THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR EVERY WOMAN WHO OWNS A CAR THAT NEEDS SERVICES FOR THEIR CAR AND THEY DON'T WANT TO BE CHEATED!! Because I see so many requests for "where to go for car repairs"...I have to tell you...without a shadow of doubt...go to Big O's in Sellersberg!!!! I had an emergency today...at McDonalds, my car wouldn't start. Son left work to come jump start my battery. I drove straight to Big O's in Sellersburg to get a new battery. BUT...they tested my battery, it was good. (average cost for battery is now $100+). They said next culprit could be the alternator. I asked cost....quote was right at $700. They Said, let us do a diagnostic on it. They did...and guess what!!!... It WASN'T the alternator...it was the battery in the key fob, which he came back to the counter with the key fob already fixed...and that cost was $4.00!!! PLEASE NOTE: 1. He verified the problem, even though I came in asking for a new battery. 2. He told me the TRUTH about my diagnosis. 3. He told me the next logical step & quote for price, and VERIFIED (not assume) if that WAS actually the problem! 4. He told me the TRUTH that this expensive repair was not the problem 5. He found the ACTUAL problem, fixed the problem, and told me the TRUTH about what was needed to repair my problem! I can't tell you how wonderful and comfortable I feel, as a woman, about going to Big O's in Sellersburg for my car repairs!! They don't talk down to me, they don't lie to me, they don't fix things that don't need to be fixed, they don't over charge me...they just do their job the way they should and treat you with respect and honor you as a customer! I have been going there since they opened and I have the highest respect for Chris the owner, and Cory the manager and the entire team that operates that store!! Well, I don't know that I think they are the cheapest place in the area, the service here is unparalleled. I live in a neighborhood where a large number of roofs have been replaced. As a result, I've had a lot of instances where I got a nail in my tire. I found out the hard way that this place honors their warranties. And they have always gotten me back on the road quickly. Dropped my car off for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Said I was third in line. Came back to pick up after hours ( left all day) oil change only when ask why they said bring it back! Today the counter guy said I am not breaking rotation it will be 3:00 before we can do it! Manager over rode his decision but he kept complaining I would not do that etc. but who would trust leaving their car with the attitude presented I would never trust this New business they have too much business and don't need customers! Looking for tires don't go here! Take sound advice I will drive 10 more miles to get better service! Poor service no one checking to ensure work gets done! Paperwork is checked completed ...really? I got an air leak in one of my front tires, I took it to this shop to get fixed, after they check the tire, they said the tire just had a small leak and they recommended to get a brand new tire. I wasn't convinced that a small leak will require me to get a brand new tire. So I decided to get a second opinion with a local shop, here at the local shop find out that my tire had a nail in a very visible spot, so they quickly repaired for a fair amount. It's so disappointed that at Big O Tires can't find a nail in the tired and a small local shop was able to do it. I'm glad that I decided to get a second opinion and saved a lot of money. I feel disrespected and upset to the fact that you can't trust that in a tire shop like this one could be honest with their clients. They tried to scam me, but thankfully they didn't got away with it. Do yourself a favor and don't go to this place, if you do there's a big chance that you'll be having a bad experience and end up expending way more money than you should. read more

the 1st time I went to this store I bought 4 new and fairly expensive tires. They forgot to put the spare tire back on my truck. when I called after I realized I was told "oh I have been meaning to call you all day about that..." Then why didn't you?! This was January of 2021 The 2nd time I was there I had a leak in my tire but they "couldn't find it" pulled the tire off and there is a screw in the tire so big it casts a shadow. They said they flipped the tire checked the tread and everything but couldn't find anything. Don't know how you miss that. My wife takes my truck in to get the replacement tire put on and they tried to charge over $300 when I had the warranty. They were trying to say they couldn't find the warranty in the system. Then they couldn't figure out how to put the spare tire back under the bed of the truck. Do not go here. They don't know what they are doing. read more
