Well, the blue door smokehouse in Lexington Kentucky is right up there with Caldwell's in Arizona. It's delicious blue doors brisket will knock your socks off. You can get it either lean or you can have a fatty their side dishes are delicious along with their pulled pork and pulled chicken. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you haven't gone here they have a special or you get all five meats for $27 and then you can get your side to go along with it. It's more than enough for 2 to 3 people to eat and it's delicious. We finally found a barbecue. So these people, some love because they deserve it. The service is excellent very quick very hospitable. Everything was wonderful. You can eat inside or outside all the barbecue sauces are on the table so you can use as much or as little as you want but honestly, this meat does not need barbecue sauce. We went around 3pm on a Saturday and the wait was not long. Counter ordering & they bring food to your table. Nice outdoor seating with umbrella coverage. We had a group of 8 and were seated comfortably outside. Also bonus there's an ice cream shop next door. There were two reasons I knocked Fed Up down to a 4. First, I didn't think the sweet tea was all that good. Second, everything is a la carte. The sides were $4 each.
