If you are a woman, avoid this place. We brought our car in, 24 hours later the same problem persisted. When I asked probing questions, the owner told me that I am irrational and would only do business with my husband. I brought my car to another mechanic. He told me that I have been way overcharged. It seemed as though the problem was intentionally not fully fixed so he could have us in again. Drifters at the very least. read more

I have had the worst experiences here, but for some reason we have kept trying and this one takes the cake. The owner said he would have our car ready on Friday, and then closed the store before their stated closing time and didn't tell us. We were forced to rent a car to get our children to a basketball tournament, and he offered no compensation on Monday when we finally got our car. But thats not the worst part. The new tires were put on incorrectly, and they are not going to honor the work and fix the problem. I would highly recommend trying a different tire place. read more

It's nice to find a smaller auto shop with good people that you can trust that isn't run by some giant greedy corporation. I stopped in to SW Tire and Auto for the first time and staff was great, they did catalytic converter engraving for me, they were polite, went above and beyond, and I wish I discovered them sooner. They are all good people and did some extra work such as airing up my tires without me having to ask. I will for sure repeat and would recommend you check them out for your tire or battery or other auto needs. read more

Brought my son's BMW in for an oil change. Asked about repairing a brake light. given the model of the car a circuit board needed to be replaced to fix (no bulbs these days). Didn't seem complicated to have them fix given they advertise working on BMW. However, upon paying for the repairs and driving away, I was noticed that the daytime /running lights in the back of the vehicle on both sides were not longer working. Called next day to have them look at. Couldn't give me a reason why they were working when I brought the car in, but were no longer working after them repairing the break light. Lights worked when I brought the vehicle in. Lots and lots of talking in circles, could not answer my questions. Told me my son didn't need the lights because cops aren't pulling over for that. Not the issue. The issue is that they broke something in the car when repairing it. They did, however, offer to fix the problem that they created for $1200. Will never bring my vehicle to this place again. I would caution you to do the same. Lights should have been fixed without question, free of charge. Nice guys, poor business model and customer service. Bring your car to the dealership or someplace else. read more

Ditto to Rachel K above. I was getting nowhere needing to urgently replace some very badly worn tires for a car belonging to a lady friend who little time to shop for tires. Almost by a fluke, I stopped into Southwest Auto to get some wiper blades for the same car. I happened to ask how long I would have to wait to get some new tires on this car, and after a few questions, I got some quotes and he said, to my bewilderment, we can do it right now, and get you out of here in about two hours. I have never kissed a man before, but I almost jumped across the counter and kissed this burly guy! Sure-'nuff, in two hours and 15 minutes, he was done, I signed the papers, and I was out the door! And he managed to find and install the wiper blades I needed as well! I will definitely tell one and all about the great service I received today from this establishment! -Dave L. read more

I showed up at 6:45 am with no appointment as I found a nail in my tire and I was suppose to be on the road at 7AM following a moving van south. I broke down in tears when they said they could/would fix it at 8AM when the staff came to work . They fixed the tire, rotated my tires and said the brakes needed to be looked at when I got to my destination. The previous day I had called trying to get this tire fixed and told one place 4 day wait, another 3 day wait. I am so impressed with SW Tire and Auto and their willingness to help when they had other people probably ahead of me. Courteous, and responsive to situations that were beyond my control. They don't spend all their time trying to upsell me. Say no more to win me over! I love having this place in the neighborhood. I have always had great service with a friendly attitude. The only downside is the old skool hours (limited), but this seems a fair compromise for their willingness to fit you into their schedule with little or no warning. read more

Once again SW Firestone beat every other shop in price. Four great new tires installed on our Honda Odessy and right in the hood.

This Firestone was completely incompetent. I had to get my car towed in because it would not start, and the mechanic Barry told me it was because I left my car lights on and the battery was dead. First off that isn't possible because I have automatic headlights and the key turned over perfectly fine with my radio and everything working just fine. He told me to come in and pick up my car, it was just the battery and I would be good to go. When I went there my car STILL WOULDNT START and he told me he just ASSUMED it was the battery, he did not check to see if it was working properly before letting me know i could pick up my car. What kind of mechanic ASSUMES what the issue is then doesn't check to see if the problem is fixed before telling the owner to come get it? I am truly AMAZED at the incapacity of this facility. read more

Never bring your car to these people it will come back in worse condition them you gave it to them in they are not a real firestone complete auto care they are a independent firestone so they have no accountability to the damage they do to your car you will have to take them to court they will break things and tell you you have to buy the part they broke or use duct tape to try to fix it read more

We've been taking our cars here for a couple of years for oil changes, which has been fine. Since it was close to our house we started using them for repairs, also. Not once, but twice has my vehicle been returned in worse off condition than when I dropped it off. One was a simple changing of the cabin air filter. After they recommended replacing it, it came back with a very loud noise and vibration on high blower. I called the next day to tell them and Barry told me "sometimes leaves fall in there". It was just replaced!? It didn't have that problem before. They said it wasn't their fault and wouldn't do anything about it. I also had a headlight replaced after their recommendation during an oil change. Two days later the headlight didn't work! I didn't bring it in right away (I probably should have), but took it in about a month later. The plug was burned out due to them not connecting it properly. This was 2 days later! No. I had to pay the $100 charge for them to fix it. I will be looking for another mechanic shop! read more
