They dipped the tire in soapy water to see if there was any air leaking out and found three holes in it! They even brought out the tire to show me the holes! They were able to fill the holes with plugs but honestly told me I'm probably going to need new tires soon... which I had already suspected. Granted they didn't do any mechanical work to my car, I trust their judgment and like that they are family-owned. I'm planning on returning for auto work. My son wanted some noises investigated on his car that were driving him crazy, I didn't have a lift to look under the entire car. I asked him to stop by Main Street Automotive and they would take good care of him. My son, a 21 year old stopped by there after he got off of work to see how they could help fix his car. They treated my kid like they should, they were friendly and polite, they also explained things to my son who isn't interested in working on cars or had much know-how. My son didn't feel like they rushed him or talked down to him and as always, they do a good job. I even called to get the details from the mechanic on details that my son didn't know. They were happy to explain to me what the issues were and when i mentioned a noise that my son hadn't brought up, he said, "Yeah I heard that and I fixed that too, at no charge." it was just a shield vibrating underneath the car, it just took a minute. Once again, the technicians did an outstanding job, and Chuck, Vince, and Nick each took the time to review the vehicle, explain their findings, and answer our questions. They confirmed the Lexus was a solid vehicle and gave us confidence moving forward with the purchase. The inspection wasn't just a checklist. It was an education. They walked us through the vehicle, explained what they were seeing, pointed out what mattered, what didn't, and what we should expect down the road. My latest visit was just a few days ago when I had them install four new tires, as well as balance them plus a 4 wheel alignment necessary to minimize wear on the tires as well as improve ride and drive quality.
