Everything from start to finish was top notch. Calling the store, very friendly and professional greeting - no matter who answers. That little detail helped establish trust for me at the very start. I needed 3 tires (yeah, I know - a weird combination and ordinarily you wouldn't be buying 3 tires...). Rudy was the main person I was working with and was an absolute delight to work with. He presented me with 3 options for tires instead of just pushing the ultra performance tires that the dealer says "is the only option". After spending time discussing the pros/cons with Rudy I was able to make my own informed choice, again zero pressure and very helpful info. While I don't want to buy tires again anytime soon, America's tires has won my loyalty and will be recommended to friends/family. Stopped in on my way from Phoenix to LA to make sure my tire pressure was good. First, I waited almost an hour in line to get my tire pressure checked. There were only 4 cars in front of me. Next was the concerning part. The younger guy doing the pressure check went inside and out came this larger muscle guy wearing a black America's Tire shirt instead of the usual red. He came up to my car, introduced himself and asked how I was doing. I said I was good, and asked him how he was. He dramatically huffed "I'm exhausted!" He checked my tires, then came back and told me that my rear driver side tire was "completely bald" (his words), and that my front passenger side tire was ready to split. He told me "No way are you going to make it to LA," and then told me that I needed to replace these two tires immediately, and instructed me to park by the front door. Oddly enough, I made it to LA that day and back home to Phoenix safely, and without having to buy tires. Also he never mentioned my rear passenger tire which, according to their own email they sent on my tire health after this visit, had the least amount of tread. Weird, huh? It totally felt like he was trying to push and sell tires on me, and even try to scare me into buying tires. I got a bad vibe, said thanks and left. I went to a local gas station, checked my tires, then went to another America's Tire where they said my tires have some wear and tear on them after two years and being in the desert, but nothing alarming like the previous guy said. Then when I got home, just to make sure, I went to a local America's/Discount Tire (that's what they are in AZ), and got the same story - tires looked pretty good for being two years old, and traveling in the desert and had some wear and tear. If you wanna be scammed and scared into buying things you don't need, this is the spot. Never again for this location. read more

I do not recommend this location for free air check. I pulled in to the line and there were three cars in front of me. I don't know what the tech was doing, but half the time he was inside. After 25 minutes of waiting with two cars in front of me I pulled out of line and departed. Someone at this location needs to look at the process because in Arizona discount tire gets you in and out quickly even if there's a line. So disappointing. read more

I have been a loyal customer 12 years now and I went to have air checked since climate has cooled off for fall. I was the only one in line and every single guy I asked if they would come and check air pressure was too busy to deal with me when they had two customers in the store . I went to this location today and I must say, the disturbing trend of poor experiences with this shop has prompted me to finally write a review. I pulled into the area where they do free air checks today. It was 11:20am at the time. there was one car getting air and a Chevy van in front of me. When it was the van's turn, the attendant began to chat with the driver. A senior woman who was by herself. This is where it got stupid. The young employee talked with this lady for over 20 minutes BEFORE he even told her to pull up to where the air machine was. Then, he proceeded to talk to her for another period of time until....she drove off!!!! No air in her tires. He did not do anything for her except talk to her. By the time he came to me, I was understandably pissed. I asked him what the holdup was after waiting for over a half hour and he said, "I think she just needed someone to talk to". WTF??? People have places to go, things to do!!!! He had 2 other vehicles waiting behind me and he seemed totally unconcerned whatsoever about how long we were in line waiting. It took me 43 minutes from pulling up to getting the air in my tires. What are we doing?????? Unacceptable Americas Tire. Poor, poor oversight by management, poor training and a poor display of customer service with no hint of apology when I voiced my concerns. The young man acted as if it was no big deal. Yeah, wasting time on the clock of your job instead of actually doing the EASIEST job one could have there. This is after having a horrible experience buying tires from them in February. My previous tires bought from there only lasted 18Kmi (rated for 60k mi) and I had to spend a ton of $$$ to buy 4 more due to the extremely poor quality. Also, my spouse went to get a tire rotation, and they REFUSED to do it on the grounds that the tires were "too old". This is a second car that rarely gets driven over 2,000mi a year. So, even with ample tread, they refused service based on the age of the tire only. They are only out to sell you tires. Or waste your time! It will be our last time dealing with this location. Excellent service from John in the sales room, he helped me with ordering a specific tire in a specific size I wanted that was not the standard size for my car. He researched the size compatibility and to make certain the size would work he had a similar tire in that size mounted on my wheel and put on the car to check the clearances...before ordering my tires. They were perfect. The only issue I had with this visit (and I've purchased my last two sets of tires here with no issue) was that the person servicing my car replaced the valve stems but 3 of the 4 were of one type, and the 4th was of another; even the valve stem caps were not interchangeable. I went back the next day to have the one valve stem replaced with one matching the others. John was not working that day and another sales person helped me. However he made excuses and said the stems were similar and work with the car. I had to insist that they all match...and they should. He did however get my car into the service bay were the stem was switched out with one of the same type as the others. Still, I do recommend this store, they have otherwise been excellent to work with. I don't anticipate any future problems read more
