I was told that I had 4 lug nuts total that we're not correct I said one of your locations is striping my lug nuts I have this issue every time I go back for a tire rotation . So you tell me that you can't put on 4 lug nuts back on because it's not safe . So instead you leave them off So I will put them on my self . That makes a no sense . So not having the 5 lug nuts on . Bought tires online as I was on a budget and came in to have them installed. I chose Americas Tire because I did not trust a local shop, my mistake. Antonio R made the comment 'these tires won't last as long as your last ones' and took it upon himself to add on the 'certificates' Without telling me he did it or even talking about what the certificates would cover. It took a week before I realized I had been charged another 30% for something I Did Not want OR Ask for. How many other people has Antonio done this to?! I just checked my breaks because of a weird sound and the back break caliper bolts were missing from the same tire that was replaced. They were there a month ago when I changed the break pads myself. They had to have been removed by this shop. There was no reason to remove them to change my tire, so this was done with malice. Over a complete misunderstanding about a phone. This is gross negligence. This could have resulted in an accident, an injury, a death. This is absolutely agregaos behavior by Mike and any other employees involved. Unbelievable. I came in for an air pressure check. Didn't have to wait for long and Joshua told me to move forward. He asked me if I have been here before, and I said no and said that I'm actually here on vacation with a rental car, Kia Niro EV 2024. Told him that I didn't know how to use an electric vehicle and it's my first time. He was very understanding! Told him that I was worried about the car's left front and rear right tires because they're missing the valve caps. Joshua added air to all 4 tires for me and gave free valve caps for the two tires even though it's just a rental car. I didn't feel safe driving with it with low pressure, but after with Joshua's help, I feel safe being back in the road! He also tried to help me calibrate or reset the low pressure tire symbol but it wouldn't clear. He told me to drive at least 25 miles and I did and the symbol disappeared later. I'm happy that Joshua didn't make me pay for the valve caps, especially when the car isn't even mine. In general, I do think it's something very nice that Joshua did this or it's America's Tire overall. Didn't think they will have valve caps. Thank you, Joshua! I went to Americas Tire for what I thought would be a routine check. They claimed my tire was completely ripped, which didn't sit right with me. I decently know my way around cars and keep up with all maintenance. When I politely declined and said I needed to get going, they really laid on the pressure, asking me, 'Where do you want to get towed to?' Feeling uneasy, especially since I was about to drive three hours, I went to a second tire shop for a second opinion. They were honest and showed me that it was just normal wear and tear. It's unsettling to think America's Tire was willing to prey on my concerns instead of just giving me the truth. It felt like they were more interested in making a sale than in helping me out. While driving out to the desert I noticed that my tires on our Kia Sedona were in bad shape. I could actually start seeing parts of the wire mesh in the tire. So I called this place and spoke to Roberto. He was very friendly, patient with my questions and seemed up front with pricing and available discounts. After calling I decided to head out there and see if they could change it before they closed at 6pm. I got there around 4:40pm and was promptly greeted and helped by Hal. He checked my car and then we proceed to talk about the tires he had in stock. I told him I spoke to Roberto who already gave me a price on tires and he quickly found the tires and quoted the same price that Roberto gave me over the phone. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to upsell me which was my bad experience at other places. So I paid for the tires which was a fair price compared with other places and I was told it would take about 45 minutes. And 45 minutes later my car was done and I was on my way. I am not exaggerating. This location of America's Tires has the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE of any business I have ever encountered. Anywhere. This is not just my opinion, either. I recently gave them a "shout out," on a local social media page, and my post received over 165 extremely positive comments within a day or two. There was not a single negative post. During my latest encounter, I drove in with a relatively new car that clearly was not yet ready for tires. One tire was registering low. It turned out I had picked up a screw. They removed my tire, which was a bit of an exotic, repaired the leak, brought all my other tires up to spec and even checked the cost of replacing the special-order tires for when I was ready. All of this happened in 20 minutes. There was NO CHARGE. And everyone is nice. Really nice. They asked if I had sold my previous car, (in a friendly, conversational way), and if we still had our second vehicle, so they clearly keep good track of their customers. We have been going to Americas Tires for 10 years or so and this is ALWAYS the experience. And, by the way, prices are completely competitive with other places. You can't go wrong. I actually enjoy giving them business. These people know how to treat people. read more
