, and you didn't think of advising me? Give me my keys. Went across the street, got in right away and had excellent service. Back on June 27th I wrote a one-star review, but the real problem was that I was not aware of the service quality DANIEL'S TIRE SERVICE provides. The first mistake I made was not ensuring what service level the technicians would provide, and I was not clear to the manager that I was pressed for time. The technicians were professional and the business model includes "check all fluids and top off." While I was waiting impatiently I decided to bad-yelp the shop. Later that day the owner tracked me down and spent his personal time explaining to me recent changes to tire services, which included liabilities. I should have been more clear with the manager about my expectations. Regarding the owner, he's a very responsive owner, cares about customer service, and customer satisfaction. I apologize publicly for reacting abruptly and yelping without getting more information. DANIEL'S TIRE SERVICE is an A1 shop and business, and it has an owner that cares about customers! Our business has been going to Daniels Tire Service for a good amount of time now, and they've always been a reliable company to count on, I'm not surprised why our boss always sends our vehicles here so often. They serviced my trucks brakes that were obnoxiously loud at one point. They Fixed the brakes + resurfaced the rotors as requested by the end of the day. Called on 2/3/2022 for a wheel alignment to make reservations for an appointment on Saturday 2/5/2022. Was told they would need an hour and a half to two hours to complete the job and to drop it off anytime during the day. Arrived at 11:45 AM, now they said it would take approximately until 3 PM to complete the job. Left the vehicle. No update at 3 PM, so called and they said we were next in line for service. Called at 4:15 and told that they would have to hold our vehicle till Monday since there was much needed alignment corrections. It is understandable the position one puts themselves in when they overbook, but there is no need to argue with the customer about why the work wasn't completed when promised or why they wouldn't update the customer. A mere sorry and we can make it up to you the following week would be appropriate. Poor time management and poor customer service. But dealing with this company at the Indio location we have never had a problem. read more

I took my car for oil change early this week. Since they don't take appointment I was there right before 8am, when they open the business. I was the second person to get into the office, but It took almost two hours before my car was ready. I have noticed my car was still sitting for an hour in the parking lot before they took my car in for service. It was a bit surprise. However, these folks are very professional, courteous, & reasonable price. I took my cars before to this shop for air in the tires, & other occasion for tire inspection. They never charged me anything after spending times. It is very rear today that you will walk out free for any minor works! That is why I will still give five stars. read more

Checked in and expected a couple of hours of switching cars, changing schedules, etc, when the assistant calmly told me they'd have it done in about an hour. He lied. It was 45 minutes! Went to daniels tire for an oil change.. left with reception guy saying that I needed two new control arms. He also said my rear brakes and roters were medal to medal... he told me everything would cost about 3000... but I can take my time in getting things slowly.. so I had a second opinion with my personal mechanic and found out that everything they said was a lie.. please have your car checked by someone else.. this place is a scam.. I'm a local a person. And to try and scam my wife.. it's really bad... Daniels needs to be investigated for fraudulent quotes and check ups. read more

I was surprisingly impressed with the greeting, I was welcomed in by the person behind the desk (Jose) he was polite and had an outstanding attitude. He did a fantastic job of multitasking he was able to help the person in front of me, and the person on the phone all at the same time without making anyone feel like they were not important. Lenard was amazing also. Not sure if either is a manager or just an employee either way they do a great job of taking care of their customers. I was reluctant to bring my car here but I am glad I took a chance on this company. The Indio shop was good also. Even though they couldn't fix my car they still displayed great customer service. The tech the fixed my car was great also. When I came back to get my car fixed before I walked into to shop he greeted me and took my keys and immediately started to work on my car. This place is awesome! I love writing reviews for people that truly deserve a great review. I went into this shop on Thursday looking to get new tires and rims for my husbands vehicle. They took so much time working with me to find the perfect rims for my husband. I was literally there for two hours trying to figure out the perfect rims to surprise him for his birthday. The customer service at this shop is so incredible. During my (lengthy) time of figuring out which rims to get, I saw them give great customer service to every single person that walked in and every person that works there seems to just want the best for their clients. They don't try and oversell you, they tell you what's up. They order the rims on Thursday when I was there, tires they had by Friday and they went and picked up the rims Saturday morning. I took the car in the same Saturday in the afternoon and they put on the new tires and rims. 5 stars all across the board. The rims are beautiful. The tires are beautiful. They have a clean facility and again they are so helpful (and patient). So glad I came here. read more

I recently bought a Jeep Wrangler used. Since it had more than two previous owners I decided it was best to have it inspected. Being new to the desert I didn't have a regular mechanic. I found them on yelp and gave them a call. I believe the guy I dealt with was Jose. He was very thorough and explained everything to me. I about fell down we when he told me the cost was $62.00. The battery in my Prius went dead. Took it to I10 Toyota Wednesday at about 4pm. They said that they don't have any batteries and don't know when they will get one. And, they had no rentals to offer. They jump started me and wished me luck finding a battery. I drove home and the car died in my garage. I called around to other dealership, auto parts stores with no luck. This morning Leonard responded to an email I sent to Daniels Tire. I called him and he said he could get a Prius battery. I bought my car from CarMax and purchased the extended service plan. When they were closed at the beginning of the pandemic, I needed service. I took my 2015 Outback to Daniel's. They were professional, quick and thorough. Recently I have had to returned there for a minor thing (tire pressure light). Again they were fantastic. Seriously Leonard is a life saver!! I was in town for a wedding and woke up to a flat tire after driving from 2 hours away with 2 kids! Carmax had sent me here when I was having trouble with my Nissan Sentra. Overall the customer service was fine, but regarding my "repair" was just horrible. Went in to get my breaks fixed because they were rubbing together really bad, well less than a week later same problem, but worse. I also had my ac serviced, my ac was blowing hot air and it also was not strong, well needless to say they ended up fixing my air to be cold but still not strong and it took over four days to fix this issue and every time my husband and i were to call regarding my car we would get a run around story only to find out my car was still not even being looked at. Car Max needs to find a different establishment to work with because they are just wasting there money with them. read more
