My grandson and wife were so excited the day they got to show me the new golf cart from Big O's about two years ago! Fast forward two years...the bumpers have all gotten completely rusted out requiring extensive repair, the suspension is rusted and the overall quality is, in a word, disappointing. Called the shop to inquire and was told, "yeah, these can get rusted but just apply some paint and it should be good to go"...not a good answer to paying almost $12,000 for a golf cart...Have had to resort to some golf cart experts that have helped repair damage I should never had to deal with from the beginning...shame on you Big O's!! read more

Bought a high end cart for way to much money that was lifted. The off-road tires cannot go on my course, so they put on new tires. Never was I told that the cart would perform so poorly (bounce) with the stiff suspension that I hate the cart. When they installed the windshield the attachment was broken and I did not realize it until I put the window up. Attached the golf club holder and one side fell off in 2 weeks. The other pin just sheared off shortly afterwards. I would not waste the title of the GOAT on these guys. I did have to call in because my email was not enough to deserve a response. SAD read more

We received extremely friendly and accommodating service when touring around town and renting a golf cart to get around. We rented at the close of their business day and they were kind enough to let us return after hours utilizing their drop box for the keys and boot to secure the cart. The cart was in good working order and we had a blast getting around Peachtree. Everyone was extremely friendly and gave us tips for where to head. One of the staff even redirected us when he saw us headed the wrong way (he was off already and on his way home but made it a point to help us out). I wish I could give the team at Big O's 50 stars. They were awesome to work with from start to finish, and I'm really grateful for all their help. We had been shopping for a golf cart for a while and just couldn't find what we wanted. We couldn't justify spending $8000 on a new cart down the street that was just a plain model with no bells and whistles when we could get a custom refurb cart from Big O's for less. It just so happened we caught them with a few carts they were about to return and build, and we were able to time it to get it entirely customized to our wishes. Total time from day 1 to finish was only a couple weeks - with apologies to Amanda for my constant pestering about it being ready. They were never pushy and always seemed to have our best interest at heart. We got exactly what we wanted and they even helped with the financing. There was one minor hiccup that delayed the final delivery but they were more than accommodating to our needs and went above and beyond to take care of us, and even went a little extra to make sure we were happy. I rented a 6 pax golf cart the 29th. The cart drove fine , but later in the afternoon my kids started crying so I pulled over and check to see. The golf cart was infested with ants. They were biting my kids in the car seat. I removed them and lifted the golf cart seats and it was everywhere. I wanted to return the cart but you were already closed. I decided to return the cart the same day and I dropped the keys into the slot box. FOLLOW UP REVIEW .......... I bought my golf cart from them because my neighbors in Woodstock neighborhood ( inwood) raves about them. Maybe because I am a single woman, they were so unhelpful when I called them when about a few months later it stopped charging. Many many phone calls later, they only could help if I brought it over which was ridiculous from Woodstock to Peachtree city. So I found a local golf repair place. The receptacle needed replacement. That's was #1 repair I thought we should be good. A few months later, it again stopped charging #2 repair everything is fine It's just sometimes happens the batteries lose charge make sure you don't charge too much or too little like it's a baby #3 mid sept 2022 again it could not hold charge one day. I haven't had time to call anyone No one else had this problem. Maybe they gave me a fairly old set of batteries with a nicely polished exterior. So the cart looks great, but wobbles when I drive, and has been a big headache. read more

Our experience with Big O was a nightmare. After getting a price quote over the phone for a new top and kit to make the cart street legal, I paid to have it picked up by them and taken to their shop. After looking at it, I was told the service would cost more money. Significantly more. I went to the shop and met with the Service Mgr. He began quoting pieces and parts for the two jobs, and stating prices that were substantially higher than quoted. I went inside to ask the lady that I spoke with about it and she reiterated the prices she quoted me. I think this is where things went south...the Service Mgr. now looked like a schmuck for quoting prices that were higher. And I was going to PAY one way or another. The end result is they were "nice enough" to honor the quote for the roof, but NOT the street legal kit. My cart looked like all the other RXV carts there, except the headlights I had on it. I was told the kit for my cart would be a lot more $$ but the Service Mgr. wouldn't explain why. It just "was". And then I waited. And waited some more. No updates, and when I'd call, I'd get stonewalled. Finally I learned they were waiting on parts, but no firm confirmation on when I could expect it. The Service Mgr. was terse on the phone, and clearly signalling to me he didn't care for me, and that was that. SIGH. Finally got the cart delivered to me after their having it a couple weeks. The delivery fees totaled $70 for the round trip. I felt gross about the whole experience and tried hard to talk to the owner, who finally called me back. He was gracious, but defended his Service guy and admitted "some people just don't click". Uh, yeah, well tell the guy to be a PROFESSIONAL and suck it up. I guess I should have just been a "good guy" and paid the inflated prices he was quoting...and not hurt his feelings. To make matters worse, after about 2 months, the street kit they installed had a part that went inop---the turn signal lamp indicator on the steering column. Oh great...I have to call them. They stated that they would warranty the part, but I would have to PAY FOR THE TRANSPORT FEES...again. I stated that I would like to speak to the owner about the fees, and to please have him call me, but I had no choice but to have them repair the part they installed. I was told they would only need it one day. (I specifically asked). After 3 days of hearing nothing, I called for an update. The lady's response to me? "John (the Service Mgr) just came in and told me there is no update". Uh, no update? That's the update? I hadn't called before, and had heard nothing, and my update is "there's no update". Okaaaay. I heard back from them a few days later (they had it a week) and was told it was done. And that I'd have to pay for the transport fees. When asked if the owner was consulted about this as requested (since I didn't get my return call as requested), I was told the Service Mgr. had "spoken to the owner and we have to charge you". I had even suggested me split the transport charge...thrown me some customer service bone here. Nope. DOH....The Service Mgr. is sticking it to me again! Well played, sir. After asking around locally, I learned this is standard for Big O's. The owner, a guy who used to really look after his customers, is now letting the Almighty Dollar rule. And screw the customers. If you want someone to stand by their work and not "stick it to you", avoid Big O's. They're not interested in doing what's right, and their Service Mgr. is a tough dude to deal with. There are other options out there. Stay away. read more

My son wanted to hang out with his friend. But, with all the COVID stuff, we needed to find something outside & fairly safe. Big O's golf carts to the rescue!! We rented a golf cart and they did a scavenger hunt as we rode around on the trails in Peachtree City! The ladies at the desk were very professional and super friendly when I called and when we showed up. They had "plenty" of carts available. Sure enough, when we got there they had a cart with plenty of gas available (and it wasn't stinky like some gas ones are!). We rented for the day at a reasonable price & thoroughly enjoyed our day! If you are looking to get your repaired, I am suggesting you do NOT go to big O's. We have been there before and things were fine, but recently we took our golf cart in because our golf cart was not holding a charge. After they took 4 days to look at our golf cart, they called me with a diagnosis. They gave me two options, one of which was to pay $900 for all new batteries, or to pay $400 and do some type of recharge. I don't know much about golf cart repair so I asked the girl what option is better. She said they would both have the same end result so of course I go with the $400 option. The day we picked up our golf cart up, we could not even make it home because it was not fixed. They towed it back to our house and said the only option was for us to buy all new batteries without any refund for the previous work they just did. So we pretty much just threw $400 down the drain! read more

If you are looking to have your golf cart repaired stay away. From the owner to the mechanics they do know what they are doing. I had a 2003 club car that was doing 7 mph. They had it for 2 weeks and could not figure out what was wrong. They claim they put a new motor in it and it flew down the road. The accelerator pedal to me seemed like it needed adjusting but they said there is no adjustment. I finally picked it up and drove 7 mph home. I brought it to another person who works on carts on the side and the throttle was not getting to 100%. In 5 minutes he drilled out the hole on the accelerator plate so the pedal would go farther down and it was fixed. Some engineer big o's is. Watch out with there builds also, they wired my friends cart wrong. The reducer was wired hot so it would run the batteries down quicker. Stay away from this place. read more

In the past year I've purchased two carts and had many, many issues. Some of the issues were related to their sub-standard installations where other issues were due to failure of worn parts that should not have made it past inspection. I've had two chargers fail in three months. I've taken the stance that I need to educate myself to understand what is happening with these carts and now that I have, it's clear they barely get their products limping before they unload them on customers. Once the cart moves forward they ship it and hope for the best. When I've had trouble, I was made to dig up receipts to prove my purchase date because they do not keep records when you "pay by check". I assumed the small cash discount offered was due to credit card fees. Turns out they aren't paying their taxes. After spending more than $10k there, you'd think they'd try to offer competitive prices on things like new tires (considering the tires they sold me were completely inappropriate) but no, they continue to gouge. I think Andy is a nice guy but I also think he's just enough sketch that you should beware. You might get a great cart but I am finding more and more that it is the exception. Of 4 of my neighbors who purchased carts at Big Os, none have held up. Just be informed and don't trust the used car salesman. read more
