The temp was in the 90's and we had no air conditioning. We stopped on an off ramp- as far over as I could go but there was nowhere to get out safely or get the dog out. We were there for 3 hours. I decided to look myself. Finding used parts can be quite an adventure, and there are plenty of questionable sellers, but I kept Joey informed throughout the process. He graciously held the car for over two weeks while I located and delivered a used transmission. Once it arrived, Joey and his team installed it within two days, and we were back on the road. Before the work began, Joey and I discussed the cost. He quoted a price for labor, with incidentals such as oil, filters, and gaskets listed separately.
