It was evident my gto was much lower than stock height and also had a carbon fiber front splitter; I agreed to the alignment after they SAID they had a lift alignment machine, sadly that was not the case as it crushed the splitter, flared both right and left sides of the front clip. Caused the hood to become unaligned with the rest of the front parts. They also had left a screwdriver under the hood of my car which dented it and also seared a perfect indentation of the metal part in the lining. They tried to force my lowered car w a splitter onto their ramp alignment machine a ruined the front clip and splitter. Instead of suggesting I go to the olathe location which has a lift they did this to my car. Never heard back from customer complaint center so I just filed a small claims case for over $1000 in damage. Lenexa location has the worst manager I've ever encountered at any business establishment I've ever been to. Told me to get out and never come back when I called them out on it. Thank god I took before and after pics and had the olathe manager confirm the damage and had three witnesses w me when I went to get my alignment. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CAR DAMAGED SHARED ON FB AND EVERY CAR GROUP(approx 25) I AM APART OF. Got an oil change, rotate and balance today here. The atmosphere was great. The people were very nice. My only complaint is that Yelp had a coupon for $20 off a service that was $39.99 or more. Yelp doesn't make a business have a coupon, the business chooses to have a coupon. I didn't price the services. The business does. So when I go in for a $39.99 service and I don't get the $20 off, I take two stars off. I asked for the discount but didn't get the full discount. I can add and I can elect not to go there again. I even have a picture of the coupon and the check-in completion for the $20 off. I'm not going to argue with the business. I just won't go there again. read more

I'm amazed! Even on a day with a short staff and TONS of people coming in, the guys (and lady) at Big O we're not only incredibly friendly and helpful but they spent phone call after phone call letting people know that they could help them out with plugs, flats, etc. Most of which they were doing free of charge. I came in with a new tire, that had been previously purchased, needing to be put on and my spare taken off...fully ready to fork over whatever needed to be paid. Honestly, I just assumed I'd get charged for every tiny thing. I was charged for absolutely nothing and I couldn't believe it, I'll be returning for oil changes, new tires and absolutely any other car need I can have serviced here! read more

I asked my minor child drop my car off to get 2 new tires. I had already filled out everything online and she was just dropping it off. The manager Mr. Mason, had my minor daughter sign a document authorizing them to double the bill costing over $316. I was shocked when I went to pick it up and I had the original authorization for $152.... I have filed a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General. I will never shop here again. read more

Bad experience from a very disorganized store. I came in for new break pads due to a slight squeak that started the day before. First it allowed be to make an appointment for Sunday, they confirmed the appointment, then when I arrived I was notified they currently don't have any mechanics in on Sundays and they couldn't do anything. The man at least apologized for the inconvenience. my experience went down from there. The next day I arrived when they opened as instructed. The man said the work would be done by noon. Several hours later I got an update that I also needed new routers. The phone call seemed as if it was one of the first ones he has ever given even though it was the manager calling me. He was all over the place and didn't have any pricing information ready. I agreed to the work and was given a new time that my car would be ready. When it was time to pick it up they said there was another delay as they picked up two different routers and didn't notice they were different until after they were installed. The time was pushed back again because they had to uninstall the miss matched one and get the correct one. When it was time to pick up my car again which was after 5pm at this point it still was not ready. I was in the back for 5 minutes and could hear the mechanic talking and in those 5 minutes I lost all confidence that the mechanic knew what he was doing at one point he asked if parts were installed upside down or backwards. They finally finished then the mechanic said he didn't exactly know it was the routers and when he looked at it again maybe it was the calipers he was unsure after the work was completed. I was charged for parts that may or may not have been needed, that may or may not have been installed correctly. The only way to know for sure would be to take it to another shop and have to pay for another inspection and more labor. I understand being understaffed but this shop was completely disorganized and didn't know what they were doing. read more

We were on vacation for 2 days in KC and the day that we go to drive 4 hours home (today), I run over a nail at a gas station and my tire starts losing air fast. We obviously couldn't drive all the way home with a flat tire, so we start calling around town to see if anyone can patch my tire... no luck. Everyone said they could get it done by tomorrow evening or tuesday morning. FINALLY, we call Big O Tires & ask and they immediately said that they could fix it up today and have it done in ~45 min!! They did an amazing job at quickly patching my tire and Brent was especially helpful. He knows what providing excellent customer service looks like and did everything in his power to help us out and get us back on the road!! read more

They are very selective about alignments on trucks and will decline you in most cases. Do not recommend alignments here after a buddy of mine told me they wouldn't do an alignment on his 2017 F150. read more

Blew 2 tires and was able to get in and get the tires replaced super fast, staff is super nice and helpful. Waiting area is nice and clean.

After my tire fiasco at WalMart I drove across the street to Big O Tires. In all honesty, I probably should have just started here! The store manager was at the counter and knew who I was as I had called in just a little bit earlier. He was helping another customer but went out to take a look at my car. He let me know my tires were slightly bigger then he expected when quoting me on the phone earlier. The first set he recommended had lower mileage than I wanted, as I drive a lot for work. However, when I asked for higher mileage they got me taken care of. I got a set of 4 of their legacy tires. They had enough in stock and were able to get me in. I only had to wait about 90ish minutes for them to put on tires and balance them. Not too bad considering I wasn't there right at opening! Overall I was pleased with the service and the warranty I got with the tires. read more

If I could post a video I would. I dropped my car off on Thursday the 21st around 1pm. For a tire fix (22psi) probably my 4th one in a year of having Big O tires on my car. A week prior to the psi dropping my check engine light came on. Since I brought it in for the tire they said they could run the codes. Manager said it would be done that day. I said I didn't have to have until tomorrow morning. I called Friday afternoon, still was not done and the person I spoke to knew nothing of running the codes. Tires were fixed I got a call Saturday about the what if's on the light. Ok run a full diagnostic. My understanding from every shop I've been to you don't pay for the diagnostic as long as you get your vehicle fixed with that company which apparently isn't true here and they up charged 129$ They called back Saturday afternoon saying it was a calcule 157$ for the vapor canister valve which I was told controlled the gas use. I said go ahead and fix it. I pick it up Monday afternoon around 3pm (.4 of a mile from my work) I head back to work and at the light it's shaking. I call them they said bring it back. I don't have time now I brought it back Tuesday morning. Manager proceeded to tell me it had a hard idle prior to me dropping it off. That if it's related to their correction they would fix it. The assessment is listed on paper 'as operating properly tune up is recommended. Your car just has a hard idle. ' I have another mechanic scheduled to look Monday. There is something wrong and i had no issues before I left it with you for three days. Customer service attitude from the manager was not great. I will not be back. *** I have already submitted a complaint to the office of the district attorney for a consumer complaint. I will take this further. *** This has been a waste of my time and money especially when I have been coming in for the past year and half for multiple flat repairs.The 4 years I have owned my vehicle before purchasing your tires I never had an issue. I've driven the same route to work everyday. I should not need a flat repair every couple of months. read more

I had my brakes done at the Lenexa Kansas Big O shop on Nieman, 8 months later my brakes were grinding. I paid them $695. When I came back to them, with a warranty they said,"we will honor it", but they tried to get more money out of me. And when I said I think you guys need to honor the contract. Wow, I was in Kansas for the weekend for my sons basketball tournament. Somehow I got a nail in my tire & had to find a place to get my tire fixed because the air was leaking out slowly. I had already had a bad experience with the hotel where I was staying. And by bad, I mean the hotel had overbooked and had given my room to another customer while I was out. I finally got a room around 12 am Sunday morning and slept until around 6am when I had to get up to figure out how & where I was going to get my tire fixed on a Sunday. I needed to hurry & get my tire fixed to make it to my sons b-ball game @10:45am not to mention I still had to drive back home to Nebraska later on that day. I originally went to Firestone & was turned away because they were extremely busy with no availability. I was recommended this place by one of Firestone's employees. When I arrived here I was unsure if I would be able to get my tire fixed. But, now all I can say is how amazed I am because of how amazing & kind hearted they are here at this Big O location. I have never been to an establishment where I felt like I was the most important person in the building. It was as though they rolled out the red carpet treatment, just for me. I was able to get my tire fixed very quickly if I may add, even though they were booked solid they found a way to squeeze me in. Because of there prompt service & tentative customer care I was able to make it to my sons basketball game on time. These guys plus a lady here know just what great customer service is all about. Also they are really professional. I give Big O tires an A++. Job well done on my vehicle as well as giving me there royal red carpet customer service package. I have been going to this location for years since it was NTB for routine work. Always thought they were very good. Their manager Tim was excellent, very fair and decent. Always helpful. I had work done by them 6 months ago with no problems. A week ago I dropped my car late at night and called in the morning to hear their estimate. They told me nothing was wrong. I told them the breaks were rattling coming off the highway. They proceeded to tell me "oh yeah, you need all new brake pads and rotors, it'll be $654". I told them I was just there and should have the rear under warranty and he told me they weren't (I have the paperwork, they were). I asked to talk to Tim and they told me he retired. There is no way that happened. Then he got very rude and condescending. I said don't do anything I'm taking it somewhere else. Got everything done for fraction of the price elsewhere. New management is missing Tim. I'm assuming he didn't get along with this new terrible customer service. Need a change. Do not go here, terrible service and will try to rip you off. read more
