Waited a few mos to post this. Have usually used Big O in the past, and went in to have tires rotated a few mos ago. The guy who brought the car back around tried to convince me that the tires on my car were not self-seal, when in fact they are. This Einstein actually argued with me right there in the parking lot. Well, today it cost them a big sale--went to Discount Tire, where I bought 4 new tires for $1,132. The people at Discount were great and, unlike the Fountain Big O, actually know what they're talking about. Will never return to Big O. read more

Asked for an alignment & rotation with a new tire purchased. They told me after the fact they didn't have the proper tools to align it properly. "my guy drove it, it doesn't pull that bad" So I paid for an unaligned vehicle. I asked if they rotated the tires. He said "yes" They didn't rotate the tires at all. Paid $256 for an unaligned & unrotated vehicle. Don't go here unless you wanna be scammed. read more

I typically don't have any problems when I take vehicles here for maintenance but then again, I'm not my pregnant wife who took one of our vehicles in this morning for an appointment I made. She was quoted brake replacement all the way around including drums AND rotors in the rear. FYI it has discs all the way around so either the employees became very incompetent, they like trying to take advantage of pregnant women, or both. Also, she watched numerous male customers get taken back to view their recommended repairs but not my wife. A little infuriating. Contemplated having the front brake done but not anymore at this location. read more

This mechanic shop is *the* top place I have had my cars fixed at here in town. Jake and others helped with diagnosing the problem with my car and a we need money by pointing out what did not need to be replaced. Jake did a test drive with me to be sure the repairs addressed my concern about the car lack of power. I am very glad I now have a reliable quality place to take my vehicles to here in town with peace of mind. read more

I brought my vehicle here and paid for a tire patch couple weeks ago. All this time I thought the problem was fixed but unfortunately I find out that my tire still has a hole because it's still losing pressure. I brought my vehicle to a local shop that do free safety inspection before a long drive and they're the one's that found this. They patched the tire free of charge for me. Big O Tires just lost my business. I don't think I can rely on y'all. So disappointment. read more

My elderly father was completely taken advantage of. He made an appointment for an oil change and it cost him $600. Obviously, they insisted on fixing everything they could find wrong. I'm sure it took the employee about 30 seconds talking to my Dad, to realize he would probably agree to anything. When my dad showed up at home with no vehicle, we called to see when the car would be done. When I spoke to the employee I explained that my Dad had a stroke 9 months ago and he doesn't do very well understanding money. He just needed the oil changed. He didn't care. He said, "Well, I explained all this to him" so basically you're out of luck. We'll call you when the car is done. The lack of integrity at this shop is disgusting. read more

Excellent customer service. I was recommended this place by a friend of mine for new tires! Upon my first visit the staff helped me enourmously by explaining every aspect of the tires and helping me decide on the right choice of tires for my truck and getting the wheels aligned. Shout out to Jake! I am currently getting my oil changed and could not be more happy with the customer service and quality of work. I was hopeful to find a place that I could devote my patronage to since I drive for a living, but this place has failed. I came in with a coupon that I couldn't use because I use synthetic oil. It included, oil & filter, tire rotation, fluids, lube chassis, multi point inspection, (new wipers were $10 extra). Jeff did get me $15 off the synthetic oil change. However, when I got back to my car, there was an dirty hand print on the outside of the door AND the inside, the steering wheel felt gross, and there was a nice big hand print on my dash as well. I had a small package sitting in my front seat, when they removed the contents of my glove box (to check the air filter), they CRAMMED my package in the glove box, yet left several items out of it and some of them on the floor. No windshield washer fluid was added, so I'm doubtful if ANY of the fluids were looked into. THEY RESET MY TRIP ODOMETERS. Why?? I keep track of certain travel that way and there is NO REASON to reset them! Items that were in the pocket of my door were tossed into the floor as well and a note on my invoice says "RECOMMEND WIPER BLADES" (those were NEVER recommended to me at all, or I would have purchased new ones right then). I called them back, to inform them of these items, and was put on hold for 15 minutes. Then told the owner would contact me before 5:30pm that day. That never happened. I will NEVER bring my car back there. I drive for a living and I will make sure other drivers know about the terrible service I received. read more

Big O Tires in Fountain, CO is second to none! Every single gentleman who has ever assisted me there has been extremely friendly, knowledgeable and completed the work in less than the estimated time. As a result, I have purchased my tires there (previous cars) for many years. Big O generously provides the public with complimentary air. Twice during recent months Fountain Big O has not charged me for tire repair, even though I did not purchase those tires there (My 2018 car still has the original tires). The first time Big O removed a nail and screw from my tire (which is why it kept losing air), and the second time Big O found a leak in that tire. Please be assured that when my car needs tires, I will certainly purchase them from Fountain Big O again. read more

WORST CAR SHOP EVER. Took my car in to inspect for a noise under hood. They did not have me down for the appointment i made earlier that same day. Bad start.......took car back, after 1-1/2 hours, asked on the progress. Didn't know anything. So I walked back to the bay where my car was. Mechanic said, well, I found a rock in the wheel area. I took it out, now i have to drive it to see if its better. He drove it, not better, so car goes up on rack. After ANOTHER 1-1/2 he says i needed a new shim. These guys did brakes/rotors for me 2 months ago, should have been seen then. 4 hours I sat in this place, they were rude, condescending, awful. Never again read more

I live in Widefield. Doing business with this shop for over a decade. New crew are lying, criminally inept excuse for mechanics. Failed to grease new suspension parts, failed to install zerk grease fittings more then finger tight. Installed tie rod end backwards. Left parts loose. Lied to me about greasing parts. When I got the car back after getting tie rod corrected and parts greased. I checked the new upper ball joints for grease. They hadn't greased them. No wonder there previous parts failed early. read more

I went to another tire place on base before this because my tire psi was dropping, and it wouldn't inflate with air. I was quoted a few hours to get my tire looked at and it was made clear that my business wasn't wanted. I ended up Googling other tire places and finding Big O. They were also busy, but I was able to book an appointment for later on in the day. Whereas with some auto shops you have to worry about whether they're overselling or overcharging you, I did not have that problem here. It was a simple fix, and they fixed my valve stem for free. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming to this place to get tires. They are overpriced for the tire price and service. I bought a tire and just had it put on the rim mount and balance. Tire cost 151 and ended up paying 200 dollars after all said and done. And I just dropped the tire off and picked it up. So they didn't put the tire on or take it off my car. Total rip-off in my eyes. read more

These guys rock! I went here the other day after I got a flat tire and they were beyond helpful. The place was bumping so I had to wait about an hour and I didn't want to wait in their cramped waiting area (seriously, if you suffer from claustrophobia it will not be a pleasant experience for you). No problem with that though since there are a ton of shops and places to eat that you can walk to right near Big O. I got back and even though they couldn't salvage my tire, they hooked me up with a used one for a very generous rate and was on my merry way. I would definitely go back again! read more

Great place to go for an oil change!!!! Cheaper and better than jiffy lube!! I brought my own oil and filter cause they are hard to find sometimes, which most people will do for you, but they will charge you the regular price. Here I was only charged $20 for the oil change, brake inspection, and tire rotation!! I couldnt be happier. They even cleaned some old oil off my engine block with some degreaser for me! Dropped our truck off at 7:40 a.m. for an oil change and was told it would be 2 hours. It is now 11:30 and it is still not done! Called about it at 10 and they said there were a few cars in front of us yet. Called again at 11:15 and it was still waiting to be worked on. Until last Wednesday (July 25,2018) I wasn't even aware it could take 13 minutes to jack up a car. I went in to have a screw removed from my front driver side tire. I was greeted and told they had two cars in the bay but I would be the next one in. After about 15 minutes they took my car into the bay and proceeded to ignore it 45 minutes while the shop employees stood around and talked. After realizing I have been there awhile, the man who had checked me in went out and told the shop guys to work on my vehicle. I then proceeded to watch Adrian (i believe that's his name) begin to jack-up the front end of my vehicle. I timed him, it literally took him 13 minutes to jack up the front of my car. I'm not sure what happen next because the front end of my car was down in the back end was up. When I asked what they were doing they said they could not find a screw in my front tire and they were going to check the rear. There was definitely a screw in my front tire and I explain that to them. They did however find one in the rear tire but I would've left with one of my front tire if I would not have pointed it out to them. I was not charged for any of the service but it did however take an hour and 45 minutes . I would have gladly paid for quicker service ! read more

Until recently, these guys used to be good at this location: they were fast, attentive, and worked hard. Since they pretty much switched out the crew as of fall 2017, they kind of suck. They take their time to a ridiculous degree; I was stuck here for about three hours when I used to have to just hang out for maybe one hour. They're coming in to take water breaks more than they are to update you on your car; they'll park your car for intake and the go to lunch, leaving it there while you're still waiting. I have been a long time customer at Big O here in fountain. I do not know who is running this store any more but the service has gone to crap. I took my car in a few weeks ago to have my tire rotated and balanced as I lost a weight and wanted the inside the rim weights changed to clips and put on the back of the tire. I got two on the outside and two on the inside... how is that even possible? Now even worse my wife took her car in for an alignment, tire rotation and I had seen a nail in one of her tires. They thankfully changed the oil and rotated the tires but they did not fix the nail in her tire and told her they had done it. Seriously!? We are taking her car on a road trip next week and I cant even trust them to fix a tire... I'm done with this location. Dont waste your money here. Or for that matter you safety! read more

Brought my own tires just to have them put on it has been an hour and a half. After I called and was Quoted a price it went up $40 more than what they said. And they basically told me they didn't want to do my tires because policy changed yesterday after someone on the phone said to bring them in. I do not enjoy getting the run around. They called me back to the store to say they were done and I came back and my truck hadn't been touched. Beyond frustrated! read more

Went in for a tire rotation and ask them to check the brakes. Took my car in at 11 a.m. and asked if it can be ready by 2 p.m. they said yes no problem only to come back at 2 p.m. and the car was not even looked at yet the car was actually not ready until 3:45 which I had an appointment and was late was told my car needed back brakes already upset about the time I decided to take it to another place for a second opinion this place told me the brakes are good almost looks brand new I let them know who were told me they were bad and showed him the paperwork he just laughed and said he's heard a lot of complaints about Big O Tires. I will not recommend them and will not go back. Big O Tires in Fountain was good a few years ago and I did all my work there but now they changed ownership and they are no good. I would normally give them 4-5 stars, but my most recent experience changed my mind... it wasn't the service I received, it was the amount of time I had to wait. When I showed up the gentleman was nice and stated "there is one more person ahead of you, but we will get you taken care of"... 3 hours later I left.... that is a very long time to check why ONE tire had a slow leak, not to mention I had my 8 week old baby with me, not saying I deserve any special treatment, but they could have expedited the process.... read more

I won't buy tires elsewhere. The guys here are great, and will take care of you like family. Wait times can be a bit long, but for the service you get it's well worth it. You could find tire a little cheaper at other places, but you don't get the same treatment there. Buy the warranty. They honor it to a tee, and will replace tires without hesitation should they get damaged. Great team, fair prices, and the best service in town. read more

My vehicle was in desperate need of new brakes, an alignment, and new tires. I went into this location about 3 weeks ago because it was close to where my car had gone down. I checked my vehicle in at 730am and they had my car done by 200pm that same day. I will also note that they were really busy with cars before me and they still did a phenomenal job with the quality of work on my vehicle. Scott was awesome from the time I checked it in to the time I picked up. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to get you the best deal on all their products.
