Stop lying to customers. I went in to get an oil change. They told me that I need brakes back brakes. I said hold on on that. I talked to my boys. And I took it somewhere else. The place I took it to checked. It took me into the garage to look at my brakes. I did not need brakes. Big O was going to charge me $1200 for back brakes that I do not need. TLDR - Stay away. Bad service and shoddy work, even at something as basic as installing brand new tires. I had an awful experience at Big O Tires on Jefferson Street when my son purchased a set of brand-new tires. This shop's incompetence, unprofessionalism, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction turned a simple tire installation into a costly, time-consuming nightmare. I strongly urge others to steer clear to avoid the frustration and potential vehicle damage we endured. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ordeal began when they canceled my son's initial appointment without explanation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After rescheduling, they installed the tires, but the work was shockingly substandard. Three of the four brand-new tires lost significant air pressure just from the 20-mile drive home. The left front tire dropped to a dangerous 11.5 psi simply sitting in our driveway, and the left rear tire leaked air just by touching the valve stem--with the cap on! This is unacceptable for a tire shop whose primary job is to ensure tires hold air. We returned the car (a 40-mile round trip) only to be told they didn't have the "tool" to fix the issue--yet they were installing tires on other vehicles that day. After another wasted trip, we made a third appointment. This time, they kept us waiting over an hour past our scheduled time, causing my son to be late for work. They claimed to have fixed the tires, but upon returning home, we found three brand-new tires still leaking air when touching the valve stems. This level of incompetence is beyond comprehension for a business that specializes in tires. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff's attitude was equally appalling--unfriendly, impatient, and indifferent to the fact that their shoddy work endangered our safety and wasted our time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Between three round trips (120 miles total), hours of waiting, and dealing with their dismissive service, we lost time, money, and trust. Terrible place to get tires. The blvd location specifically doesn't meet the needs of their customers and if there is an issue with tires and alignment they will feed you a load of crap that they will 'make it right' but never follow up. I've been an occasional customer for some time now, even before they moved from their Christy Drive location ! I return mostly for tires and other wheel related services, but I have also taken advantage of other services such as oil changes. They are always professional and they are busy which I attribute to the quality service they provide. read more

This May my car temperature gauge was getting hot, so I took into Big 0. They told me it needed a new radiator because it was cracked and a fan because it was not running for $1,000+ in repairs. I ended up putting some more fluid in because it was low and having my local mechanic check out. The radiator was not cracked and the fan was working, even though Big O told me they were both needing replaced. It has not overheated since. I would not trust this shop to honestly diagnose a car problem as they clearly are out to take advantage of people to perform costly, unneeded repairs. read more

I have nothing but praise for the guys at Big O on Jefferson. They saved me money without me even asking for it. In my opinion, they are the opposite of the stereotypical service department that conjures up fake automobile maladies in order to make money on unnecessary repairs. They have been and are my go-to place for anything tire related. read more

Took a car in for an inspection and it failed when they said they would be able to fix it and pass It I accepted, they replaced a ball joint that wasn't bad with one that did not belong on the car and it immediately failed, took it back so they could correct their error and they put the original ball joint back on and still passed it all while charging me 500 dollars. Cut to a year later I buy a truck and need it inspected, I go to them since they were the only ones available at the time for inspections (all the other shops had been booked solid) this time I'm only getting the inspection, they fail it again on ball joints and say it will be 700 dollars to replace, then he takes me out to the shop and shows me that he had dented the truck I just bought and offers to take 150 dollars off the bill. Now keep in mind ball joints are only about 30-80 dollars depending on which one you buy and they caused upwards of 200 dollars in damage which I can can have another mechanic fix and replace the ball joints all for cheaper than what they were charging for just the ball joints. read more

I would not recommend this shop. It took them more than 2-1/2 hours to replace 1 tire. People kept coming in after me without an appointment and leaving well before my car even made it into the shop to complete the work. And to top it off, I price checked while I was waiting, and it would have been cheaper at Walmart Auto center. Will not be going back there again! read more
